Hi Doc ! I am a Dentist from India ..preparing for Australian dental council exam . I love watching the cases you discuss as they are very informative . Keep posting such brilliant content 😊
I'm literally living on these videos these days. Just completed my housejob and these videos are helping in dealing anxiety of not doing anything for now!✨ Thank you so much Dr Faizan
Sir, Sending greetings and good wishes for you.💐✨ Please upload more case discussions like this one.😇 This case discussion is really so helpful, my friends and my juniors told me that they love to watch these case discussions whenever I share these videos with them, they become so happy.😇 3:15 : cent percent agreed. Awareness is much needed.💯 Thank you for spreading awareness, at least the general masses on UA-cam who watch your videos regularly would come to know about such anomalies. Thank you for emphasizing upon creating more awareness amongst the people regarding these orofacial congenital anomalies. 3:28 : I believe that a quick response to any clinical case should be mandatory in the hospitals. If a general physician encounters any case involving orofacial region which needs surgical intervention( after ruling out other conditions), this needs to be quickly examined and should be immediately referred. 5:40 : Thank you for showing and explaining the target sites of the Local Anesthesia administration in the lingual frenectomy procedure.✨ You are such a meticulous educator , you always take care of each and everything while teaching and you always make sure that your videos are more simplified and easy to understand for every person who wants to learn.🤩😄 Thank you for putting in so much effort. Much Appreciation for your work.🙏😇 5:40 : Absolutely right electrocautery is mostly used , laser too is a good option but availability is an issue in O.P.D . 🙄 Sometimes, I feel while working in O.P.D , how come we are always short on supplies of equipment and materials, we do so many cases yet somehow it's difficult to find satisfaction with the outcome sometimes , rather I should say most of the time.🙄 12:45: Thank you for sharing the post op instructions and Tongue exercises. This is actually helpful for the patients and also for all dentists/dental students.✨ 15:14: I truly appreciate you for highlighting this fact.🙏😇 Many dentists do have the tendency to overlook.☝️💯 There is a common saying amongst seniors that I have heard so many times: Most health conditions are either over diagnosed, misdiagnosed and even might remain under diagnosed. It depends upon the Clinician as to how he would reach towards a clear diagnosis and would plan the treatment accordingly. 15:25: Ankyloglosia recurrence is actually problematic. 💯 15:44: So on point .💯 Collaborating with an ENT specialist can help in such a situation.☝️ I know that though it is not needed every time, But sometimes collaboration is required. And, by far this is the most helpful advice in the entire video. 💯 Because many young dentists hesitate a lot when it comes to collaborating with some hospital or any other specialist from the medical field. Efficient communication and sometimes collaboration too is a necessity.💯✨ Sometimes strong referrals are needful in the cases of metastasising carcinomas. The Subcontinent has some of the highest occurrence rates of Carcinomas.☝️ I see such patients suffering on a daily basis.😓 This is why I'm always keen on establishing communication with my friends in the medical field.☝️ As sometimes I need to refer to the Seniors a few special cases , as and when required. Because, I feel that the patient should be treated as a human being , it would be rather an inhumane thing to do, i.e, to only provide dental treatment and leave the patient without caring about the rest of the ailments. Head and neck region is a part of the whole body of the patient. This is something which every dentist must understand.💯✨ While working in the hospital ,on most days I have faced constant chaos, and lack of coordination. Also, effective communication is lacking somewhere. I believe that there can be differences of opinion amongst those who are in the medical field and those in dentistry and this can be there in the dental hospitals as well, this sometimes feels like being in a tug of war like situation. In my very personal opinion ,giving room for healthier discussions rather than sticking only upon arguments is something that needs to be understood and worked upon, this would make the treatment procedure much hassle-free, less tiring and less time consuming for the patients too.☝️💯 Being into the healthcare profession requires an investment efforts and time, and a lot of work goes into contributing to the patient's health and well being. Hence, in a healthier work environment, effective communication needs to be established along with cumulative efforts for the achievement of better treatment outcomes.☝️ Thank you for uploading such an amazing case discussion.😇 Every bit of it was worh watching and as I'm preparing for entrance tests, it was more like a revision for me.✨ Again, thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge and expertise with all of us.😇🙏 May God reward you and all your loved ones with good health, happiness, prosperity and peace.🌟 Best Regards.🙏😇
Sir, Hopefully you are doing well.😇 Thank you for uploading such an awesome case discussion. 🤩🤩 I was equally surprised and happy to see that you have uploaded a very different case this time.😍😍 The simplicity and beautiful teaching methodology is indeed captivating, I can't ever afford to miss any of your case discussions.😃😃😃 5:04: This was beautifully captured , during O.P.D, kudos to the efforts of the camera person who recorded this and thanks to you too for sharing such a beautiful case with all of us.👌✨ 9:33 : Absolutely true ,the type of sutures used is an important factor in healing. Silk obviously cannot be used because of its tendency towards bacterial adherence. Choice of suturing material used and suturing technique is the key factor affecting healing of the incised wound. 9:33 : Indeed a significant change can be brought with a simple surgical procedure in the Patient's life. Speech is actually an important aspect in a person's life. Thank you for gifting this person the corrected speech.🌟✨ Ankyloglosia not only affects speech but also affects occlusion and overall facial aesthetics.☝️ As clearly appreciated in this case too; the lower anterior crowding and because the tongue could not push the lower anterior teeth, also the range of tongue movements weren't enough and frenum was too short and thick ,as a result of all of that; sometimes a bit of mandibular deficiency or open bite can be clearly noticed in many cases like this one .☝️ 12:05 : During the post operative period; Tongue exercises can help significantly. 12:05: This is the most important tip of the entire video.☝️🌟 Complete evaluation is a necessity.☝️ Indeed, if this patient had been diagnosed during childhood, it could have prevented those years of difficulty in speech and could have affected the growth and development and positioning significantly. I must say that providing treatment for a person who needs that treatment and changing the life of the patient in a positive way is an ultimate blessing for a dental practitioner.🌟✨ Thank you for providing treatment for this patient.🙏😇 I too prefer to evaluate the patients completely before beginning any treatment procedure. Before starting with any routine procedures like extractions, fillings etc. I always make sure to perform a complete general examination along with an intraoral examination, even if it is a bit time consuming. Because ,I truly believe that being safer is better than being sorry. And I do avoid taking any risk in the case of patients. Today only, I have referred to my seniors a case of Kaposi Sarcoma that I had diagnosed during my routine work. No one knows what they might encounter in between routine cases , hence complete evaluation is a protocol included in diagnosis and treatment planning that needs to be emphasized upon, but this is seldom followed by most practitioners in the newer generation. Hence, in my very personal opinion complete examination and history taking is very crucial in establishing a perfect diagnosis.🌟 Please keep uploading more clinical case discussions like this one.🌟 It really keeps all your subscribers motivated , and this includes myself.😇😇 Much Appreciation for your efforts.🙏 I can't thank you enough for sparing time to make such helpful videos despite the busy schedule you have.🙏😇 As always I'm sharing this video video ahead so that it would benefit others too.✨ May God reward you and your loved ones with success, happiness and prosperity. Stay Blessed Always.😇 Best Regards 💐
