I really want an Ominis quest- he was a very important character and he just was tagged with Sebastions Questline which isn't fair as the only two other significant characters are Natty and Poppy and they had full fledged quests. I heard rumor about the Gaunt Manor being apart of the game files. I feel like going more into his character would be cool because of his connection to Voldemort so we would learn more about him through Ominis which is really interesting I think at least
Yeah, I also hate the fact that the only way you become better friends with Ominis in the base game is if you turn Sebastian in. Granted, I know that pretty much nobody would turn Sebastian in otherwise but still...
I’d like a few things: 1) cut content/areas/curfew system 2) full companion system 3) extra spells the npcs use but we cant for some reason (fire tornado, lighting storm, expulso, patronus).
@@tonyug113 Useful? Who mentioned that? Curfew would provide a challenge that doesn't currently exist despite several missions hinting at it - like companion AI. Advertised but not in the finished product.
Personally, apart from a "New Game +" option, I just want Avalanche to enhance the experience for the base game, and add a quest line to make us try all that with a new story to discover by ourselves. And what I would like to be changed/added to enhance this experience, is : - A better to use map - Being able to switch seasons for the whole map once the main storyline is finished - More interaction in the world (sit on chairs, use tools we find, talk to anyone without having to complete a quest) - Being able to use the Patronus charm - Most NPCs having an actual day/night schedule, going to class, leaving, exploring the countryside, etc - More mini-games - Being able to continue the duel mini-game as long as we want
Give us the bloody companion system! I want to roam the world with Sebastian and Ominis, even if one at a time! Also, Ominis deserves his whole quest story. He doesn't deserve to just be a side character of Sebastian's own quest.
Really need more content within the castle, not so much secrets but actually doing stuff in the castle. JK wrote 5 books where they barely left the castle and each story was great. The castle makes the magic
I'd like the weather to be worse. Apparently storms and blizzards are in the code but so rare you never see anything. Give me a proper British downpour or snowstorm please.
I replayed the game last week and that was the first time I saw hogwarts under the rain and I got the game when it released 😭 Like please give us actual highlands weather
We NEED a Ravenclaw questline. Nati, Sebastian, Poppy and Amit were all characters we met but once again Ravenclaw is the only one without a major character questline
@@ronniesanchez4859 Like any smart and studious character Amit took one look at what the MC does on a daily basis and decided this was not for the sane minded.
I'm so glad that they are considering allowing those who have the game already to buy the add on content instead of having to buy a whole new game because I honestly don't want to pay for a new game but will take dlc to add to my game.
My wishlist is probably way too much for a dlc. 1. More interaction in hogwarts with major npcs, let us study potions with garreth instead of having to buy recipes from pippin, do specific training with professors instead of just going out into the highlands to find random enemies, let us be able to spend library time or meal time with companions. And especially have important npc have chatter similar to Ominis in the halls. 2. Personal pensieve: where we can replay cutscenes and re-watch them. Heck even allow us to choose different options in the cutscenes since they make little difference and memories can be canonically altered. Sometimes I just want to re-see a single cutscene instead of starting a completely new character file. 3. Definitely allow us to have companions, especially post game. Though I do have to say I wish we could invite Poppy to take out poacher camps with us along the way, and involve Natty in taking out more of Rookwood’s elite.
Wishlist Being able to: -take companions with you throughout the game with added dialogue options and role-paly. -get caught sneaking into peoples homes and ransacking their belongings. Make stealth fun with the added risk please. (In essence the morality system) -skip the Alohomora mini-game once I learn the rank 3 spell. -customize the blink ability to the dark smoky version to accomodate evil playthrough. -talk (RP) with companions in the common room between missions. You know, like a student? Give us a reason to go back into the common rooms.
@@eric5401 It's never explicitly said, but it IS heavily implied that no one had ever opened the CoS since Slytherin built it. Putting that in Hogwarts Legacy would destroy the lore of the book. JK Rowling will never sign off on that, so it's pointless to wish for it.
@@GamerX51 Factually, there were some Gaunts that opened it up in order to connect it to the pipes. The entrance wasn't always in a bathroom after all.
@rubysmith765 there's so much mystery of Hogwarts. Yet we only had what 6 secrets of Hogwarts? You might love the open world but Hogwarts itself is an open world. We could have so much more exploring in Hogwarts
- Great Lake exploration via Gillyweed/Bubblehead charm always felt like a no-brainer - they teased us so much with swimming and diving animations alongside mermish statues and the liason outfit! - Diagon Alley/Knockturn Alley phased exploration area to spend our excess galleons on, giving us new potions, skin overrides to purchase for the Requirement Room - Forbidden Forest werewolves, vampires and gytrashes - adding some much needed enemy variety! - Tour other wizarding world schools (for ease of design, just the outside and immediate territory nearby, keeping indoor exploration for sequel)
More wands and customizable brooms. And maybe adding a feature for harder spells that makes you tap a sequence of buttons to pull it off right (like old school fighting games)
My guess for the rumoured Director's Cut/Definitive Edition was 2025! Now hopefully thst will be the case! My only criticism is that I hope they add more than 10-15 hours of content for the rumoured price for it.
