I feel the same way. I feel like when I unbox a doll and give her a fresh wash and style she must feel like “ so this is what a day at the barbie spa feels like after 30 years of being stuck in a box”
My mom had this specific barbies as a kid she was really special to my mom because my mom and her 2 other sisters didnt get dolls that much but when Christmas came my grandmother took them toy shopping where my mom chose her! She still has her original doll with a NIB one she kinda inspired to collect dolls too 😁
I adore you. I’m really excited to see your channel blow up and keep growing. Been watching your content since your first few videos and have stayed ever since. So nice to see someone love this era of Barbie as much as I do.
Literally one of my favorite UA-cam channels. 😍 I'm a new subscriber and always look forward to every video that you share. If you can, please do a review on the Dance Magic Barbie doll from 1989. I remember you mentioning her and the Ken from that line in your Doll Haul video. I bought her for myself for Christmas and don't think I'll ever open her because she looks so beautiful being displayed on my shelf. 😁 Thank you for all that you do and share with us!
She turned out absolutely stunning! I just got Dana and Diva (Rockers), both in box, and I'm so excited but scared to open them. Dana has that pleather-ish jacket and Diva's has that shiny duo-tone coating, and I reeeeally don't want them to chip or peel. But the boxes are in very questionable condition, so I'm expecting mold at the very least and a definite spa/laundry day for them both. Wish me luck! 😬☺
I was fortunate my mom gave me this doll when I was a child and she was so excited to give it to me because she knew I would love it as Peaches and Cream Barbie was my all time favourite and Garden Party is like the purple version. Watching your video makes me feel like digging mine out and seeing if I can refresh her, I haven’t looked at her in years and I played extensively with my Barbies so I hope she is one that I didn’t play with till she and her outfit was wore out. Great video! ❤
That is so sweet! I am glad my video inspired you to revisit your childhood doll!! I bet she will look fabulous in no time, and will be so thankful that you’ve thought of her after all those years.
Her model/makeup version of the face (Malaysia version) is for me the most beautiful in the entire history of Barbie faces and makeup (I'm not exaggerating). She is so classic, soft, gentle and not sexist. In keeping with the spirit of the era of Barbie's painting-drawing (like Paper Doll) style at that time. thanks for that video
Yes! And so different from the China version. Who has much harsher makeup. That’s what I love about this doll. She’s subtly fabulous. Just the right amount of camp. And versatile, for any outfit you’d want to put her in!
I too love the vanity.I am craving an old barbie house of some sort too.I got the old reading barbie kitchen years ago, one of my all time faves. It's set up in my living room.Right now Frank Sinatra barbie is having a big turkey dinner with many barbies.Got chairs , couches etc, lol.there is another party under my little xmas tree with many others. They are spreading to my computer desk now.
Great restoration!😍One of the things I love about 80s and early 90s Barbies is that most of their fashions can be changed into different styles. It's such a shame Mattel doesn't do that anymore!😭
I learned alot from your tutorials and they work so well with my dolls. Hmmm ... if you have any inclination to do a DIY dragqueen Barbie ... that would be amazing
Sometimes when I wash my barbies i feel like the doll spirit is like ahhhhhh so fresh and so clean clean. 😂 enjoyed this video.
Hahaha be like “Christ compels you!!” And watch her soul come right back.

I love that you show the full process instead of skipping every step lol you did such a great job!
she is so beautiful, i just love those late 80's and 90's Barbie dolls. Thanks for sharing.
You are extremely talented with curling Barbie’s hair! I would love to see what you got for Christmas. 😊

I never got this doll back in the day, but now I think I might want her. Next time I see her cheap I'll probably get her. She cleans up nicely.

@@disneybarbiegirl615 Absolutely. And like her... Barbie 'Pretty Perfume' (olso the Malaysia version) are also top of the line for me.

It’s a shame they don’t do a whole lot anymore lol 😂
@@disneybarbiegirl615 All we have now is a bunch of potato sacks, and they call them "fashions"🤣
@ lol 😂 Walmart has better fashions than Barbie currently
So fabulous! I do enjoy these videos!!!
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
@@disneybarbiegirl615- I even went hunting for this doll now! 🙈
How did I miss this!
Do I get an award for being 1st comment? 👀 awesome video! Always nice to find something you’ve been looking for. High satisfaction.
You get a solid 👍🏻 lol 😂 thank you

Haha I could always do my best.
This might be an off topic question, but how would you wash and style the hair of Barbie from Barbie and the rockers? 👁️👄👁️
I don’t keep them in box either. I have let those out to breath and have a spa day.
love this single restoration videos 🫶🫶🫶, you really focus on the doll

I see Sweet Roses furniture on Marketplace in Indiana at least once a month. FYI
Oh do you??👀
@@disneybarbiegirl615 About 2 weeks ago there was Sweet Roses kitchen and accessories. $20 but I don't collect furniture
Qaswe mklo💃👠🥺😭🙏💫👸
Can someone explain to me how a doll can get so gross and dirty in box????
