I have this bike since February and I love it. I went for the manual version with quickshifter on it and a comfy seat which feels amazing on the long rides. The dual screen thing comes in handy when displaying the navigation using android auto / apple carplay. Otherwise it's a great bike for touring, and if You want to goof around, just take the side cases off and go for it. I was considering Versys 1000 or Triumph Tiger 900 GT, but Honda was more modern than Kawasaki, had longer service intervals (12000km) than the Triumph, and came with side cases as standard all while costing less than both (at least in Poland where i live). Hi DSR Great channel and I wish you all the best. Genuinely. Always nice to see a bike channel popping up on my feed 👍 However I would argue that unfortunately some of the other comments here are correct… a bit of research beforehand wouldn’t hurt! I own an NC750 (DCT) at the moment so can explain as I’m thinking of getting an NT; - Gears change early for better fuel consumption. Simple as that. On “D” the bike wants to give you great MPG and that’s it’s aim. You get a very “relaxed” ride on D - Ride a big longer ride on S1 to S whatever and it all makes sense. You get far better gear changing to keep up with mates no problem. Whenever I am on ride outs I’m always on S1-3 - 2 screens… really is an easy one as per the comments here - I do peak London time traffic riding. The DCT makes total sense when you do a lot of town commuting but also want a fun bike when out of that and also do trips. Honda is selling DCT by the bucket load, hence understanding it is handy - and so on The reason for the prior research before getting on the bike is so that you’ll sound more thorough As an example, when you couldn’t explain why 2 screens and why D drive changing early, it indirectly tells me that the person reviewing doesn’t really know or understand the bike in question… and thus I probably shouldn’t really watch their reviews Anyway, again wishing you all the best. You hate cyclists lol. Most cyclists have cars with insurance.
You should know better than to stir up a hornets nest with comments like this .
Ha ha. You sir have given it a little stir now. So.. if I have a car and pay road tax and insurance I shouldn’t have to do so for my other modes of road transport ?
I would vote for you. 😂
I also hate cyclists 😂
@@DSR1YTim a cyclist and im enraged with the comments on cyclists!!😂totally agree, should pay tax and insurance, and horses should have tax and insurance aswell.and tractors shoupd have to pay tax.have i missed anyone?oh and the electric car lot.
If anyone using anything can cause damage to my car they / it should have insurance. If they are using the road to manoeuvre around they should pay towards the upkeep of the road 🤣🤣.
Especially you MTB tractor drivers out there 😁.
Horse riders, if they take the horses on the road (not like they’ve got enough briddleways to go down ) should have to go back and remove any horse muck from the roads. Dangerous to those cyclists you know.
Tractors. Farmers should have to go back and remove any mud/stones from the road. Again dangerous to all those cyclists 🤣😉
@@DSR1YT feel better now luv?😂
don't take out bad road design on cyclists... if the council cared about motorists they would extend the lane specifically for them or create alternative routes just for cyclists so the traffic does not intermingle... clearly they do not care about motorists so they don't.
Let me guess. You’re one of them 😁
@@DSR1YT it is the flash in the pan moments of unfiltered views that really give clarity to the individual... I ride motorcycles and bicycles and if you cannot appreciate anything on two wheels, what can you appreciate on two wheels? Maybe move to cars.
Its the same old story though, all cyclists probably have a car or a motorcycle.and if they do,thats even more reason why they should have a bit more thought sometimes.not all i stress, just some.and car and motorcyclists aswell.theres bad examples everywhere!
There’s always idiots on every mode of transport from walking up to lorry drivers. 😁
I hate cyclists when they carry on riding side by side when they know there is a car or motorcycle behind them instead of riding single file
Without reading the cycling bylaws. I’m sure it says something along the lines of “ they should be single file where possible. Only doubling up for tighter corners “
I’ve know doubt someone will correct me for being wrong. As stated. I don’t know the exact rules. And I’m not going to search them up. I just know cyclists do my head in 😁
Im pretty sure they can do what they like mate!quite a large amount of people to upset on this subject tbh, most motorcyclists cycle aswell i reckon.or at least half!😂
Ooo ruffled a few feathers with other keyboard warriors, ban cycling on the roads end of lol
@@chrisgibbs1615 hasnt ruffled my feathers, ive been kicking them into hedges for years as i pass.and that was before it was trendy to dislike cyclists!😂
Haha. Always love a controversial view me 😉. I tend to say what others are thinking but don’t want to say. Neanderthal brain over here 🤣
