The bio resin is ridiculous. I have one G-Shock that has bio resin (it happens to be my favorite G-Shock) but the resin band is thinner and doesnt not feel as quality as the normal resin. Its definitely durable but not as much as my King or 5600. I was really hoping they would release a GBD200 updated with tough solar and MB6 but instead they made it a different shape and call it “sporty” as if other G-Shocks aren’t sporty. Come on Casio, i love yeah, just listen to the fans, we will steer you in the right direction.
You g-shock fan I think you mean. This is a MOVE watch and Personally I am actually considering the gbd200 square with a step counter to replace a garmin. You are right on the solar though.
I agree completely. Just give me that better MIP display without all the BS that I don't care about. I'll just wait longer I guess, and it's fine b/c I'm happy enough with my GW-5000U.

I can get they try to compete with smartwatches. Smartwatches for most watch companies are what quartz was to the Swiss, death by 1000 cuts. So go do that, but it does not mean you should neglect your old time customers.
I'm now at an age where I don't want to be constantly reminded of my exercise shortcomings, fitful sleeping pattern, and not keen on being regularly alerted to possible health issues. When my time has come, I'd love to unexpectedly drop dead without any warning, thank you very much.
CASIO SHOULD GIVE MIP DISPLAYS WITH SOLAR IN ALL WATCHES IN COMING TIME.....HOPE THEY LISTEN AND APPRECIATE DEMAND OF THEIR FANS ...

I LOVE GBD-200 but miss solar. And now they release GBD-300 with NO SOLAR! I will buy more GBD-200 when price will drop down!!
GBD 200 is actually cool. grew on me. the design, the minor (just sufficient) smart functionality, the battery. my daily watch now
