- This is 2017 model Razor Eco Smart Metro with 18Ah Lithium battery. When selecting the battery, make sure it can give out 30A at peak power. Anything below that, and your battery protector will shut down the electrical system when under load.

This scooter came with the rear trunk and basket. I'ts just a matter of replacing the basket with a trunk box from eBay.
great video. I bought mine used and changed the original battery with a 3 Pack 12V 12 Ah battery. I am amazed with your range, and intrigued with your setup.Did you change anything else within the battery box?
Just pay special attention to the battery you buy, as I mentioned in the video, not every 20ah battery will work. Other than soldering connectors for the battery and making a new charging port, everything is same . Same controller, same power on/off button, same fuse and throttle. Same 36V as original. @@bikesandoutdoors3616 I have to order a new front fork as mine arrived damaged with not only bent wheel dropouts but also a bent fork blade....the left fork tube is bent backwards (probably a manufacturing defect) and appears like the tube was welded to the fork steering tube at the wrong angle so that the wheel will not fit. I noticed in the product reviews on amazon that someone else shared photos of the scooter they ordered which also had similar damage.
@@michaezell4607 Looks like there is a chance to get a 'Lemon" everywhere. I hope you get it resolved quickly. The scooter itself is great :)

I wouldn't know much about that :0. I would assume there are universal ones that come with instructions.

I bought an ecosmart with a dead battery and replaced it with a 30ah li-ion battery and do not get nearly the range you're getting. I did a little range test today (trying to ride conservatively) and got just over 8km of range. Do you think I just need to cruise at a walking pace or could it be something else? I was hoping to get double the range I got.
This doesn’t sound right. Your range is less than it was with standard led-acid batteries giving out only 7ah (3 7ah batteries of 12V making it a 36V system). Maybe a bad battery. Your range should be at least 4x more with 4 times more ah.
How awesome are THESE things right !!!!!!! I just got one. :-) ... and my buddy does CHOPPERZ !!!!! :-D ..... . The Hardest part will be designing my "Ledge" to hold touchscreen.

Just type in 'bike trip computer' and select the one you like on eBay :)
Are you using the same charger?
No. The battery came with its own charger. So I rewired and cut a hole for a new charging port. You can see it towards the end on video.

Can you use a 36v 16ah battery?
I am not sure which exact battery you have in mind. I do use the 36V battery in my setting, but the first battery that I bought was cutting out at peak loads. Basically the voltage and AH of the battery is not everything. The battery has also a built in protection, if the power demand exceeds that limit, the battery will switch off. You would have to switch your scooter off and on again to continue moving. The battery that I had issue with was the blue one square that is popular on eBay. The black one worked for me. I think you need to look at the 'peak output' parameter, or something close to it.
I bookmarked Amazon and saw a black one like yours but only up to 16ah. Same company but it seems they don’t have it at the moment, just 48v. Couldn’t find the 18ah version like yours. Thx for the response. Focusing on BTRpower like you did.

How much is it ?
Mine cost nearly 500 dollars on amazon. It should be arriving on Wednesday.
Mines coming soon got it for 180 (tax and shipping included) from Facebook marketplace
