After so much mixed emotions about potentially fake animal rescues on UA-cam, I am SO happy to see you appear to be actually helping animals and it warms my heart. Thank you for what you do.
I think most folks just assume he has an owner and is just out and about exploring. And there's the whole "cats don't need people" misconception. Add to that an irrational fear of fleas, ticks and rabies. And throw on top of all that, the sad fact that most people just don't care. It's sad but there it is. My little boy shadow kitty (tuxie) started coming to visit me in September cpl years ago. 3 to 5 times a week. First he would eat on the porch but not come in. After a week or so he started coming in to spend a few hours with me. If I saw him while I was out he would run over to me and follow me home for safe place for food and water and potty box. He showed up one nite hours before we got slammed by a viscous snow storm. He's been with me ever since. Vet visit for checkup, shots n microchip. Now he's my happy polite little handsome little man ❤😊
What hurts me is that no one helped this little guy for 5 years. That says a lot for our society. How could you just ignore such a beautiful animal? I'm a man of 51 years old and I'm crying my eyes out.
I know my god I bought Sooty sadly passed now in bin 2 weeks women wanted 30 quid I chucked the money on floor walked out with him I recently found stray it took week but she came to me 7 months on she settled hates my 3 cats 😂very regal I adore her she sleeps next to me with rest on bed my absolute world ❤
As a middle aged male also, I agree with you. I think if more people watched this kind of happy stuff then maybe society wouldn't be so toxic and people wouldn't be so mentally unwell and selfish

Since you've nursed him back to health, he looks much younger than his 12 years. I know vets have to guess at that age and judge by their teeth. Perhaps his teeth were in worse condition because of life on the streets. I pray he's younger so that you have many many years with him!
My Bee is going on 16 and I’m so glad she’s safe here with me. She’s in pretty good health because she’s been well-cared for most of her life. (She was 9 months old when I adopted her from a local vet. She’d been on the streets.) I was thrilled when you said you’d keep him with you. Seniors deserve the best care available, especially a lovely boy like Picasso. 😽
Exactly what I had to do over 4 months ago. Poor cat was feeding with a fox family I’d been feeding for a few years. She was hiding under my caravan, was dirty, not chipped and vomiting plastic packaging where she’d been scavenging. I trapped her and brought her in only to find out she was pregnant. She was such a sweet angel once she’d got over her fear. Vet had to deliver her kittens as she was struggling. Vet said she was hardly a year old herself and would have died had she tried to give birth in the wild. 3 Kittens now 16 weeks, one has gone to a wonderful loving home with an old friend of ours and we’ve kept the Mum and the other 2 kittens. We lost our 2 cats last year at old ages. Seems she was sent to us, bless her. Hard work, but pure joy!
I was so relieved to hear that Picasso would stay with you. You have given him the perfect forever home. He trusts you and belongs with you. Thank you for rescuing him.
I'm so glad that you chose to scrap the adoption plans. Picasso clearly enjoys being with you and in all likelihood, he doesn't have all that long left to live. Far better that he spent his twilight years with the kind lady who saved him from the streets. He's had a rough life, but he will die a happy cat.
Isn't it amazing how the cats we thought we didn't want or had no place for ALWAYS end up being the ones we needed so much and didn't know it until they 'told' us you were supposed to have them with you. Thank you for 'hearing' him when he told you. May you both have many happy days together. ❤
Awwwww thank you for sharing this story. He seems like an absolute little gentleman. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making him comfortable and giving him a home. He loves you.
thank you so much for your herculean efforts on behalf of all of the cats you help and save. i am disabled and impoverished however i do manage to keep my 2 rescued cats warm, loved, provided with vet care and a safe yard.
They were puzzled because, gee, why would someone do something selfless…? There are 2 kinds of people in this world - those who get it, and those who don’t. We need more of our kind… THANK YOU! And thank you for covering the trap immediately… so many trappers don’t realize how important it is to do so…

