Any idea how to get around the 2004 q35 Nats system? Had car towed to dealer(Nissan) and spent over $1,500 for them to troubleshoot and reprogram the key(even bought a second key and they programmed). But once it sits overnight I am unable to start the car. One of the techs said they could bypass the system, but the service manager said they wouldn't. I bought a used steering column off the net and had someone swap out the module. It was bad too... They no longer sell the ignition module for the q35, and no one sells the bypass module anymore since they aren't in high demand.
Am I supposed to be using an aftermarket key for this ? I’m trying to use a oem key that comes with that car , and it’s not working. I’m jamming the key in there over 20 times and still no turn signals. My case broke and just trying to use an aftermarket key fob for it.

This worked for my 04 g35 coupe 6mt about a year ago but my car was sitting for a while with the battery disconnected bc I was working on the engine and the key fob unprogrammed and I’m trying to program it again but it isn’t working. I get the hazards after I put the key in and out 6 times but when I put it in acc and then press the lock button on the key fob I don’t get the hazards
@@quincerunitup it works now bro it was just a bad key fob battery. I replaced the battery on the key fob and tried it again and it works now so I would recommend you replace the battery and try that
@@andresapodaca7095 i tried that, i also tested it with a multimeter and my battery read 2.7 volts (which is practically 3V just as the batteries are made to hold) do you think it could be an internal ECU problem?
@@quincerunitup have you tried buying a new set of key fobs and it still doesn’t work maybe it can be an ecu problem but that would be worst case scenario
Chittychittybangbang! The old remote will still be programmed to your car. I know my old remote i was able to still use it after getting my new ones going

QUENTIN30 CDUB my guess is that the key that fails to start the car is not programed so it wont start till is programed. i have a 04 Infiniti qx56 also one key does not start it but because its not programed. i recomend calling the dealer see how much they charge to program it i havent done it but i need too. and the keyless remote just reprogram it and you should be fine. if its programed try the battery
