Top Secret Cargo on the Railroad

On Saint Patrick's day the local newspaper was interviewing the Irish immigrants that built and manage the RR when what was supposed to be Top Secret cargo came through the yard. The journalist then grabbed his camera and followed this special train catching it at several spots along the main line but where was it going?

Nice. Fun fact. Early WW2. Box cars carrying munitions would have a large white X whitewashed on each side so the car would avoid being humped. Then someone decided they would make great targets for someone to shoot. The practice was dropped very quickly. Thanks Todd.

That is a Fun fact. Maybe in this case the Feds thought, let's not fuel speculation and conspiracy by covering the bombs, we will just be honest and show them. LOL

Modified LGB center depressed car?

Sort of. I used Bachmann pieces to scratch this and made a 12" deck for it. It is based on the one made by LGB.
