The ground school deals humored me. In 1975, I took ground school at night at Renton high school, literally a few blocks from the Boeing company manufacturing plants. The cost was $20. My instructor...the grandson of Charles Lindberg. Flight lessons at Renton field right on Lake Washington.
My mom went to Lindberg high school
Love the videos man! can't wait to meet you guys one day I'm near San Jose and got a Mooney m20f, I actually had a job interview today and got hired to work in an airplane maintenance shop on track to get my A&P certificate. Thank you for making these videos I know myself and many others enjoy watching. Safe flying boys!
A fresh paint job and a new interior are always good ways to increase the value of an airplane. Plus, it will just look more appealing.
plus silver eagle kit for hotrod level it's spacious too
Sat on a cushion on a dash that's too big aren't amazing, otherwise plane seems awesome
Love you and Christian’s success. I’m a big fan of your whole group of aviators. Thank you for taking us along with you guys seeing all your wins👍🏼
Let's hear more about you and Chris's pilot training. How many hours, solo time, X-country time, what are you flying, etc?
He’s bought like 20 airplanes and knows more about small aircraft than most pilots and can’t fly yet. Like wtf, it’s like 50 hours, just knock it out.
@@scottyolo1 We don't know the whole story on these planes, but he/they do appear to have some knowledge. With all their experience on and off the video, I would think much quicker than 50 hours. But as to their GA knowledge, it seems a bit superficial. But I enjoy and comment.
The 210 has always had droop tips--it was the first Cessna to have them as standard equipment. (The final R model had a unique, somewhat rounded off aerodynamic wingtip)
So excited to see these new planes in videos, I can see the pure passion for aviation in this group and I love it! Keep up the amazing content, and congrats on the new planes, ❤
Thanks, will do!
They aren't even pilots. Passion for aviation 😂
Sweet. Looks like you're enjoying flying and running a good business. 👌 The 210 deal looks like a smart one too. And you know you've arrived when you fly next to Citation Max!!!
The slightly over ripe Banana 210 🙌🏻 She’s a BEAST to fly. Another banger!
Congrats to the new planes. Do some upgrade to the paintwork of the first one and change the registration. I love the CitationMax channel, great collab.😊
Hi Bros,
A friend of mine owns a Cessna 210A and that’s to my opinion the white/yellow plane you showed in this vlog. His Cessna indeed flies very stable and quiet for a single engine aircraft. I’ve joined a few flights with him to London, Paris, Hamburg, Berlin Munich. All departed from Eindhoven. The last city might be unknown with you 😀.
I look forward to your next vlog and send you love from the Netherlands I
Ditch the STEC and put in a Garmin GFC500 autopilot. Money well spent.
Love the passion for planes. Reminds me of myself. Keep up the good work please
I grew up in a 63 Cessna 205 amazing plane we still have it.. unfortunately my father passed so no one flies it..but it is still in the hanger and up to date.. excellent plane..
You guys make some fun trades and "maybes." A 1970s P210 was my first almost-job as a pro pilot. I'm still sorry that didn't happen.
Enjoyed your meet with Jimmy. What a surprise to see Max! I've enjoyed his vids for years.
Subbing!
Always love watching your channel !
Hey guys great video it brought back old memories. I used to fly the same model 210 tail # N6662X back in 1973 - 74 great times.
Keep up b the good work
I have got to say, I'm absolutely thrilled to see this awesome new journey with these incredible Cessna 210s😎💯 I have been having such a blast🎆🎇 going on this fantastic journey with all of you.
Just subscribed!! One of my go to channels for aviation!! Great content guys.
Welcome aboard!
i cant stand chris
Hey guys, heads up, you should never allow a passenger to tow a pilot what to do. Just an FYI. One person has Pilot in command.
Love it. Owned a 210D 1964 can't wait to see.
Loved the CitationMax collab!
Great content...keep it coming! I can see you know how to trade! Roll safe out there!
JR AND Citation Max? Score! Get me off this ledge! Need the next video to drop lol
The Horton Kit, Vlo stall speed will be very interesting... Stall Fences, and Gap Seals are some of the easiest Cessna lift upgrades...(for future projects)
Ya got to love that formation flying, like stationary views at 10K feet
The 182 will be missed, agreed not enough content. Citation Max is dope, glad you had him in the video.
Good thing the 1st plane has a Duracell 9 volt running everything !!!!! LOL
I look at your 153 mph TAS at 12 GPH LOP, and it makes me glad I have my Cozy - I fly 185 mph TAS at 7.5 GPH!
That's fassst!
I’m getting ~7gph at 184mph TAS LOP in my RV-7A with EMAG ignition. Makes me smile every flight.
The breadcrumbs you leave to follow home is a great process to follow nice one boys crack on
Now you have me wondering what went wrong Jeff! I don't blame you for the deals you made. I think you have a chance to make some good profit. Pay for keeping that jet in the air!
