Love the ombre fabrics. Also like how you addressed the pressing issues. Easy to understand. Cleared up the issues of aligning triangles to sew accurately!
I love variegated/ ombré fabric but never know how to use it. This makes me want to buy this fabulous fabric with confidence! Rob you are sew fun to watch. Keep it up!
I really like the ombre' fabric too. I am happy that you have found this hobby in your recovery. You are truely funny to watch and make all your tutorials informational as well.
Such a fun quilt with fabrics that make it look more complex. You were my “dinner date” as I watched this while enjoying my meal! Thank you, it was a delight!
did I miss the giveaway from last week? maybe I'm a week behind. I'm loving this ombre quilt! had to download it immediately. Thanks Rob? this is one I'll have to watch over and over. 🌈
I am trying to make this quilt right now. So confusing, due to lack of a notched point on my ruler... (didn't even know that existed) and also the pattern isn't clear about the dark to light (chasing the light) so without this tutorial I don't think I could have figured it out without MANY mistakes! Thanks!
i love ombre, too! The colors take my breath away!! Love this quilt! It would be really helpful if a list of what was needed to make this project was provided in a "what you need for this project" (how many yards of this and that. . .) in the comments below the tutorial. Love that the pattern is FREE! Thanks Rob, I appreciate your enthusiasm!
Thank you, I have been very busy in other parts of my life and have not had time to watch your videos. Your energy and talent are inspiring. I have downloaded the pattern and it talks about 10.5 inch triangles and I think you said you used 8.5. I guess this pattern will be easy to enlarge or scale down.
Actually, there was an issue with your website recently, we had made a change to use the 8 1/2" size. Please use 8 1/2" if you go bigger you will not get 6 + triangles from each strip - and you need 6 per strip.
I think it might just be that simple, however, you made still need to add a border or two to make the size fit, but my quick calculations say you are real close and ready to. rock your King Size quilt!
Same here. I did find a Burkholder Fabrics in Denver, PA that has it, but I don't know anything about this company. They have a Facebook page. Wish I knew enough about sewing and fabric to open my own shop! Not a good idea for this number-challenged and way over the hill lady.
@@cjshadow-o2k I am very hesitant on order from companies I don't know or a friend knows about. Not at any of my normal places or websites. 😉 I will let you know if I find a place I trust that has it.
@@emily-is-here I debated on that one but didn't want to from dark light and dark again. I like the one he showed for my project as just from dark to light with a flair. I found some uncorked fabric along with another line. Ordered today so I get in time, since orders are taking so long to get to you now, I wanted to make sure I got it in plenty of time. :)
I am finally getting to catch up. I love this. I do not have a local shop that carries Michael Miller. Where can I buy it? Thank you. Happy Thanksgiving 🍁
Hi Rob this is your new friend from South Florida! I want to know how I can get yardage of that ombré . I am in the middle of a project that will benefit from it. Thank you
Nice quilt. Why did you do your quilt smaller than the pattern? According to the pattern instructions you cut the strips to 10 1/2 inches and use the 12 1/2 ruler.

Every time if find something I want to make, I can never find the fabric. Where can i get it all in one order?
equilter.com in Colorado has the fabric; I ordered from them several times and the service is great.
I am in Australia, will the material become available here , please?
So Rob.... Who Won the giveaway?
Love the ombre fabric!
Dana Lee was our winner, glad you love the ombres Carl, they are awesome
Esses tecidos são lindíssimos, enviam para Portugal?
What machine are you sewing on today?
Love the colors!!!! Is there a black to white Ombre??? I think that would make a neat border.
There is a Gray version I will be using next week, but not true Black to White - Fun Idea for next set of colors, Thanks!
What was the rule you used. And what type of iron is this that your using
I like the look
But would need it in king size
So I guess just triple the amount of fabric/blocks ? Could it be that simple?
I think it might just be that simple, however, you made still need to add a border or two to make the size fit, but my quick calculations say you are real close and ready to. rock your King Size quilt!
I love those fabrics can I order them just from Michael Miller or do I have to go to eBay or epsi
Best to contact your local quilt shop and ask them to get them for you.
I’m trying to buy some ombré bundles. Where can I find it. Been looking and seem to find it. Help!

Shabby Fabrics carries this fabric. They also have a UA-cam channel. www.shabbyfabrics.com/Michael-Miller/Ombre-Border.aspx
I believe that ombre that shabby fabrics has now is not the same design but is absolutely gorgeous anyway.

There was an error originally , the pattern was swapped, but then was reloaded, yikes - definitely 8 1/2" triangles.
is that a 60 degree ruler?
yes
No matter what I do I can't get to the website.
