How to Make an Art Deco Ring with a 1.4 Carat Diamond 💎 An Engagement Ring with Something Old + New

- In this episode, Harry, Karl's right-hand man, gets to work on a custom Diamond ring for their client Linda who loves Art Deco jewellery design.
The creative team will show you how to make this beautiful ring completely by hand.
Lindas 1.40 Carat Diamond center stone is going to look awesome in this 1920s inspired design
➡️ So, today, we’ll be showing you the process of creating a modern art deco engagement ring requested by one of our customers.
We believe each ring should look just as beautiful from the bottom as the top and we’ll do our best to do justice to a style that represented modernity and luxury.
Art deco originated in France in the 1800s and the style is characterised by geometric shapes, streamlined forms, bold and contrasting colors, and pieces are usually made from expensive materials and are rarely mass-produced.
➡️ Eventually, jewelers such as Louis Cartier and others incorporated the style in their creations.
In this video, you’ll see me continue the tradition started by those 19th-century jewelers by creating an art deco-inspired engagement ring with a present-day twist.
✨ Each piece is lovingly hand-made by the craftsman themselves’✨

Welcome to our Channel - All the latest from the creative team at London Rocks Jewellery workshop in Hatton Garden! 💎
Here, we set out to give you a glimpse into the world of bespoke jewellery and show you how to make unique, hand-made masterpieces!
Making Jewellery is one of the world’s most ancient crafts, yet it never gets old!
➡️ Our Videos depict the process of refining metals into forms that have a life of their own, as well as practical aspects of the business (such as sourcing materials) that most people may not consider.
No matter how many original designs we create and sell, we still enjoy being students of the craft and recreating designs of our contemporaries. This process helps us to learn and to appreciate the work that goes into each creation.
➡️ On this channel, you’ll see us place gems and semi-precious stones such as diamonds, emeralds, and others, into settings that we’ve crafted by hand.
Crafting Jewellery is a very personal endeavor that takes many hours and careful precision, but the process of watching each piece take shape is very exciting!

this video deserves a thousand likes .bravo a professional job
Wow thank you ,that makes all the hard work worth it 😉
Beautiful.
I have over past year been collecting rings after the removal of a very antique ring before a serious heart op. I was told of I didn’t remove it I might lose my finger!
As a result I’ve had the ring repaired and spent some time buying rings I like and as it turns out most of them are art decor art deco inspired rings.
I love them, I love this ring and look forward to checking out your previous vid and future vid. I’m now following you!
Gorgeous!

What is cutting azzures?
@@LondonRocksJewellery I believe the correct spelling is a'jour, it is the square cut openings underneath the melee stones.
@@VAskateboarder ah yes we just called them back holes .
But I lthink azzures sounds much better