I own a ‘61, basically a 182 but with retractable gear. Great fuel burn. You guys will enjoy the 210. 👍
29:40. Holy cow, that pilot needs to learn how to fasten a Cirrus seatbelt. It’s not supposed to be riding that high.😄
Sweet! Keep it!! An unbeleavible Deal.
Flip it after adding a PT-6 and pressurization. Same with the other one. But maybe some practice flying for you guys first.
Keep grinding the aviation content. Use it, upgrade it, fly it ALOT! And move on to the next airframe. I don’t want all the airplanes just one of each.
New headliner
How did u get from Oshkosh to where the 1st 210 was and what happened to that plane? Enjoy the content.... love the art of the deal.... keep trading and sharing....
Hey guys I have a group flight over to Catalina Island if you're interested in joining on Dec 2nd. I have myself and a few others flying out of DVT and some others I think from a few other local airports plus a friend coming from Las Vegas and 2 from San Diego meeting is there for Lunch. Plan on leaving DVT at 9am and landing at AVX around 11:30. Let me know if your interested in putting the 210 up for a nice cross country flight to Catalina and back 🙂
Those paint runs are shocking
This airplane was at my home airport yesterday! Looked like Matt Guthmiller was flying it!
Seeing you and Max in the Cirrus, I was thinking you look like you could be brothers.
Buying a plane because of the instrument panel isn’t very smart. But I find it’s pretty up to par with the younger pilots
Hi, guys. I watch your videos every day. What's happened to JR Garage? I've missed it for about 4-5 months. Did you sell out and move from Phoenix? Are you both going for your pilots' licenses? Please give me some feedback.
Tons of videos filmed for JR Garage now I just have to edit them
You're 62JR looks great spent a lot of money on it but something you're going to keep for a long time and it'll be safe for you to fly enjoy your programs if you ever fly up to Payson Arizona I believe you are now in Scottsdale it's Scottsdale airport they have great pies and good food hopefully I'll see you up here one day I go every morning have my coffee enjoy your programs thank you Bill
Hope you enjoyed the Rio Grande Valley !!
Shoutout Skywagon University. Under rated channel to 100k subs by end of the year? Help out the community. Love your content guys, living your best life.
Skywagon university is an awesome channel!
Love the plane just the paint….
The first picture of the STOL kit logo showed the paint and it looked as if it was painted with a brush and roller!
Long-time Pecos, Texas resident. Pronounce it Pay' - cus. Accent on Pay with a long "a" and a short "u". That airport has been long known for its hospitality.
Heck yeah
When are you going to do the new videos on the main channel
What’s the introduction song for the Cessna called?
Ha ha ha. Pee'cos Tx 🤣💦. It's pronounced "pay-cus"
Hello from Texas. Btw like the shout out to Mark at SWU !
Good to know! Pay-Cus
Watching you guys makes me think I wasted my life; and I'm fairly successfully retired. I'm so jealous........
Leave the 210 be. It is what it is. A highly effective stol aircraft.
yall should buy a Cirrus Vision G2
Do you have a PPL yet?
Keep it and fly it! Have that airplane be the utility hauler
He can’t fly it. Doesn’t have a pilots license.
Do Cessna 210 not have retractable wheels ?
Can I ask you guys what kind of prebuy you guys do on the planes? Seems scary to me if its just you guys. No disrespect intended, I understand you have done a lot of research on planes by now and i'm sure you know a lot, but I am a 500hr pilot and single engine plane owner and I would never attempt to even do my own prebuy or buy without a prebuy let alone taking it up with the current owner before buying to see engine temps and feel the controls out etc. A low time engine is great, but an engine that has been sitting or under used for the amount of time its been in the plane scares me more than higher time engine that is used constantly. Tell me you guys at least do a compression check and/or borescope the cylinders and lifters for pitting, scope inside the wings, and look at the spars if you can for again pitting and spalling. I've seen sight unseens come back and bite so so many guys in the ass. I think you guys have been bit by the bug on an earlier plane if I remember correctly? Its your money so you can do whatever you feel comfortable with! No trying to be rude. Simply just intersted to hear what kind of prebuy inspection you guys do and what professional looks at it for you. Living in south texas, corrosion is real...
Need to learn to fly in it.
That color scheme is straight out of the 1970s.
You should have said, "let me introduce you guys to one of the Lee twins.....Ug.
How come your propeller RPM is so high? Mike Birch at savvy aviation has proven that you could reduce fuel burn without any engine degradation by reducing propeller RPM to under 2000 RPM
It's business minds yes. Onward
Can we get a “plane line up” video of all of the plane you guys currently own?
Good idea
I'm retired and have much experience in avionics installs and repair. Also, I'm a aircraft pilot/owner of a 1949 A35 Bonanza. Let min know if you can use my experience.
Oh Yeah. I'm retired.
Is that one of the😊 models that has an AD on the center section of the wing spar?
