I'm sorry, but do I miss something? The first strike as seen in detail at 0:27 was by no mean a valid yoku datotsu. The hit was done with the lower bottom part of the habu - practically with the sendamaki..! How can this be a valid strike?
yeah i noticed that too...that men hit was so deep no where near the monouchi. and the 2nd strike on tsune so low looks like he was aiming for the ground! his kissaki is literally on the floor.
Use the period and comma key at 0:20 or 0:27 to watch it frame by frame. You will see it better. when its in contact, it's still valid. But the next frame slip off, all the way even pass the sendamaki.
