Mike, I honestly think you have made an entire generation of cornhole players improve, enjoy, and understand this game so much better and I have so much respect for you and all of the things you do. You are an inspiration for all cornhole players out there!

Others have commented but can’t say enough how much the finger “blasting” has helped. I think you discussed in former video too.
But it helps a lot, even when other elements of my throw are not consistent it helps get the ba closer to the hole.
I think there is an element of thinking of that, really the second to last mechanism of the throw (baring follow thru) helps the brain shortcut the other thoughts, basically turn off and let muscle memory kick in for the balance of throw movements (hand rotation, arm forward, elbow in, etc) and just to get to the release.
Along with that, I have begun thinking about getting my pinky at the hole.
Just doing these things helps reduce the other variations that may pop up from throw to throw.
    Thanks Mike!!!

Exceptional video. So far, every one of your how-to videos has hit on one of my major weaknesses, of which there are many.

Absolutely game changing for me. Watched this less than a week ago but it has changed my world. I thought wrist rotation was how I needed to generate spin which was causing me inconsistency. This release promotes straighter more accurate and consistent throws at the middle of the board. 3 years into the game. Currently 7.2 ppr looking forward to bringing that up at least to 8 and hopefully even higher. Appreciate you and so thankful I ran across this video!!!

I love the idea of holding closer to the front of the bag for faster, spin, and or closer to the back of the bag to slow spin… A little change might make a big difference. I’ll definitely give it a try.! Thank you!

The thing I think that would make me a better player is having actual boards to practice on. I have those cheap short boards that makes the bags bounce all the time so it's harder to get each bag to stay on the board or even practice shots. I just can't afford my own set of boards.

Go to cornholesolutions.com and check out the scratch and dent section. They have some good deals there for boards that have minor issues. I think my code mike10 will still work on those boards and take a little more off that total. The scratch and dent inventory is constantly changing, so you have to check often to see if anything new gets added.

Good tip. I am continually working on consistency. I would love to have the same throw everytime but it takes a lot of focus. I find I can correct my throw if my arm swing is off on the follow through but the bag fight is less than pretty. 😂

Great video. I didn't think about the finger movements to dictate rotations. That is going to help a lot for me.

I probably do it wrong, I get all my rotation from my wrist.
I have people often say that they love the way I throw though, so at least it looks cool when I front board.

One of the things I suffer with is airmail throwing choice. I cannot decide if I increase my arm further out with a later release, or if I throw it slightly harder? Is there a better way?
