got the chance to run one like that and crank it a lot years ago. Mostly I was running a shovel and a jackhammer and a 450 JD dozer but everybody has to be somewhere. Did you rig up a foot tilt? I ran a 6-B with one.
The turbo was off a DT466. I just bolted it to the exhaust flange and fabricated the piping to get the air from the air filter into the turbo and the pressurized air into the intake manifold. Then it was just a matter of tapping into an oil supply line to feed the turbo and an oil drain to get the oil back into the engine. Not too complicated
Thanks for the reply Dave. From other videos I've watched of 9U's it looks like the turbo increased the power a good bit. Watching you take down trees was not to much of a task compared to naturally aspirated 9U;s .
