"Come over, I have a surprise for you!"
American girl: Netflix and chill, maybe some fried chicken or fresh popcorn if you're lucky.
German girl: Drive the Autobahn, hike up a 6000 ft mountain, have god reveal himself to you in the shape of a Kaiserschmarrn.
The differences are subtle, but they're there.

Ansichtssache. But anyway - Kaiserschamrrn. Ich stimme zu - da geht nichts drüber!

Yes Nalf. Very nice. Like all other Americans you have discovered the south. With all that Brezel, Beer and Lederhosen stuff. But Germany is bigger than "Texas" Bavaria. Please try again the Hamburg experience. But this time make shure that you won't have troubles wth your camera and get a save parking place for your car. And when you then have "Eier in der Hose" you finally eat a Fischbrötchen (not like last time). Adventure? Go with a boat to the Island "Helgoland" when it is very windy or stormy. You will never forget.

I discovered one of my favourite German sayings on a sign at a similar mountain-top Bavarian restaurant: Der Kunde ist König...aber der Wirt ist Kaiser. (The customer is king, but the host is emperor). Both your meals looked sooo delicious, I have now marked that hut on my map! Thanks for great photos.

Berge??

Superb video as always. Cheers from Austria!

Absolutely, positively gorgeous! Great video. As a Child, my fronds and I would pack a lunch and German lemonade in the bottles that resembled beer bottles and hike to the top of the Brauneck, in Bad Toelz. From the top, we could see the Isar river and Flint Kaserne, where we lived, as American Military dependents. It was truly a great life.

Caesar crumble - I could translate it from Hungarian - is also a very well-known dish in Hungary. Maybe even tastier with vegan ingredients.

Check out the Kaiserschmarrn-Alm in Garmisch-Partenkirchen or my favourite the Butzihütte in Innsbruck. Both serve extreme delicious Kaiserschmarrn and for bonuspoints, you have an beautiful sight to the moutains/city of Innsbruck.

nice video, i learned THAT SISSI, THE BEAUTIFUL EMPRESS, ate kaiserschmarrn on her many trips to the mountains, because back then there was only milk flour and sugar in the hut, that's the second story about kaiserschmarrn
