can you test this game on 12.10.2 drivers + different maps? I heard the FPS on certain maps is MUCH MUCH worse then others, which is what is holding me back from buying the game.. I also run on 12.10.2 drivers because 12.11.2 apperantly introduces some gnarly bugs with Radeon Software and OCing... so if you maybe have time to test this or just the maps fps across the game, that be really cool! tysm
There's stuttering and 1% low frame drops, i can see it through youtube which tells me it's not as optimized when maxed out. But the more important thing is NOT maxing out the graphical settings but SETTING it to a level and reducing it until you start losing graphical quality, as it's a FPS game, foilage and terrain may not be that important in a firefight.
It felt very smooth in person on 4k ultra. Don't read too much into smoothness of a recording since the recording is 60fps and the gameplay isn't so they don't sync like on a vrr monitor.

I dont know the details of the console version but they often don't use the maxed out settings from pc. They usually have some turned down and/or use dynamic resolution scaling to maintain the 60fps
I mean, my system can pull over 100fps if I lower settings a bit but the devs said that console cpu can't possibly support a 120fps mode. So it really isn't that shocking they can hit 60 with lowered settings.
If you care about RT ebough to be worth an extra $100 get the 3080 since it will have much better RT. Otherwise at 1440p they are both extremely good. And where are you seeing those prices? Those are way better prices than normal in this market.

When you do not have a GameWorks giving your brand a edge all the time now, Nvidia does not come ahead in such games without it. A 3080 Ti is a RX 6800 non-XT at best and a RX 6700 at worse.
