Sweetheart, you are a hard worker. You and Grant do an amazing job on these farm videos. I know it’s way more effort than some people realize. All of us have an admiration and appreciation for the finished product. Thank you! Love ❤️ you, Grammy
Girl you work to hard but I'm proud of you and Grant you both are young and work hard I wish the rest of the younger people in this country would watch you and see how it's done love your videos keep them coming ❤.
Laura and Grant are two of the hardest working people I "know." So awesome to see the next generation of farmers being willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done!
I hate to tell her that the key to her combine and most other equipment is either in my pocket or in my truck being I haul farm equipment around it is handy to have a set of keys. Love your channel gives me a few smiles while I watch you learn and makes me think of my own daughters.
Laura was very tired and hungry, but look at those beautiful green eyes of hers at the 9:51 mark! Stunning! :-) Laura, do like I do with my truck and hunting cabin, stash a few cans of Vienna sausage and a plastic fork in it as an emergency backup snack! Much cheaper than jerky and varmint proof canned.
Grant the green piece of glass you picked up in the field and asked what it was I’m sure you know, It looks like a insulator off a old telegraph poles that went across the land at one time
I really love you Laura. You arealways so positive and happy. But no one can be happy all the time. I am sure that your family and your great husband stand by you in hard times. I want to thank you for sharing your life with us foollowers. We all loveyou.
As I told MN millennial farmer, attaching a 3 foot piece of log chain to the frame of the combine eliminates the static electricity and allows the dust to fall off the windows and the combine itself
love your videos reminds me when i grew up on a potato farm in northern maine work on the farm from sunrise to sunset driving a farm tractor all day in the fields.
Thanks for doing what you do! That you film it and show it on UA-cam was the best find for me on YT last year! I am addicted to this farming girl and hervhusband,
Laura it’s called “A Dad Save” for a good reason! We are always ready to help (and pick on our Daughters) when necessary and we’re willing and waiting to get to share our knowledge and techniques! It’s up to you Daughters (and Sons) to ask because they won’t be listening well until they ask for it instead of us explaining and sometimes it’s just going through one ear (🌽🤣) and out the other! Please don’t be afraid to ask a Dad any questions! We have the answers most of the time! ❤️❤️❤️🖖🏼🇺🇸
Got my shirt today! love it, god bless papa Kurt. Continue to keep it real Laura...really like how Grant notices the little things! lol you need to customize a combine and submit it for patents
Grant will absolutely LOVE the top fuel and jet tractor pulls at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville Ky. in February when he and Laura will be here!
That's all right Laura because I do believe there's only 20 different sets of keys for your tractors and combines I know for cars and automobiles there's 240 different locks and that's what they're using all of them
Princess Laura does not need to fix the combine that is what the workers like her husband and Dad are for. LOL I kid, but that is okay. Women don't HAVE to do the grunt work, they do the truly hard work, like kids, which we need to get some junior farmers on the way guys. :)
Laura/Grant, "Good morning." Great video as always. Your production value continues to grow. I like how you showed getting into the combine at the beginning. Here's a tip. Think abut cutting from 0:50 to 0:55 We should see one action from one view and the instant result from the other. It provides a seemless timeline for you and the audience moves around magically. Keep up the good work and thanks for all the extra effort all this takes!!!!
Hey even the best of farmers make mistakes too but yeah us dads do have that magic touch. Hehe. Thanks for you n Grants great vids. Always brings a big smile to my dial. Farmer fan from Downunda.
Hi. Lookin healthy as ever guys. Assuming the cab has filtered air, it would be a good idea to wait a half minute after the head stops to step out of the cab.. dusty Laura. 😌
Fisher House is my first choice for charity. They are the highest rated by Charity Navigator.....off to buy some tee shirts. Laura, you are the future of America!
I'm really amazed at the mechanization of farm equipment. The ability to mow down corn stalks, strip the husks off and strip all the kernels off and then dump the waste in short order is impressive to me. Farms around me (Mass.) are small not these huge operations and mainly orchards of apples, peaches, blueberries etc. Am I to assume this corn is feed for animals or ethanol?
Love the videos Laura. We are about to plant corn in New Zealand atm. Why don’t you do full cultivation like ploughing and power hoeing when you plant? Ever tired full no tillage?
What is the yield/ha of maize in N-Z, we in France make only between 8t/ha not irrigated and 12,5t/ha when it is irrigated and the humidity 23 to 28%. In France, very little soya, but winter rape 2.5t to 5t/ha and sunflowers. Still a lot of ploughing, only rape and wheat behind rape in simplified (on stubble) minimum-tillage. Frenchfarmer between of Tours-orléans.I look forward to reading you. Daniel 70years.
@@DG-ne8iq Its about 11-12ton/ha. At about 16% moisture before the grain company dries it. Non irrigated. We don’t plant anything else. Interesting to know what @laurafarms and Grants rough yield numbers are. Margins are low so we don’t bother irrigating.
I was thinking I do the same thing with my lawn mower ... cut the "end rows" so I can just turn it around at each end of the yard without having to worry about trimming it all up.
Laura, the world needs a cartoon based on your exploits. My littles would love it! Also you actually look like the inspiration for many Disney characters!! Mean that in a good way LOL
Perhaps this winter, when life slows down, you can do a segment on hedging your crops. Many farmers don’t hedge but you mentioned that you do. Why doesn’t everyone?
I enjoy your videos, Ms. Laura. At 1:24 into the video, I see the red combine, sporting the American flag. GOOD!!! As a Husker fan from Nebraska, I just wanted to ask if you ever fly the Cornhusker's flag, too. GBR.
Seeing how the snoots are made of plastic, can you heat them up (super hot water or air gun) and pop them back in shape like they do on cars? might save a few bucks here and there.
Question from a NON-Farmer. As you (Grant) already claimed from the insurance (and received money back, I think), for the damaged crop, Do you have to give that insurance money back, if you can harvest (even with difficulty, and taking extra time), the wind/storm damaged crops ?. I understand if the crops were totally destroyed, and there were nothing left to harvest, as that is a seperate issue.
This channel is nice but isn't much for replies to comments. If you want a reply to a female farmer go to "Kate's Ag" she personally answers hundreds of comments per video!
You should order one of Kate’s Ag Bags she has! She is wonderful and you should know each other she younger and she Farms with her Father and Uncles. Check her out Laura she has little canvas bags for her channel. She would benefit from knowing you and Grant! 🤔❤️🖖🏼🇺🇸
I like that you keep it honest. I’m a greenskeeper at a local golf course. I tell my superintendent about any significant screwups. And sometimes even minor ones. 😊
**GOD BLESS LAURA'S DAD & MOM = THEY RAISED A GREAT/FINE YOUNG LADY!!!**
One of the joys of being outdoors, you can just openly sneeze and spit everywhere and it’s totally fine 🤣🤣🤣 bless you
It is so nice to see younger people coming back to the farm. I enjoy your videos.
Sweetheart, you are a hard worker. You and Grant do an amazing job on these farm videos. I know it’s way more effort than some people realize. All of us have an admiration and appreciation for the finished product. Thank you! Love ❤️ you, Grammy
That sneeze was intense! Love how you just let it go ❤️ blesses!
Cutest sneeze in the history of UA-cam
You are just sweat. I enjoy watching your farming. I am 75 retired but I grew up on a dairy farm in NC.
If everyone in America worked as hard as farmers, we would have a fraction of our problems.
Sure nice to have this good weather in October
Girl you work to hard but I'm proud of you and Grant you both are young and work hard I wish the rest of the younger people in this country would watch you and see how it's done love your videos keep them coming ❤.
I had a room mate back in the 1970’s who talked about harvesting beans in an open cab. He said the dust was terrible.
Good morning & God bless you . #healourland

