When I was young I had someone gift me a couple of Kendo magazines, a few years later I found a Kenjutsu Dojo, it's been a significant part of my life since. It is now Decades later and I finally have my Renshi rank. It's ranked by age, not belt.
There is no naginatado - this is just naginata (sport). Yes, there’s kobudo form of Naginatajutsu but the modern sport naginata is just called naginata.
I didn't know there was such a deep history of the naginata! So cool to see these ladies practicing!!

The title.Is wrong as these ladies are practitioners of naginatado not the martial.art form of naginatajutsu. There is a difference.

I did not know this is a women’s sport.
Men do it too :) But definitely has a lot of female athletes!
