The playstyle together with Yanx is how I play most of the time , just feeding free balls to my teammate, giving them all the time to come back and get boost. Its very effective, I do notice I am very depended on my teammates because of it. I mean I can carry when my teammate does the same for me, but when a guy is not covering my back and not scoring the free balls. I just can't find the balance yet in doing both and switching between the 2 myself in that situation.
I kinda do the same. I am mostly a defensive player out of necessity because most players just steamroll up for attacking. But I did notice that occasionally when I get another defensive player I sometimes struggle to adapt and struggle when there is almost no assertiveness from him. It really comes down to defensive rotations than and scoring counter goals. Although since my ground game got a lot better I am able to outplay 1 or 2 opponents. But traditionally you just play solid defensive and making right decisions and let the teammate just carry the rest.
This ... And it's so frustrating when they don't score any of my passes etc... Some people just can't play smart I guess.. in that situation you have to play different cause it won't work.

Can anyone explain the secret or any tips to Yan hitting that flip reset into a flip cancel air dribble @7:22? I can do everything that is involved in the shot but I'm having trouble understanding the flip cancel portion i.e. distance, angle, boost usage..I'm not sure how to catch the ball versus hit like i have been doing.

Anyone know the actual correct way to pronounce Yanxnz's gt? It drives me nuts that I've heard it pronounced three different ways now. The na and eu casters pronounce it "Yan" the SAM casters pronounce it like "yanks" which is the way I would assume is correct and now Jack pronounces it "yanz"
I'm brazilian and I always called him "yanks". Here we pronounce the letter "a" a bit different than the americans, I don't know how to explain to you, but you can notice the difference hearing the sam casters saying it

Spanish countries pronounce "a" much more "open" then we do most of the time. In his name, the "n" comes after the "a" so it has a nasal sound.
