My Honest Ranking of Luiginary attacks. (MY OPINION.) 6.Luiginary Typhoon: *Who Remembers this Attack? NOBODY! He'll, Somnom Woods as a while is forgettable, I never got the attack pieces for this, but it sucks, it could've been something else. 5.Luiginary Ball: *The 1st Luiginary attack you get And it's better than the Last. Sure, it does Stuff (unlike the typhoon) but I'm NO fan of gyro Controls, if they did what they did to the drop chopper in Paper Jam , it would've been 4 on my list. 4.Luiginary Stack: Idk about this one, I never used it after I got Luiginary hammer, I called it the "Upgraded Jump" Bc it does the same thing as the normal Jump [in the dream world] and its hard to get excellents with this which F'd my 100% excellent run (where if I get one non excellent I restart) so it's 4. 3.Luiginary Hammer: This Attack is good, don't get me wrong, but its made for one enemy and its Shockwave does a Hundreth of what the Actual attack does, and when I did big massif X, THIS CARRIED. 2. Luiginary Flame *This is the Fire and Boy does it Burn! Its does Good Damage to all the enemies and CARRIED me during the elite trio fight. Shame it doesn't inflict Burn tho. 1.Luiginary Wall. Good F#king damn this is OP, it does Hella good damage to all and did justice to me during the kamek fight. It's Average BP cost and high BP amount ment spam hell (unlike the typhoon,) this is a good Luiginary attack in general. Thanks for reading (if you did) And hey @Shroob Invader heart this comment if you Liked it :)
yo really late comment here but i have to be honest, in all mario and luigi games i have never managed to get much use out the bomb derby ,its the only bros attack in all games that i still strugle with when using it
I agree with the list for the most part. But, having played them all on emulation, with trashy tilt controls, my list would change drastically: 16: Slingsniper - On an emulator, it is virtually impossible to even get an ok. The expert challenge was extremely difficult, and I only got it because of Pi'illodium's massive hitbox. 15: Star Rocket - This almost was the worst, but it deserves to be the penultimate, simply because it is a bit easier, and I can get a Good somewhat consistently. Apart from that, it is just terrible on an emulator. 14: Dropchopper - Same ranking as yours. This is slightly better, and I can actually get an excellent sometimes, but apart from that, it is just annoying. 13: Jet Board Bash - This one has much better controls, which is the only reason it ranks higher than Dropchopper. Very inconsistent Excellents, and not that fun. 12: Luiginary Ball - The last attack with these terrible controls. I rarely ever get an excellent with this attack, but it ranks higher than Jet Board Bash simply because I can consistently get a Great and I actually use it in battle. I used Jet Board Bash only on Pi'illodium and on the few enemies before him. 11: 3D Red Shell - Yes, on emulation this is worse than the 3D Green Shell. Why? Because I rarely ever have the need to use this attack, since I've got 3 other attacks which I can get consistent Excellents on. 10 - Luiginary Stack - You're completely right about the fact that this attack is pointless after you get the Luiginary Hammer. It is also annoying to do, which is what puts it before the next attack. 9: Bye Bye Cannon - I rarely ever use this attack, but it is much better than the Red Shell. This attack is most useful in bosses, but Bomb Derby is a better alternative. 8: Luiginary Typhoon - It does a lot of damage, and is easier to get an Excellent, but apart from that, I mainly use Luiginary Wall when grinding. There is no need to use this attack, other than the fact that the Luiginary Wall gets kind of repetitive and boring when grinding, so interchanging between the 2 makes grinding a bit more fun. 7: 3D Green Shell - Finally. Since the only other attack I can use is Fire Flower and sometimes Dropchopper, this attack is very necessary when grinding, especially expert challenges. Say, for instance, you are trying to get no hitter 52 (fire bros), and there are 3 fire bros. You want to kill 2, so you only have to dodge one attack. Mario used his turn to heal give luigi some bros. points. If you jump or hammer, you will only kill one, if you use the fire flower, you might kill all 3 or neither of them, and if you use Dropchopper, you might fail and it also only damages one enemy. Star Rocket and Slingsniper are almost impossible, so you don't use them. So, you use the Green Shell, and once you've kill 2, you purposely fail (to avoid the possibility of killing the last one), leaving one fire bro to attack. There is never a scenario like this with Bye Bye Cannon, Luiginary Stack or 3D Red Shell, and I have a *small* reason to use Luiginary Typhoon, so I think this ranking is justified. 6: Luiginary Flame - Also useful during grinding, since it is much quicker than the other Luiginary attacks (Wall and Typhoon). It is a great alternative for Luiginary Ball when grinding. It isn't the best attack to use in boss battles, but it does do a lot of damage; much more than the Green Shell. 