My sentry and Global entry are good through 2023, but passport expires in Feb 2021. this is the question, why do I need to pay a extra $100 to have this (global Entry) to be applied to my new passport?
For Global Entry you ideally want to enter in your PASSID in the KTN section of your reservation or even frequent flyer account. That will ensure that you have it. Also TSA does have the right to make you go through the scanner or patdown with GE or even Precheck.
I need to renew my global entry which expired during COVID. My last name has changed due to marriage and I get an error code: 603 when trying to update my last name. Do I have to speak to someone on the phone to update my last name ?

Please, somebody teach TSA agents especially at Los Angeles airport that Global entry qualifies TSA precheck