They are very well produced, I’ve got my notifications bell hit for Tiffany’s channel because the videos are done so well and I’m a sucker for a cat rescue story every time. Such beautiful and physically magical creatures to know, observe and love.
I loved this story of Picasso’s rescue. It was the most enjoyable rescue video I ever watched on UA-cam. Thank you for saving him and letting him live with you in his golden years.
My rescue stray didn't know how to play with toys. I left a big toy mouse in the hall after I went to bed, and then one night I heard quiet little playing sounds. He wasn't sure it was allowed. I told he was a very good boy in my best tone of encouragement and he got the idea and played with all the toys. He too has no teeth, and is missing some tail, and now he has kidney disease. Hard lives tell on them.
Came here after watching the video about Madonna, hearing what a tough life Picasso had before you rescued him brought tears to my eyes. You have a heart of gold, and Picasso is an absolute sweetheart
Oh, poor little soul. I've never understood why some people who aren't deliberately cruel, seem to regard cats as worthless, and able to live alone on the streets.... and then those other monsters ...... the hateful ones who harm cats. Thank you, thank you for spotting this guy. It's nice others feed strays, but these little lost souls need homes. Picasso was gently enough to be an indoor cat. And you saw to that 💞💕💗
Few things make me as happy as seeing a loved and happy and healthy cat or dog , who have homes to call their own with loving people caring for them . I wish I were a billionaire because a huge portion of my wealth would go towards animal rescue and sanctuary and to rescuers like you. These precious darlings only worries should be which toys to play with that day and where to nap in the house 🏡
He had to have been someone's pet at some point. I just don't believe a cat would be that friendly or even alive after 15 years on the street. It's amazing that he even survived the 5 years the neighbors had seen him there. I'm glad he will get to spend his remaining time in a warm and loving home with you. I want to be able to do what you do someday when I have more room in my house. Also I have to say I really enjoy your videos. Not just the cat rescue part, but I think you do a great job of showing and telling the "story" if that makes sense.
Street/community cats in that area start showing ill health at about 5 - 6 years old. It ties in with what residents were saying of him living outside for that long. He did well to survive and I just hope there aren't too many lasting effects. Good luck if you decide to rescue and thank you ❤
God less you, lady - that fire red hair of yours lets them know a woman on fire is coming to save the day. You've given him his best days - and it's so nuch better to have all the good stuff at the tail end of one's life. This is a lovely story with a happy ending, I needed that. Thank you.
What can I say! You are a beautiful soul. I have read many of the comments and I concur. We are all glad that you kept him. He reminds me of my Cuddles whom I miss very much.
There are still heroes in this world. There are so many cruel, selfish people who'd rather hurt the animal, than help. You are the hero Tiffany and we could do with a lot more people like you! Thank you.
Years back, I moved into a house and noticed an old black cat always hanging around it. I learned from my neighbors that the cat's previous owner abandoned him when he/she moved away. As an older cat, the stray would have had a had time competing for food with the younger ones but avoided starving because my neighbors were kind enough to keep feeding him until I moved in. The cat wouldn't let anyone else adopt him but stayed inside and around the empty house by going through a small pet door. No doubt he was waiting for an owner who would never return. It was so heart-breaking to see so I immediately adopted the cat and named him Puma. He was the sweetest cuddlebug ever and brought me a lot of joy. Sadly, he only lived about a year or so longer before passing away from age and illness. Its been 14 years since I lost Puma and I still miss him so much...
Another dear woman on YT who has rescued many cats shared a story where one stray she was trying to rescue started walking away too and then turned around. I'm honestly starting to think there are angels who direct the cats to trust and turn back. It's just amazing how that happens. Lovely story, Tiffany! You rock!💪🏽🙌🏽
And how. On "bad" days, it seems never ending eh. Right there with you. I really want to reincarnate with a much higher income next life so that I can look after more.
@@C.E.Thomas1952 I feel the same way. Except Bee has a pre-nup of sorts. No other pets! I’ve already sort of infringed on that by promising my elderly neighbour I’d take his cat, Inky, if anything happened to him. But I must - I’ve seen cats end up homeless in their senior years because an owner’s died. It’s heartbreaking. No way will I let that happen to Inky.
@@cazbiz9332 I dream of more people in society doing this sort of thing for cats and dogs. All my cats and dogs have been "abandoned/give-aways" etc. And sterilisation too. I am fanatical about this. We can still have a pedigree cat if we want, but why not take a street cat at the same time, for example? It is heartbreaking. I do so agree.
My 3rd cat was a former street kitty. He lived in front of a convenience store for at least 6 months. Then one cold day Dec 2017 he was clearly sick and couldn't eat. I was on my bike, but after sleeping on it I went back the next day with a carrier and told myself "if he was there and if he went in, I would take him." He was estimated about the same age as my bonded pair (4-5) and he had to be quarantined in the guest room for 2 months. He has CKD, and has had dental extractions (except his fangs) and bladder stone surgery, but he's my cuddle bug! He was also matted when he came to my home, but the first vet (evil vet-- we never went back there!) sent him home with me still fully anesthestized so I washed him. I also worried with his blood tests (though he was negative for major diseases), but we'll celebrate our 6th Cattiversary at the end of the month! I can't let him roam outside in Korea, but I do have a rooftop so I take my cats up there in nice weather.
I took in a cat about a year ago that just showed up at the house one day. She actually had a locator chip and we got the owner's information so we called them. The person we called was in Hawaii, in the military and was just divorced. Apparently the cat was just abandoned by his wife who didn't really like cats. The man had no way of retrieving the cat since we are in Florida and he is active military so we ended up keeping her. She is probably around 12 years old and is coloured like a siamese cat with beautiful blue eyes but with long hair. She is such a nice cat and absolutely no trouble at all. I have a couple other cats and she quickly got along with them. One ting people do not realize is that cats are really useful. They will find all kinds of pests and remove them. Everything from mice to insects. And the best thing is that they are not noisy like dogs. They won't just sit there and make noise for no reason.
You know how much I love Picasso, Tiffany, and I'm so glad that you rescued him and kept him. Such a lovely nature, and so easy to love. Thank you for saving this beautiful senior boy xx

