people look at vloggers (especially in India) like crazy ppl who talk to a camera 😂😂😂😂
Cringe is real.
Shashwat Ashiya
At? 😅😅😅
When people stare at her vlogging, the cringe reaches levels it shouldn't.
Shashwat Ashiya
yessss! it's...unbearable 😣😅😂
I found it very constricting to shoot this vlog with the stares and glares all the time. but soon I realised that if I don't keep rolling I won't have enough content for this video.
Also India has the worlds first fully solar powered airport in the world - Cochin International Airport
my balcony is the smallest airport, only my one Remote helicopter takes off from there and few paper planes , occassionally.
I think Agatti Airport at Lakshadweep island is the smallest in India...and the most beautiful too...
Pranit Raut yes, you are right and Agatti airport is the smallest with the runway capable of handling a max of an ATR-42 (In commercial planes. Talking about milatary, some are even made to land on mud) and a terminal enough for 300-450 passengers at a time. It is the least connected too.
Nishu SADRANI ATR-72 too
Pranit Raut Yes, but it requires a pilot capable of carrying a landing at Kai-Tek Airport.
Shimla is wayyyyy smaller
Yup, it feels like landing on water. Super-cool!
Was good but You didn't share your views on Bangalore airport. 😛
Really interesting video!
Although one thing caught me by surprise - you said that "not even an A380 is able to land" at Trichi. That's the biggest commercial plane in the world, and it cannot land at most airports in the world, so not sure how that it is a limiting factor. (Also most airlines don't even have an A380)
GovernorBandicoot was just about to comment that. she needs to get the facts right!
GovernorBandicoot a lot of people from the south travel to dubai especially on work. Emirates has one of the largest fleets of A380s and they are not able to operate out of trichy. Yes there other airlines that fly to dubai but today most international airports around the world have runways big enough for A380s
Whack Ah alright. I understand what you mean now :) To be honest though, I doubt Emirates would deploy an A380 on that route any time soon even if the runways and terminals were upgraded for it. The Indian government has lots of restrictions on foreign airlines regarding number of seats/week due to which it doesnt make much commercial sense for emirates to bring the A380 to india. Despite flying to all 4 airports in India that support the A380, Mumbai is the only one where Emirates sends the A380
GovernorBandicoot actually it lands in delhi too, and now jet airways has acquired one as well. If the runway were upgraded in the future it would make perfect sense for them to deploy one since it's already a fast growing sector
I agree on the last point, but your first point has a couple of factual errors:
1) Jet airways doesn't have an A380. They haven't even ordered one.Their largest aircraft is a Boeing 777.
2) Emirates A380 doesn't land in Delhi - only Lufthansa's and Singapore Airlines' A380s do.
But anyways - I agree with you and I see the long term merits of having max spec airport, however the decision to upgrade must be given some serious thought. In the current environment with restrictions on foreign airlines, a lack of Indian airlines with an A380, and the high cost of upgrading terminals and runways - its a very big risk! Hyderabad and Bangalore airports both upgraded, but have no A380 flights coming in, and thus they are among the main lobbyists to ease regulations so that the investment pays off. Until that happens, they're just losing money.
Another issue (which I should have probably brought up earlier!) is that upgrading airports might not be so smart in the long term as well. Orders for the A380 are drying up with only 2 orders placed (5 aircraft) in the last 3 years (there were a few more but they have been cancelled). It was in the news last year that Airbus was seriously considering discontinuing the A380 and focusing on more in-demand aircraft until these 2 orders came in.
I'm so sorry for the really really long comment! I'm just really passionate about this topic :)
I think bagdogra should be the smallest domestic airport as u really can walk and board the plane
both commercial and defence use the same run way and helicopters keep on hanging around u like cars in a traffic jam
I don't understand why you said "even A380 can't land at trichy"...A380 is the largest passenger plane in the world with the largest wingspan. In India there's only like 4-5 airports where an A380 is fit to land!
LOLS YEAHH HEEHEHE LOLS .. SHE BASICALLY WENT " OHHH DIS AIRPORT IS SOO TINY AND LACKING IN INFRASTRUCTURE DAT IT CUDNT MANAGE EVEN ONE MEASLY A380 !! SIGHH :( LOLS :D . I WAS LIKE WTF !!?!? :-/ :-/
No idea about smallest airport in India. But in Nepal except Kathmandu airport, all other airport are very very small like a small bus stand and only small airplane of 18-25 people can get landed.
And In Nepal from Pokhara City to Jom-sum the small airplane flies between two mountains which is a really a fun.
I have lived 30 years in Nepal and now living in Vaishali, Ghaziabad from last 3.5 years.
Any airplane which is not landed in kathmandu for any reason cannot land in any other airport of Nepal so that plane comes to Delhi to land.
Very informative video , I'd suggest you to continue Vlogging on other airports too(as you travel around so much :) ) and maybe put that together in a future video too. And one more request , please tell the tribe the trick of getting your luggage quick or first.(please , please!) :P

