Bro after i watched your video, i went ahead and did some digging to see if I got that 52% and/or 56% hp boost when i found out that i have a ewg20i n20 like you I went nuts I know how to tune, just saving money for bm3 tune, super exited!! not everyone has a 320i like me and you so this was a good reference and what to expect! I’m getting a 320i 2015, watching your video made me very excited to bm3 mine as well but here’s the question, what engine mods should i do first before I tune ? Other than intake and charge pipe ?

I've got a 320i x drive touring estate, I had a stage 1 and results are good, 0-60 = 5.9secs top speed 168mph,184bhp to 275bhp, thinking about a stage 2.
I’ve never done tuning before. Is this still good to get for my 320i and do I need to install or modify anything in my car before I purchase this?
I literally am excited for you! I want to know what your gas mileage average has been with the re-map... I mean I want to be a bit faster but currently with 93 octane living in the Midwest ... I would like to keep my 38MPG Highway I have been getting or at least keep around that number. Thanks!
Well, I have not driven moderately, ha! So, with that in mind, I am currently at 21mpg. I might do a video on my overall gas consumption with Stage1. Thanks!!

Well, I'm not pushing it too hard yet! I want to upgrade a few more parts before I track it, or drive it too aggressively. Though, it is the same engine as the 328i. This is my daily, and so far on day four, it's excellent! The tune is adjusting to the way I drive. It also helps that I have an intake and Inlet pipe from MST. If you do want any parts, contact Kies Motorsports, they are pretty Rad 💯🚀🔥
RAD BAVARIAN the 320i and the 328i has the same engine block but not the same piston mate. The compression ratio itself is different.

Okay, so how much did this cost? And is it just hooking the cable to the laptop to the car? I'm totally interested now. If we added 50 or so HP to my 240i...well, that would be fun. :p

If ur going stage 1 u don’t need any of that the only thing I would say is maybe a charge pipe to play it safe. If you’re going stage 2 get a downpipe
What else is done to ur car? I have a cold air intake on my 2014 320i and I’m looking at getting a catless downpipe then tune (trying to convince my parents to let me get a muffler delete lol). Do u think I should get the tune first then work from that or get downpipe then tune? Car sounds amazing can’t wait to get mine sounding as good!
Hey! So, if you're interested in a downpipe, you might as well get Stage2 from BM3. That would give you a ton of power, and it's required for Stage2, that and an intercooler. With Stage1, I felt a huge difference for sure, but currently, I'm addressing the added stress of other parts due to extra boost. My next upgrade is a Charge Pipe and possibly an AWE exhaust.
How much hp did you get with the stage 1 on dyno run? im about to tune mine tomorrow it will be about 250hp. I couldn't believe how good your cars sounds, i hops i will get the same results
Thanks! Well, PTF states an 86hp gain. So, once I have more bolts on ill take it for a Dyno run.
@@RADBAVARIAN i have tuned my car now and the dealer told me that if you add pops and bangs it will harm the turbo. Insted i have now 250 hp witch is a balanced hp to not harm the turbos and engine.

I believe with the tech now, you can do it more efficiently. Before you needed an OBD to Ethernet to a Wi-Fi modem which was a simple setup too

Hey bro, is n20 ? If so, considering the timing belt problem for most of 320s what’s your take on this and how reliable is the car after the bm3 because I’m a little hesitant to do mine
Well, I have had BM3 stage1 for over 4 months, drove it over 1,000+ miles and ZERO issues. Just maintain it, replace parts that would need to be changed like: diverter valve, charge pipe, inlet, etc. and you should be fine.
So I’m installing an intake, charge pipe, boost pipe, and diverter valve in my engine. Will this be safe with a stage 2 tune?
I would say possibly change out the intercooler as well. I have those same mods but waiting in that one part before I push stage2. I wouldn't want to be on limp mode, lol
Hi, do you think I should use octane 93 instead of 91 after doing the stage 1 as I heard of some people's worrying about causing damage of the engine?
A higher octane could help, but also you have to have the right tune.

Hey bro, I always feel somewhat jerky at low speeds for my f30, especially in the 1st/2nd gear range (most notably up to 20mph). The car seems to pull back at times when I would expect it to transition smoothly. Did this tune solve this problem?
Well, my guess, jerkyness (rough idle) could be spark plugs. I got my 320i serviced (sparks, oil change, etc.), then I tuned it. It tends to have a rough idle as well, but I believe it's because I might need to swap my sparks to a 2step colder to keep up with my tune. To answer your question, my tune did somewhat help, but changing sparks can also help you too. Maybe even check your air filter.

I had a straight pipe but then installed the AWE exhaust suite. I was also running the MST intake, got both from Kies Motorsports 🚀

Did you get burbles/pops before the tune?
I got some, minor ones when I deleted the muffler and resonator. Now, it really pops!
What mods do you need to do to be prepared for a stage 1 tune?
Hey! I have a video on that as well. I would say at the minimum a charge pipe then work on your airflow and fuel.
Are the burbles safe for stock cats?
Yup! Or you can delete it too lol 😂

If I got a Thornton bmw performance chip that plugs into the OBD2 port and I unplug it for the check ups, will it stay in my ECU and then see I had a chip tune?
That is a great question, I am not too sure to be honest

I had an Intake, inlet pipe, muffler, and resonator delete. My goal, probably to reach the limit in power for the N20 motor. I want to discover how much power it can handle

It's a combo of things; intake, diverter valve, inlet, exhaust 🙏
