I’m loving all your California vlogs Chris. We’re in the UK (Norfolk) & are planning our very first California trip after visiting other places in the US. We’re spending 3 weeks so hopefully we get to see a lot of different things. Flying into San Francisco & driving down to San Diego before flying home. This place looks like my kind of thing as I love arty quirky places 💕
I've had vegan ice cream before, and it's quite good! That shopping mall looks really cool. I like all the different art that is mixed in with all the different shops in there.
This seems a lot like a much more successful version of a mall I heard about in Orlando that sadly did not survive much beyond a year or so (I want to say it was something like “Art-agon” ??…)…I had heard about it on Tim Tracker and other Orlando-based UA-cam channels but it opened just after one of every-three-years-or-so Orlando vacation and closed before we were able to return…This place sounds like just my type of Quirky! Thanks for sharing this, Chris!
very interesting...something you'd usually see in a Ripley's book or something, shout out to those who continue support small local businesses alive and going! (Panda at 3:29)
Thanks for always coming up fresh content. "Vegan Ice Cream Shop"?? Only on the west coast. lolol Have a good weekend Mr. Chris. Hey....are you still able to be a remote worker? BTW....I can't believe you are near 300K Subscribers. Great Job Sir!
I had almost forgotten about that place, been 20 years since my last visit. Back in the mid 1990's the place had a more goth look. The bar back in the 90's was a bar/cigar lounge and a popular hangout for women to be "anti" norm at this anti mall by puffing their loved cigars.
Great, video. Can you put a link of the "camp mall" in the comments? I couldn't find it in the description or on the screen. It reminded me a bit of the Sunset Cornerstone Gardens but a lot more funk and junk. I visited Gardner Village mall last year near Salt Lake City in September and they had it decorated with Witches for autumn. It was definitely a unique sight to visit - I would suggest going if you ever go out there in the fall. It's definitely for shopping, but not a typical mall.
You are right Chris, too weird. But it's always good to know what out there & thanks for doing this for us. SINCE OC girl is Taiwanese if I remember correctly, then you guys really know what you are talking about when it comes to flavors. Thanks so much for that too🍨🍧🍦🍡
Hi Chris. Definitely a little weird and a very unique mall. I'd probably check it out if I'm in the area. I love pizza so I'd probably hit the pizza place. Thanks for sharing and take care.
I really want to go here. These little stores all look nice.
They say Vinyl is making a comeback.
Apparently!
An interesting shopping experience; an adventure bazaar.
Thanks for sharing, Chris.
Thanks Alex!
Love all your vids, thanks for a new one. Been watching your channel for a long time. Keep rockin it.
yes even little stores need anchor stores....cool place.
Wow, very cool vlog! Love seeing unconventional little local shops and businesses. Thanks😊
Thanks Brenda!

Hi Landport... yeah... I'll be releasing that video on Saturday! :) Stay tuned
Lol I had a feeling you'd show us the yellow Hokas
Taiwan seems to be great country for foodies. Can't wait for your videos from there
Thanks Joe!
Interesting place. Thanks for sharing
Thank you too Claire
I was gonna ask you if this was the same setup as the one in Pasadena. Looks like a neat place!
Hmm... not sure of which mall in Pasadena you mean Jeannified
@@YellowProductions I guess it's the Anti mall that you visited in Pasadena that I am referring to.
I love this place ❤💛
You'd be right at home here at The Lab! :)

Thanks Juliet! Yes... we went this mall specifically for the Taiwanese ice cream :)
I should go more but I can never get parking times I go
Parking is rough for sure

Awesome job Chris.
Thanks Adam!
No problem Chris.
is the mascot a black badger? beaver? or panda?
Panda!
I want that ice cream!
I’ve been south coast mall it was nice
It sure is!
Do you consider this a "Hidden Gem" Mall?
Indeed 😉
Now go down the road to Al Palace, best chinese food in the OC. I am not exaggerating.
"You had me at vegan." Chris have you ever done a show on california vegan/restricted diets due to allergie eats....like Bibibop in Santa Monica?????
Not yet 😀
Little American Business with an Urban Outfitters. hmmmmm.
I think this was one of the first Urban Outfitters locations... when they were actually small :)
I'm early
You sure are Luis!
every time i'm there, i feel like ron swanson in "grain 'n simple." 😁
I bathe too often to go to a terrible place like this.
hah