5: Luiginary Wall - This attack is very good in both boss battles and grinding. It is better in boss battles with more than one enemy, which the only one that you have it unlocked for is the 3rd Kamek Boss battle. It is great for the elite trio in the battle ring, but it isn't the best attack for solo bosses. 4: Zee Egg - This attack is mainly good for boss battles; when grinding, quicker attacks that damage multiple enemies are much better. The only boss battle you can use it in after unlocking it is Dreamy Bowser, which it isn't even the best attack to use on. Even so, it is a very powerful attack, and requires work to get. I personally think getting all of the Pi'illos is good, and I'm glad the game rewards you for it with this attack. It also is a fun attack to pull off, and is very useful in the battle ring. 3: Fire Flower - Yes, the Fire Flower is the best Luigi attack, and in the top 3. This is only because this ranking is based on my experience with an emulator. This attack is quick and and damages multiple enemies; great for grinding. It also is the most powerful attack that I can consistently pull off with Luigi. It is terrible for bosses though, which is why it is not number one. 2: Luiginary Hammer - Very useful in most if not all of the dreamy bosses you face after collecting this attack. It also is useful in the battle ring and is very fun to do. It isn't the best for grinding, which is why it isn't number one. 1: Bomb Derby - Take everything good I said about the Luiginary Hammer and the Fire Flower, and you get this attack. It is great for the battle ring, great for grinding, fun to pull off, very quick and I can consistently get an excellent. It also is very powerful when you're over-leveled like me. It can finish a battle in one turn, making grinding a lot quicker and less tedious. It is a lot more powerful than the Fire Flower, making it better. It doesn't have gyro controls. This is why Bomb Derby is the best attack in Dream Team on an emulator (and Slingsniper is the worst). I've learned my lesson to never play Dream Team, or any other game that relies heavily on motion controls, on an emulator ever again.
@@ShroobInvader. Recently, I have returned to this, and have been grinding the Star Rocket to finish the expert challenges. And the pain and torture I went through in the process is indescribable, but I think I'm going to revise this list with one simple change. Star Rocket is the absolute worst. I very much regret not screen-recording this, because explaining the insanity I went through to get an excellent on Star Rocket is not an easy task. To activate gyro controls, I have to hold down the right-click button of the mouse, and then move the mouse in the direction I want the character to go. Now, the rules for Star Rocket are: moving the mouse left=up and right=down. Pretty simple, until you actually move the Star Rocket up (or down). Due to how sensitive the controls are, you will just go completely full throttle in that direction, and once you decide you no longer want to go up (or down), and you move the mouse in the opposite direction, instead of going back to neutral like it was before, the Star Rocket will now start going down (or up) with similar enthusiasm. Also, the controls are very jagged, so there's no gradual turning, it's just the Rocket going abruptly up or down. So, as soon as you need to go either up or down, you can no longer go straight. You're going to be either going diagonally upwards or diagonally downwards for the rest of the journey. You're just going to have to keep moving your mouse left and right to prevent yourself from crashing into the ground or staying atop the screen and missing all of the stars. However, there is a strange exception to this. Essentially, if you move the mouse ever so slightly left, the Rocket will go slightly up and then will return to being straight instead of diagonal. This exception only works when you want to go up, but not down, for some fey reason. This results in another strange thing. If you did what I previously described, then when you next move downwards, no matter what, you will keep going down if you let go of the mouse. If you move up, you will keep doing so until you let go of the mouse, and then you will go back to descending, unless you move up again. This is exceptionally strange, and learning how all of this works took ages. I don't even think I understand it fully despite spending nearly an hour constantly reloading the same savestate to make practicing it quicker (if I'm going to endure the downsides of emulating this game, I might as well make use of the upsides). But surely it's not very difficult to just move the mouse left when you want to go up, and right when you want to go down, even if you can never go straight on? And while, yes, this is true, having to