There is a story of a Russian man by the name of Anatoly Moskvin, who would dig up dead girls mummified bodies and make them into “living dolls”. He was arrested after this unhealthy habit reached a high in 2011, when 29 bodies of girls from 3 to 25 years in age were found mummified in his apartment. Anatoly had said, when he was 13 he had been stopped by a group of men in black suits, that were en route to the funeral of 11 year old Natasha Petrova and said that they had forced him to kiss the corpse of the dead girl. He said he had kissed the dead girl once, then again, and again. The mother of the dead girl had put a ring on his finger and a ring on her dead daughter. Anatoly agreed that this was where he started his obsession with the dead.

We have this tradition in Romania :When someone dies unmarried you chose their partner or someone close and you do a weeding, including all the traditions of a Romanian weeding. It supposed to help the spirit of the deceased one to go through all the stages of life. You dress the deceased one in a suit or a weeding dress, depending on the gender, (same happens for the one that they "marry"). They wear weding rings as well to make everything a bit more real. One of my friends has been the bride in a funeral of such when her, back then, boyfriend sadly died in a car crash. They don't kiss or anything. Is just a religious tradition in a very religious country. Maybe they have similar stuff in Russia?

As a Colombian I can say the first case is extremely disturbing, it was mainstream news for a couple days. Also his Facebook page is way scarier than what he posts on tiktok. He goes everywhere with the mannequins, even traveling in local buses with them 💀. Also, I'm not sure where you got that he spent 40000 pesos creating them but that's not $2286 usd, 40000 colombian pesos is less than 10 usd

The guy basing mannequins off a real girl he broke up with is pretty creepy, but I'd say the lady with the Halloween dolls is pretty normal for an objectophiliac. For a dedicated objectophiliac like her, loving an object is comforting, easy, and fulfilling, even though some people might think it's odd it doesn't really hurt anything, and she's happy.

For real, I liked her. I appreciate the self-awareness and openness Felicity displays. Her dolls are honestly pretty cool. If she's into horror or creepy films, especially b-movies, Felicity could totally get into masks and props. There are other people in the industry she could probably reach out to, or even just start her own etsy. Dolls need clothes and things, right? Idk, I think you have a point about coping with her trauma and working through it by using her unique skills/interests to create.

I remember the video about the zombie dolls girl. It was really heartbreaking, she had to live a really terrifying life. But she seems pretty lucid about the fact that this is a way her mind created to cope with all the trauma she went through, I don’t remember if she went to therapy but it seemed likely. All these people are obviously mentally ill people that need help. The fact that it’s very creepy to witness it’s also clear I think.

What I don't understand is how someone like Christian would desperately want a real family, only to ruin any possible chances of making that happen by committing his time to plastic and silicon. Ayyyee, Colombia mentioned. To add a bit to Christian's story, the interview you saw and referenced is of one of the biggest media platform in my country (Revista Semana) so he kind of blew up here for a while. After his "inoffensive" videos he actually went a bit insane and posted a few videos where he said he was getting rid of Natalia (the mannequin) and I believe he actually "burned her to death" which was pretty dark, even if after some time he built her again. You might want to check some reuploads of that. Also, you mentioned he spent over 40.000 pesos making them and said it was around 2k but it's nowhere near that lol, it's around 9 dollars, 2k would be like 8-9 months' minimum wage here. Love you tuv!
It says 40k pesos is 2,392.87 so just under 3 k American dollars. Edit there is Colombian and Mexican pesos. Colombian would be $10 like you said Mexican is the other. Learned something new everyday,thx.

Mannequins scare me at stores. I’ll be walking around looking at my phone and I’ll see one in my peripheral vision and I’ll think it’s a real person and it scares the shit out of me.
I myself have a weighted baby doll (it's Waldorf style and not creepily realistic) I got it because it helps with my anxiety disorder so in a way I can understand where these people are coming from but they are a bit too obsessed which is a cause for concern.
Some with my stuff animals. I like collect them and I also just enjoy having a big pile of them. It how I cope with my mental situation. My mom was cold and probably has her own issues but stuff animals gave me affection I was missing from mom
I have heard of people using puppets to help with severe forms of social anxiety so I personally don’t have a problem if someone finds comfort and happiness within a mannequin. I’m sure mental help would benefit them but truthfully it can benefit everyone and it’s not my place to speak on someone else’s mentality.

It’s interesting how they hear the dolls “talk” as I experienced the same thing as a child with my stuffed animals. They all had their own personalities and I’d make them speak through me. Having an abusive childhood it was definitely a coping mechanism that thankfully was grown out of. I hope these people can find some sort of peace with their trauma.

I’m 31 and still have my stuffed monkey.. he’s part of the family 😅 not to this extent though 😂 I remember I was around 9 and put him in my backpack ready for holiday and my dad said ‘he won’t be able to breathe’ then said ‘for f sake even I think he’s real now’ 😂😂 he’s been there through my open heart surgery, many other operations and a bone marrow transplant.. he’s a legend. The nurses and cleaners got to know me and used to give him stickers or move him around when I was having scans or something so when I got back he’d be tucked in bed or eating biscuits on the chair 😂
There's definitely a whole group of these people and they're all over any type of media, not just tiktok. Seen some from FB, YT, IG, Reddit, chans, etc. I remember one dude has a furry home made family. Another has "birth videos" like the TT guy. It's an....interesting subculture to say the least

Hey Tuv, love the vids. I'm from Colombia. I don't know where you got that he spend 40,000 pesos from, but that's like 9 dollars. The Colombian peso is very devaluated so, 40,000 is not that much.