Auto steer would also help when dumping grain into the cart on the move.
Awesome daily videos. Ching ching. Your channel is doing great. We have been with you since 15k. Your hair is beautiful in a ponytail.
always be joyful and happy you are a star doll princess
3:05 I love the concentration and the sound of the sneeze ! 😅👍 "ACHIEEEEW!" 🤪👌🤭
You always sneeze like that ? lol. It's because of the dust ? 🤧
Laura was very tired and hungry, but look at those beautiful green eyes of hers at the 9:51 mark!

I bought a shirt last night for Papa Curt. I hope he gets home soon. Blessings.
For today's lunch report, here's Grant! A day of harvesting on two farms and nothing major broke? A goood day.
I bet one Laura is sound asleep she looks like a little angel

Kids don't do DIY, they do DID.
With over 200K subscribers I hope you bust the 500 T shirt goal.
I’m going to wear mine on my lawn combine (tractor) .
Got my shirt today! love it, god bless papa Kurt. Continue to keep it real Laura...really like how Grant notices the little things! lol you need to customize a combine and submit it for patents
Snoots always makes me chuckle, we always called them snouts
Then there's "stocks" and "stalks", too. We won't get into "ruts" or "rut slicing" ...
OOOooohhh, Miss Laura, That sneeze was priceless.
I love your segments Grant. The nitrous button had me cracking up.
Grant will absolutely LOVE the top fuel and jet tractor pulls at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville Ky. in February when he and Laura will be here!

I love how real you are with your videos. UA-cam suggested your channel to me and im happy it did. Keep up the amazing work and stay safe. :)
3:07 Bless you! And bless the rest of your family while I'm at it.
Love the way you done all your daily checks before starting the combine

Tack!
OMG! I thought at first the title of this video said...no SHORTS were harmed in the making of this video...WHEW! LOL
Glad you guys could pick up that down corn. One of the many hassles farmers deal with.
1. Don’t tell us there is a hiding place for the key.
2. Gesundheit!
7/25/23 - Great video Have a good night.

Snoots or snouts, endrows or headlands, well whats in a name, just get the work done 🤣
How's your cooking? Is it something you enjoy doing or more of a" have to" thing?

Bad news doesn't get better with age. It's best to come clean right up front.
That looks like so much fun except when you plug it up.
Great video
