You need to get more protection on the dozer, you won’t know what hit you when it happens so fast. No amount of protection is wasted while working by yourself and possibly getting hurt. Great video. Thanks Try running 30w oil in the radiator instead of coolant in the radiator , as long as it stays cool, no more water.

I totally agree, I assume you mean ROPS? Iv been wanting to build some but I need to get it running right before I spend time on that.
Oil in the radiator? Iv never heard that, will the water pump move oil ?

@@99Projects yep in cold weather or short term use it works 20 weight hydraulic oil works also it just non detergent oil. Check with your local equipment guy and question them about your water in the oil issue, they might steer you in the right direction?

Son, after watching this video, you have glacial loom in that old gravel quarrier. I now know why the state county town or village abandoned it.

Sounds like it has a misfire I have couple of those dozers getting water in the engine is pretty common if you don’t keep it covered properly just rain water through the exhaust manifold

I keep my exhaust covered with a 5 gallon bucket still got water in the engine but if you’re having to add coolant then yeah probably sleeve or head problem

@@rudycarlson8245 no, I ended up selling that dozer. More of a project than I wanted to take on at the moment
