That was the very first thing that struck me! I said to myself, "OWNED not OWN baby girl, past tense🥺"
I was just telling a friend that I still sometimes use present tense in reference to my own trauma and that it bothers me when I catch myself.
She doesn't even seem to notice/hasn't started healing. I hope she's okay as well!!😔

He scared her. He's in control. She knows her pimpis more powerful the the nations police, let alone Dr. Phil. That's why she's saying owns me VS owned or demanded I feel owned. He pimp feels she's loyal enough. She's hoping he sees she's still loyal and doesn't harm her further if he recatches her. Stalking, hunting - these are psychological and physical dangers.
👹 CHILDHOOD MEMORIES! This is a reminder, of my father getting me to hold the axe for him, as he butchered chickens, ducks and rabbits. And his telling me, that if I didn't stop telling people - what he was doing to me and my sister's. That he would tie me down, cut my head off, or cut me open and gut me - or skin me alive! AND PEOPLE WONDER WHY I HAVE C-PTSD!

Her stories are things that Do happen to ppl. I believe most of what she says but, something isn't sitting with me about the age thing.
If she currently has no idea how old she is, and only guessing based off of Facebook 90s toy references...then how can she remember what age she was when recalling all these past instances?
She said one thing happened when she was 4. Then she remembers something when she was 2.
How could she possibly know that?
And everytime she says what age she was, Dr. Phil makes sure to remind her that: Youre guessing right? Because you didn't know how old you were right?
Then she says, oh yes! I'm guessing.
It almost sounds like she's being fed lines. 🤷🏾♀️
Maybe they're tryna put some extra sauce on her story. But there's no need for that.
Just 1% of what she went through is horrific.

I don’t understand why they don’t give the list and names of these traffickers and the people who use them. I found out her name is Kendall Alaimo and she is a huge advocate. Should read the story of how difficult it is for her to go to school, even tho she’s been accepted bc she owes traffickers money!!

A lot of really good info in her story if you research her name ( Kendall Alaimo) & all the struggles that come with this. Just getting medical ( comes/huge debt), education ( can’t get into school even tho accepted) bc they have debts to their traffickers! It’s insane. Interesting read & scary

She escaped 3 yrs prior but they still owe the traffickers for “freedom “. Traffickers have their birth certificates, visas,doc sec numbers etc. ruining their credit on top of everything else

Trauma can numb people. Everyone reacts to trauma differently

Not all people react to trauma with tears. When you’re put under extreme stress for an extended amount of time, your body “pauses” your emotions during that time to where you either have a hard time remembering or have no memory. Do not invalidate this poor girl. She’s been through more than you can imagine.
To add, if she were to cry, you’d probably go “look at those fake tears.”
Thats all you should expect, if thats your normal your whole life, day in day out, then its normal. It she did overreact and cry then id suspect this being fake
