D6 9U walkaround

I describe some aspects of the old D6. Hard to hear over the engine.

I own a Cat D6 9U 1957 model also... My Dad was a heavy equipment mechanic, we overhauled engine, rebuilt tracks, took pony motor off and installed a 24v starter.... That monster still runs like a charm........

The 9U was a very good tractor, better balance than some later flat-track D-6's. Decent grousers.

That old rig needs a straight pipe, full blade and 2nd gear! I'd like to knuckle the clutch over on it. Sweet old tractor.