❤ from Jammu
Actually dum dum ( calcutta ) airport had a huge significance till around 80’s ( if im not wrong ) the influence was so strong that every aviator watch had calcutta time in it
Just look at all the comments it really seems that officially we don't know which is the smallest airport.
i guess the Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, Leh might be the smallest airport in india
Naini Saini Airport in Pithoragarh , uttrakhand (my hometown) ... you can google the images ... It has only 1 runway and airplanes not bigger than ATR 42 can land in there
it is a mountain region ... hardly any plain area ...so probability of it being the smallest are very high
Ratnagiri airport, Maharashtra
Covers an area of 41 hectares only.
The run way length is 1372 m.

Ash.em Vohum 👤
Heyyy that dude is from Slumdog Millionaireeee
The A380 is an exceptionally big aircraft. Only the really big airports have the runways and the gates to support its operation. You probably meant A318 (they kind of sound similar). Small airports should be able to support A320/B737 aircraft to be able to handle a decent amount of traffic.
can you do a travel vlog for Mumbai, South Goa, Bengaluru and Delhi/Gurugram. I find that the westerns who vlog, don't really give the real picture of "amchi Mumbai"...for example, there is more to Mumbai than Dharavi. Thanks in advance!
Heyyy you missed Kerala. We have like 1,2... yea 3 & 1/4 airports . Drop by via any of our airports the next time you head down south. Will treat you to a wonderful Sadya. Be sure comment & put us on that Map.
P.S - Really enjoy you videos, keep up the good work
HEY! The Kolkata Airport was known as the Dum Dum Airport because it is situated in the locality Dum Dum. :P
I think Port Blair airport is the smallest airport in India.
"Even an A380"? A380 is the current largest passenger airliner. Not being rude or anything but there are plenty of commercial airliners which can land on a runway where an A380 can't. Loved the video though as usual :).
I thought you will tell us about the airport hacks 😣
The smallest airport i've been to in India is .. Tuticorin.. don't know for sure if that's the smallest airport in india
3.5 litre of water for just 3.5 hour flight, must be health issue, or it could be a superstition, please listen to sadguru about this issue.
U haven't mentioned a single word about Bangalore air port, which turned me off, because I am a Bangalorian. Any way its the 3rd largest air port after Mumbai and Delhi
Look people Jollygrant Airport at Dehradun is so small they employ Pigeon and other Birds for Parking Duty.
End of Discussion.
whattttt........ Did I Parked for too long.
ok I live in Kolkata. I didn't really realise that it could be interpreted as "dumb dumb"..... it's dumdum, the name of the place where it is. just saying
Aurangabad airport is the smallest airport in india..there are flights only to mumbai and delhi from there
Jabalpur Airport, Madhya Pradesh
I have seen only 5 airport till now. So, I think Kumbhirgram Airport, Silchar, Assam is the smallest airport.
She is talking about A380, the largest airplane, landing at this airport. Good and impressive wordings for the unknowing. It is a plane for international and big haul.
I think that you don't know about airbus a380 it is the largest passenger aeroplane in the world. So, it's quite obvious that the airbus a380 can't land on the airport in Chennai.
I'm from the United States and I'm going to India next year. I'm going to Delhi, Agra, and Chennai. What do I need to know? (I already have my Visa so I don't need any help with that)
At Bagdogra & Jammu airports baggages are re-checked by the CISF authorities before final loading in the plane & also the baggage onwer needs to be present there after his/her final security check failing to which the baggages are not board even though it has been passed initially at the airline counter.
i live near the dum dum airport the smallest are in the north east Tezpur airport Agartala airport are really small like u can see the Bangladesh from the Agartala airport
IGI is huge and I must say Indian loos are much better than i have seen in Dubai (the worst), Doha, Abu Dhabi, Frankfurt or Milan.

I think there is this airport in Kerala maybe Trivandrum (not so sure) which is literally just one building. I guess that's the smallest one we have here.
since you're using a vlogging camera, you should get a small rode mic for better audio and less distortion. it'll help with the overall quality.
Smallest airport would be in Pasighat or Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh.
I thought the guy with the big belly at 5:55 would jump in and say "subscribe to whack!" 😀😂
I remember once I was going through the roads by the airport in Diu and its walls were so tiny that I could see the plane parked in it and taking off or landing there. I don't have idea about its size.
Patna airport is also very small and conjusted. Bihar gov. please do something.
I think she is talking about A318 [smallest] not A380 [largest]
Pakhyong airport in Sikkim is smallest airport in India....
Adampur airport in jalandhar is d shortest one... Wd single flight operating each day