Your video made me cry some real tears my friend. God bless you sweetheart. I wish there were more people like you! This is coming from a man that has rescued 11, working on 12.
Tiffany, what a kind soul you are - you've earned your place in heaven 😀. As an old guy myself, it's obvious to see how grateful he is for being so well cared for in his new home. I once rescued a similarly disheveled and matted male cat and, once the vet had completely shaved and cleaned him up, it turned out that he'd been neutered as a kitten and somehow ended up living, defenseless, on the street. He turned into a timid yet friendly little chap but sadly succumbed to a chest infection 2 years later. Nevertheless, those last couple of years were probably the most comfortable and best looked after he'd ever been. Years later, I ended up volunteering as 'cat whisperer' at a re-homing centre in Cornwall and slowly coaxing scared witless inmates into purring lap-cats turned out to be one of the most fulfilling thing I've ever achieved. Well done ❤
@@Fioneenacockeen Thank you for your kind thoughts - I just like animals and feel we should try to make sure they are treated kindly. As to my email 'nickname' it did in fact rebound on me - turns out there's a real Rudolf Ecker in Germany and, as I had nabbed his name, he had to add a '1' to his own email address. Inevitably, I started to receive numerous emails intended for the real Rudolf! I always used to reply saying they had used a slightly incorrect address and I was a Rudolf Ecker from England! Only one nice lady, who had lived for a time in London, spotted the joke and replied that she'd nearly choked on her drink. Just goes to show how a bit of fun helps to make the world go around. Fortunately, there do not seem to be many people named after an other one: Fern Kinell@
What a handsome Tuxedo. Very smart to leave the clipper on as background noise to outfox him. He must have known a person at one time because even in the street he came up to you. You are doing good work in helping the cats.

Sadly, he only lived about a year or so longer before passing away from age and illness. Its been 14 years since I lost Puma and I still miss him so much...
Lovely you did so much for Puma and I'm sure he had the best time of his life with you ❤️
@@rescuecatsmanchester I feel like my kitties will never live long enough for me :(
I'm disgusted by the residents in this neighborhood. Absolutely horrible.
Thank you Tiffany for all that you do ❤

lovely to see this
Thank you ❤
Thank you for your kindness to God creatures.

God bless you Tiffany! You’re an amazing loving soul to care for these beautiful lost beings! I adore cats and it hurts to see so many abused cats!
And how. On "bad" days, it seems never ending eh. Right there with you. I really want to reincarnate with a much higher income next life so that I can look after more.
Thank you ❤
@@C.E.Thomas1952 I feel the same way.
Lovely story ❤ Love from UK to Korea.
Thank you for saving this precious baby!!

What a beautiful happy ending for picasso ❤
I took in a cat about a year ago that just showed up at the house one day.
She actually had a locator chip and we got the owner's information so
we called them. The person we called was in Hawaii, in the military and
was just divorced. Apparently the cat was just abandoned by his wife
who didn't really like cats.
The man had no way of retrieving the cat since
we are in Florida and he is active military so we ended up keeping her.
She is probably around 12 years old and is coloured like a siamese cat
with beautiful blue eyes but with long hair. She is such a nice cat
and absolutely no trouble at all. I have a couple other cats and she quickly
got along with them. One ting people do not realize is that
cats are really useful. They will find all kinds of pests and remove them.
Everything from mice to insects. And the best thing is that they are not
noisy like dogs. They won't just sit there and make noise for no reason.
Lovely that you took her on and that she is so happy with you ❤
What an angel ❤❤❤
Thank you , wonderful ,

Your video made me cry some real tears my friend. God bless you sweetheart. I wish there were more people like you! This is coming from a man that has rescued 11, working on 12.
Thank you ❤ Good luck with your 12th! 🐈
Well done ❤
Thank you. You have done so much yourself ❤
@Rudolfecker: Thank you for the wonderful work you did in helping those cats ❤. I love your name btw 😂
@@rudolfecker7691 😂 That is hilarious.
I completely agree regarding animals too.
What a handsome Tuxedo. Very smart to leave the clipper on as background noise to outfox him. He must have known a person at one time because even in the street he came up to you. You are doing good work in helping the cats.
Thank you ❤
This is amazing! I'm so relieved he has a safe home finally. I'm impressed that he didn't eat the fried chicken 🤣
Thank you ❤ Me too. My heart did stop for a moment 😊
I feel so sorry for these poor kitties. I am taking care of about 5 outdoor cats now. I provide food and a dry place for them to rest and sleep.
