Cakewalk already updated the dmg calculator, Argenti Weapons at +80 with atk5 are about on par with a No fixa Neos Astrean at +80. catch up gear, nothing more
The free heavily upgraded equipment you get just by having classes at lvl65+ and being character based wound up being the fastest and cheapest upgrades for both of my characters. I log in to get the armor and main class weapons, then I switch to my sub-classes for those weapons, finally I fused the weapons into the multi-weapons that work for my play-style (I repeated this for my other character and done), I think I will be set on gear for a while since I don't bother with the try-hard based content. Sega finally did something right for an event and that everyone actually likes, most of the old pre-made event gear usually had a junk augment that needed to be swapped out or the items were limit broken but not fully enhanced.
there is one little thing about the argenti/eftistant set: for some reason those cannot be used as enhancement material, you see... except for a very few cases, i always use the previous weapons and armors as enhancement material for the newest ones, and since technically the free set is lower level compared to my current set (versch/octo) that i'm still leveling then i planned to use it as material... but it didnt work.
The update was great for me, finally getting better gear to use, free emotes when i logged in. Used the selector ticket for 100sg and then the special scratches got me another one so i netted about 320sg just for turning up =3 Did forget about the gold primm exchange and sold a bunch to make room for stuff but i had so many its not a big loss. I'll get to the rest of the content eventually...
So if I hit 65 with gunner and get the free gear I have to make a completely new character and get that one to 65 to get free gear for another class? Or can I get all the gear for every class on one character your wording was a little ambiguous
Speaking of classes, do you know any content creators who specialize in Ranger here at YT? Because I have some doubts about the custom PA that arrived recently! Thank you!
Ranger main here and I feel your pain. Idk if there's ever going to be a way yo save blaze shot. The fallen impact one I imagine the slower shells with increased launcher potency might be best break damage now with a fear eraser right after. Haven't messed with it yet though

I maybe complaining about previously updates but mad respect to sega for doing this giving away free stuff i haven't been updatig my weapons and armors so this is a win i can now save up for future updates
there isnt much to do in the update, also first major update slot with no level cap or class skills. i hit +80 5 mins after logging on and my class got screwed with a bad custom pa. no giga 5 despite them releasing new purps. its almost like sega dont want me to engage with their game
I actually tried Bouncer and as Slayer main I'm very conflicted now. Honestly speaking it's what it should have been from the start... tho it might be a little bit OP since you can counter endlessly now without interrupting the flow of PAs.
W8 a sec… if armor is character bound, you can spam new characters with last chapter check point and add fixas on armor, 6 try’s a day (including 24h character deletion)? Just transfer them through account storage 🧐
I've been hearing that a high fixa on a neos A is still better than these new freebie weapons. Don't know how true that is. Seems a bit weird to me. I am interested in seeing the damage calculator update because I got a fixa 3 versch rifle to drop instantly in leciel right after the update and I'm wondering how it stacks up!
the fact we dont get another aug slot w +80 pisses me off the devs honestly are making me wanna quit this game w the nonstop grind crap then insulting updates like this
The PA custom does give a few extra variants. Swift Smash T-2 is a sword beam thst basically acts like an AOE by virtue of cutting through mobs ahead of you
Funny enough I got a verschmelz fixa 3 to drop on my first leciel playthrough of the update. FOR MY WEAPON. extremely lucky. I've got a feeling that it's a bit better than the freebie but idk. NGS math confuses me lol.
Well, i just tested verschmelz +70 termina2 (7800avg dps in one minute parse - 5 rounds) vs argenti+80 (8200avg dps in one minute parse - 5 rounds). Plus my verschmelz has optimized augments including exdi compared to vanilla argenti. So i guess even if +80 versch adds 500dps, it's probably not worth the resources. @@beardalaxy
@@Formus1990 i guess i probably could just test the two of them since i have both now anyway lol. i didn't mind upgrading the versch to +80 either because i have so many gold primm IIs.

pruple drops crap like allways only good for the master cubes that was it. The custom pas not rly the burner....for gunner totaly worthless. for a big update it isn´t a big update. Its just an update.

You get it with each account you have not with each character.

doesn't show an end date as of yet, perhaps its an error and will be fixed later but this is unknown

flug and tisah, then melek, then vers fixa, then argenti... cheers. Neos A with a good fixa may be close to Argenti tho.

No, always termina for versch. wix 5 for versch is weaker than termina 2, but if you like you can keep it as a fodder to gamba on that 10%.

I just started making my octo armors last week.. then they give these armors.. lol I wasted so many augments and refiners
classic sega, but dw by next month there will be a new weapon and presumably 9* armours coming soon as well.
I'm pretty confident your Octos outdo those handouts. It's a matter of what augs you put on them. Doesn't have to be top tier augs like Exdis either.
Sega has to do this bc a large portion of the player base doesn't upgrade their weapons ever 😂

versch +80 termina 2 is better than argenti I tried fighting boss with it but against dummy it's weaker@@Formus1990