No nasty spar AD on these strutted 210s
I am 10 minutes away from ktxw let me know when you go back so I can meet you guys 🤟🏻
That is a very early model,, still has the wing struts. Should have just purchased a 206
280 hrs and only 26 to 36 PSI of oil pressure? I have owned 1 1960 210 2 Barons 2 Bonanzas all with IO 470s I have flown several others including Cessna 310 All had 45 to 70 PSI @2400 RPM . I saw 50 at start up but only 26 at climb out. That is not enough for me.
Paint only
I think you need a piper Dakota
Lowest time on the market Canadian no corrosion aircraft
C gapo
On controller
I have been subscribed for a long time .
Just went threw 1000 hour .
Lost dad last Xmas and have been busy flying rotary but to expensive to keep APO give it a thought
Thanks
Bruce.
666 nothing can go wrong with that!
Great video! I have a suggestion for the 210. Donate it to Redeeming The Time Ministries for a missions airplane. We currently have a 172g and need the upgrade. 👍🏻🙌🏻
Turbo prop...lol.
Were they smoking those left handed cigerettes when they painted that airplane?
RIP Billy maze
RIP
nawice.
Repaint please!!😂
for those not in the know it [exaust gas temps] my dad used to fly key word Piper Cherokee 142 i forget which. model Aviation is all fun until you get the annual bills . Ad’s air worthy directives [manditory] my dad and i and family would go up boot around. back when i was about an early teen now 43 i got proficient enough to start it check fuel for water. all the pre flight stuff. Why am i not flying learning disability in memory and math. The scariest thing once after an annual preflight checking control surfaces co pilot felt normal but upon checking my dads controls it felt weird had left right all that was normal but pulling back not so much way too loose it was like nothing was hooked up. I said yea the tails moving then i heard a scrape like a tinny noise so we go looking 👀 popping the carpet up he’s back their fiddling with the tail jack pot what I kid you not if we took her up as we were prepping to do. The pilot side control cable was un raveled all the strands had broken accept one never will forget it me flying ya nuts. but i would be pilot in command theirs no let’s swap seats i’d be putting both hands on the yoke my dad handling the radio and the may day working the engine settings and flap and walking me though landing her. let’s just say my heart was in a panic mode i saved our bacon 🥓 that day. free fix new cable i thumped it Ting thumbs 👍🏻 up.
Still old, slow and dodgy. You guys are still young, rise up!
As long as it's mechanically sound, I'm not seeing a problem here. The speeds that they mention are not slow compared to a 152 or 172. And there's lots of normal, not rich folks out here flying 50-60 year old planes.
"No issues." Next sentence, "Autopilot is inop." lol.
You can't figure out what to do? How about fix the autopilot and get it steering as well. Fix the dash.
666 is perhaps a bit unfortunate
Put a rad paint job on it and flip it.
The yellow and brown leaves a little to be desired…
Agreed, flip asap. Nothing attractive about it other than the price you paid.
Fyi that South Texas Mechanic/seller is shady.
Too many 6’s in that rego.
I’m not superstitious but the 666 # ???
6661*
I don't kno dude... dudes that 300 hp 182 may have been cool to setup as a TOW RIG for gliders??? or eh...
Nice to be given lots of money from the Parents…..lucky lucky
Pecos is pronounced Pacos boys. I’m from Texas
That's why the drug cartels like these 210 Cessnas 😂. Cost effective and performance.
these SEVERAL smaller planes menas, IF you get them all sorted out and flying at the same time all paperworked up and ''AVIALABLE FOR SOME HOURS TO USE ACTUALLY USE THEM'' you could station the thrree one in fla or GA ? one in midwest north if you do biz up there>>?? one down at HOMEBASE in the southwest, use the FASTER JET or bonaza or wutever to GET TO THE SMALLER ONE Then fly into the smaller airport to do the biz at the hanger, be it buying AIRCRAFT of ''carcraft'' which is just aircraft without wings mostly GROUNDED AIRCRAFT LOL HAHAHAHAHAHA
anyhow.... have a GREAT ONE!!!
free will free choice, *I* personally choose to have no thing other than GREAT ONES !!! :) (A GREAT ONE....) may ALL OF you all have a great one too!!
You can make a little bit of money dealing with these airplanes .
I got to say thank you
You made me laugh
Calling your experience natural
Yeah Right
I know what you mean though in high school i was driving my 1963 corvette sting Ray convertible
I earned mowing lawns washing windows before internet
What your living now
Enjoy
It is so rare today with nearly 8 billion on the planet that all want to be famous for what they own or video with really never ever any hard work
Again thanks for the laugh
It’s like in my day we would joke about the book 😢
“”Making it on your own”
By Nancy daughter Frank Sinatra she did it naturally too
lol
It isn't a Centurion it's a 210. There is a difference.
That is correct
How do you guys have the money to buy all those planes?
You both should join the Air Force and take us on the journey.
Paint it and change Satan’s N number. 😂