constantly move up and down, even when the star is right in front of you, requires exceptional reaction time, especially since every other second you're moving the Rocket up or down. Too difficult for me, so I just memorise the placements of the stars (which always stays the same since I'm using a savestate). Moreover, sometimes the game doesn't register your mouse movement, and it is very frustrating when this occurs near the end of the attack, and you have to retry through no fault of your own. And, there's one last issue I've yet to discuss. There is a way to get the Star Rocket to behave normally, and not so abruptly, when you move up or down. The issue is, I don't know how to do it, so I practice in such a way that I don't need to do it. But, sometimes, I might accidentally do it, and it completely messes up everything, since I'm not prepared for it to happen. Due to how inconsistent it is, I don't know what makes it randomly happen, and when it does happen, it happens for like a second, and then it returns to how it was beforehand. So, it's absolutely useless, and just another thing that makes the gyro even more confusing than it already is. So, how did I do it? How did I get an excellent with the Star Rocket? Well, thank goodness this isn't Paper Jam, or I'd have to do this another 4 times, but I did the following: I took advantage of the aforementioned exception that if I move up just slightly then the game will go slightly up then return to being straight, in order to grab a star that was slightly out of reach. And then, once I had to move down to get another star, due to the other rule, I only had to move the mouse left afterwards when I wanted to go up, since the Star Rocket automatically kept moving down. This halved my issues. I managed to not encounter the stupid issue in the previous paragraph, and once I thought of this strategy, I got excellent within the next 5 minutes. It took me almost an hour of trial and error to figure out that strategy. Hopefully, you understand what's going on. Why am I telling you this? Because I am traumatised from this experience and need someone to talk to about it. This is a relevant place to do so, so why not? But maybe this has given you a glimpse of how bad the gyro actually is for Star Rocket. It's ok for the rest of the gyro bros. attacks (Slingsniper, Dropchopper, and Luiginary Ball), except that it's way too sensitive, but at least it works as intended. But not for Star Rocket. Learning how the gyro for Star Rocket works on my emulator could be a University course if it had any use.
Hammer just seems like a direct downgrade from stack to me. It took ages for my to get decent at it and even then I could never reach semi-consistent excellents.
@@ShroobInvader To be honest, i didn't play any of the 3DS games,(even though i really want to) but in like Bowser's Inside story, i can do excellent attacks with the Green Shell, and i'm not very good with Fire Flower. So, like in the Scutlet fight, i use the Shell instead of the Flower since i'm better at it, and it's slighlty cheaper than the Flower. And i'm not very good with Jump Helmet too. I can surely get an excellent on it, but not doing all jumps in a row. I have to do save states(because i play on a DS emulator) between each jump(yes you have enough time to do that). That means the real replacement for the Shell would be the Woo-hoo Cannon(i believe that is what is called) which is the 2nd attack i can legitimately do an excellent. A bit harder, but still can do.
@@ShroobInvader One attack i do the same thing with what i do with Jump Helmet is the Mighty Meteor. Yes, i save state every time i hit the meteor. But it's easier than with Jump Helmet, and better to do since you can get items like 1-up Deluxe, Max Nuts or even Star Candies which are probably the best item in the game. But we are not done yet. There is another Bros. Attack that i need to to that. The Spin pipe. I'm not good at it at my own. It goes so fast and a lot of times. I just can't keep it up. I have to do Save states between the pipe spins and just press a random button to see if it's the correct bro. One attack i can do kinda well/not struggle so much is the Falling Star. To guarrantee, i save when one of the bros. is holding the star. Then if i don't do very good, i can load state and throw the Little Stars at the correct place. Then i can get 2+ clusters of stars to fall in the boss' head.

I have a request did you like the rtyhtm mushrooms from giant battles? I am bad at the Luiginary hammer.
Luiginary fire is super underated. it's the easiest to not screw up on .
I agree
It would be interesting if a Tier List could be made of all the Bros Attacks of each game.
That would be pretty cool and I feel like that would be easier than ranking EVERY SINGLE ONE just because there are the repeats like shells and fire flowers
@@ShroobInvader Thank you. I say this because I have searched for Tier Lists of the Bros Attacks and there are none yet.
