  • Nothing can beat the Highlands of Scotland🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 on a beautiful winters day! I start my drive just South of the village of Appin in Argyll and Bute.
Join me and take in the beauty of the drive - The Road to Ben Nevis! We drive along the A828 until Ballachulish where we join the A82 which runs through the beautiful Glencoe, Fort William and onwards to Inverness. The A828 starts just north of the coastal town of Oban.
    Sit back, relax and enjoy😀

Did that drive 8 years ago. Stayed at the Fort William Premier Inn and travelled on The Jacobite to Mallaig. Great memories. ❤

That was some lovely scenery. You captured the contours of the hills really well, because of the direction you were travelling in and the sunlight.
I love Scotland but I need to live at the opposite end of the UK. Videos like this mean I can be there without having to go there.

It was a beautiful day Danny. Every part of the Uk has its own unique character and beauty. I for example, love the Cotswolds. Simply stunning.
      Glad you enjoyed the video.
      Thanks :)

I know this well as the West Coast Motors Route 918.. ( I prefer the bus so I endanger no one by driving whilst my neck is on a swivel.)
Perhaps next winter/early spring you can take us from Kyle of Lochalsh to Fort William. That's another favourite that's best done before the trees leaf out and obstruct the view.

Your vids take the edge off my insatiable hunger to be there. Thank you!!
It takes me, on average, 3 years to scrimp and save for the trip across the pond, which I have been doing since '95. (Even suffered through lockdown with you in 2020 - self catering in Kirkcudbright and remaining there because my flight was cancelled, although I made up for it last year.)

It’s weird to see your own house on someone else’s UA-cam video 😂

liked and subscribed.. :) just a quick note.. If you don't intend to overtake keep to the two second rule . because twenty minutes watching the arse end of a coach is way to long :( .. it strongly distracts from being able to relax and watch the scenery as it becomes the focal point of attention . 💯😟

Thanks for your support :) Yes I agree. Unfortunately on that stretch of road there is very few overtaking possibilities, and we had some ice in places. In hindsight I should have pulled in, it would have made a better latter part to the journey.
