Good old Mike. 75 years old and still bopping on GMR. Had a hit , IN 1982, which reached 75 in the charts ' who you looking at ' , at the age of 35 years .
The lead singing into one mic and the Twins singing backup in the other is reminiscent of John Lennon singing in one mic and Paul and George sharing another. Nice update of that arrangement.
They choose to take the soft road to making money, they sell their talents/songs on the net so you will not hear them on radio or Tv. stations. that's why they will never be like the Beatles or Rolling Stones. They choose not to be that. I certainly agree that they could easily become that if they wanted, but their lack of 'lust for gold ' is very refreshing.
I just recently discovered these twins on youtube and I think they're awesome! I love how the redhead rocks out with that Gretsch! They're on Spotify too.
You guys are honestly my favourite group right now. Not just on facebook. I'd love to one day have a chance to play with you guys. Because you both know how to rock'n'roll. Its a pleasure to listen to you guys. So thank you.
If you listen to the live acoustic cover they do every week on Billy Butler's show on BBC Radio Merseyside (at several minutes past 11.00 each Saturday), you won't need to wait such a long time for new songs on here... ;)
Barrett Strong - Money "Money (That's What I Want)" is a rhythm and blues song written by Tamla founder Berry Gordy and Janie Bradford, which was the first hit record for Gordy's Motown enterprise. Barrett Strong recorded it in 1959 as a single for the Tamla label, distributed nationally on Anna Records. Many artists later recorded the tune, including the Beatles in 1963 and the Flying Lizards in 1979(.wiki)
You ladies have great stage movement. Love the guitar work and your voices are excellent. The songs you play are from my generation, I loved them then and I love your cover of them. Your own songs are real good too. Keep it up and enjoy life. Are you guys tall or is it the heals?
What a great night it was thank you girls! Videos of Mike Sweeney & Paddy O'Hare over on our channel and some from our set at The Met coming soon! Mike & Paddy x
Love it! The twins’ guitar skills and vocal harmonies are out of this world! 👏👏👏👏

I love this song. The background vocals are so important, and done well here.
Why arent these girls international superstars? They are wonderful!

I’m I the only person who feels that there has been a reincarnation of John and George through these talented beautiful young people?
yeah, you're the only one
@@TheSebiestor hahaha
@@TheSebiestor true
I'd said John and Paul.
You are great together! Fab fit. Mike still has that quintessential energy and the voice. Lovin' it!
Thank You so much!..
That was rocking! Mike Sweeney is a legend and sure knows how to rock! A cool song, 'Sweens' and you girls - what a fantastic combination! ;-)
Even sharing the mic like John and Paul!
actually like Paul and George
Paul and George knuckleheads
If I did a version with my brother and one of my friends, I would sing the lead whereas Colin and Martin would have to share a mic.
Nice 👍