I feel like someone had to have done that by now. That’s kinda weird
@@ShroobInvader The best bros attack/item is Copy Flower.... Just get a massive combo that reaches as high as 3000 and BOOM. strongest attack in all Mario and Luigi. It's why the devs got rid of it. They couldn't keep it as it got too strong. That's why the shroobs have a cameo in BIS. They are the ones who gift us the Mirror attack as it is basically Copy Flowers younger brother. They wanted it to keep going.
@@ShroobInvader Why Not just rank them all together? They have a very similar mechanic.
“Why would you use the key board bash over the zee egg?” Simple. Cause getting the zee egg take quite a while to get. Also the jet board bash is basically guaranteed to kill any enemy you hit it with. Then again I can consistently get excellent so that’s probably why. Also why would you use any attack over the zee egg?
Yeah I’m really consistent with the Zee Egg as well as that there isn’t a unique ability that makes me want to use the Jet Board Bash over the Zee Egg. Check out the Fire Flower if you want to know what I mean by a unique ability to a Bros item
My Honest Ranking of Luiginary attacks.
(MY OPINION.)
6.Luiginary Typhoon:
*Who Remembers this Attack? NOBODY! He'll, Somnom Woods as a while is forgettable, I never got the attack pieces for this, but it sucks, it could've been something else.
5.Luiginary Ball:
*The 1st Luiginary attack you get And it's better than the Last. Sure, it does Stuff (unlike the typhoon) but I'm NO fan of gyro Controls, if they did what they did to the drop chopper in Paper Jam , it would've been 4 on my list.
4.Luiginary Stack:
Idk about this one, I never used it after I got Luiginary hammer, I called it the "Upgraded Jump" Bc it does the same thing as the normal Jump [in the dream world] and its hard to get excellents with this which F'd my 100% excellent run (where if I get one non excellent I restart) so it's 4.
3.Luiginary Hammer:
This Attack is good, don't get me wrong, but its made for one enemy and its Shockwave does a Hundreth of what the Actual attack does, and when I did big massif X, THIS CARRIED.
2. Luiginary Flame
*This is the Fire and Boy does it Burn!
Thanks for reading (if you did)
And hey @Shroob Invader heart this comment if you Liked it :)

15: Jet Board Bash
14: 3D Red Shell
13: 3D Green Shell
12: Luiginary Stack
11: Zee Egg
10: Bye Bye Cannon
9: Fire Flower

7: Luiginary Wall
6: Bomb Derby
5: Slingsniper
4: Luiginary Ball
3: Rocket Star
2: Luiginary Hammer
1: Luiginary Flame
WOOOO! Luiginary flame fan!
I agree with the list for the most part.
But, having played them all on emulation, with trashy tilt controls, my list would change drastically:
16: Slingsniper - On an emulator, it is virtually impossible to even get an ok.
I can 100 percent see why you would hate some of these especially on an emulator lol, good list :D
@@ShroobInvader.
Thanks for the heart and reply :D
8:46 I don't have the Zee egg, and still don't have it, is that a good reason to use the jet board over the Zee egg?
Hammer just seems like a direct downgrade from stack to me. It took ages for my to get decent at it and even then I could never reach semi-consistent excellents.
Fair enough, I can’t do that with Stack but I can easily get excellents with the hammer
@@ShroobInvader exact opposite for me lol. After dreamy wakeport (trying to get the tour) I have used it about 80 times and I get consistent at it.
Personally i really like Luiginary Attacks
So do I, I think that it was the best way to include bros attacks into the Dream Worlds
@@ShroobInvader Yeah, and the Luiginary Typhoon is the worst i think
@@ShroobInvader Yeah, and the Luiginary Typhoon is the worst i think
SO HARD TO CONTROL
12:35 Wouldn't it be also useful for Pi'lodium beacuse have to take out the wings?
You could, I could see why you would see that, but I think I used Bomb Derby to take out the wings
For me the worst Bros Attacks are all the attacks using Gyro Controls 🤮, if you could turn them off I wouldn’t mind
11:53 Because i'm better with the shell than with Fire Flower?.
Really? Eh I guess you would have that practice from Dream Team so it does make sense
Ok that makes sense
Wow you are not good at BiS