Well the price for it will be for the base game + new DLC as a combined package for NEW purchases only. The seperate DLC for people who already own Hogwarts Legacy would guaranteed be as cheap as can be
Though id love if they made all the minigames replayable .. kind of hoping the main quest explains why Isidora Morganach painting was destroyed..Do a whole quest to collect the pieces for it to lead no where.
This. I want more lore. The first half of the game was so good. The last half was so incomplete. Feed off that. Either in the DLC or a new game. What is Isidoras explanation, what happens to Ann, let me destroy the keepers, bring me companions, expense on the ravenclaw story line. So so so much to change
1) Fix the voice pitch bug on PC. 2) More stuff to do around Hogwarts. (Doesn't have to be big implementations. Smaller-medium size stuff is the sweet spot without taking away from the story) 3) A "Hogwarts" duelling championship, like the one we essentially had in HP2. Probably add a duelling club with it. Those are my biggest wishes. But generally more interactions with NPC's and around Hogwarts would be nice.
Yes definitely that. I love hogwarts legacy in the winter season. But to be able to have the freedom to openly change it is what I think makes hogwarts legacy a game players may not put down.
More interactions with companions, other students, teachers, more Hogwarts secrets and stories of different characters. Previously it felt kinda lonely in the game
Fr you see Sebastian and Ominis walking around all day and you can’t interact with them at all. Sebastian will be like “it’s been a long time”….like bro we share classes and pass in the halls everyday lol
This game was fun, but really lacking in the replay ability. Once youve beaten the game once or twice, you know it all and really only come back for game mechanics.
@@Redsox4444443 I had fun in my one and only playthrough even with some issues it has, i felt something magical was awesome, but was very boring after to do another If they do a DLC i hope its not garbage like the starfield DLC
5:15 WB has a Wizarding World website that does a personality test thing and assigns you to your recommended house and patronus animal in the game. Mine's a mastiff :D
I just want extreme weather. Really sttong thunderstorms with lightning and strong winds. I also want snow storms or blizzards which increase the amount of snow on the map.
I second this! Could you IMAGINE how fun it would be to become a hawk, and soar around the world, or secretly become one with your friends, hiding it from the Ministry. And, they could link it to the Wizarding World account's patronus, we already know that some wizards and witches have the same patronus as their animagus, it would make it feel soo much more personalized! I REAALLLY hope this is added... Even if it is for the second game - if it's implemented, they've got to put in care for it
@@PolyCons it would be so fun! I don't want it to be linked to what my patronus is on my wizarding world account tho, cause I'd want it to be different for each playthrough and also it'd be sad for people who don't like their patronus to be confined to that animagus form
Even today I occasionality drop into my 100% file and walk around hogwarts, and even after all this time i still come across student conversations i haven't heard before, and just stand around listening to them chat about school life. this is 100% what HL needed more of, more 'in school' stuff, and less "go to the southern shores and save a hamlet" stuff. But yeah I have no idea why summoners court or dualling club weren't always available, you could only do them 3 times, then they were gone forever =(
1. More spells, fiendfyre, grindelwald lightning spell, summon inferi and patronus if they add dementors. 2. More story, expanding on the questline of Slytherin and giving Ravenclaw a proper guestline. 3. companion system with a new companion or companions.
4:47 this is actually a rreeaaallyyy good point. Putting that much into a new location and creature just to have the only house to see it be probably the least popular house choice lol. Like cmon now
It sounds like this has been in the works for quite some time, so I am expecting a fairly large new content release for this game; otherwise, it will be disappointing that they did not stick with just focusing on the sequel instead.
The Photo-mode has the ability to change seasons... I really want that in the game itself too! Could be a great addition for a game+ mode. Also every class/subject should have it's own minigame! you can replay, get grades on how well you do it etc.
I feel you about the classes, but I also feel like thats a huge mechanic, that I'd rather see be the proper center of a sequel that focuses more on school life, rather than some minor attempts to incorporate it as a side-mechanic to HL, where Classes have no real impact on anything. Like, they could implement a whole points system and mini-games for classes, but the core of HL, as is, are main and side stories that just don't tie into this at all, so I think retrofitting it do anything meaningful and belongs into a differently structured game.
It will be so cool if the DLC is like a "summer vacation" season, where you can go to London and maybe the protagonist house, meet the family, talk with them about your ancient magic powers, etc. And also make the final exams that were only a cinematic... I want my A grades.
I dont think meeting parents/MCs Family will be possible as we could make up our own character but we definitely need some MC backstory, i feel like that could/should be a HL2 thing tho
@@jasminatounsiI suspect the problem with that is that a lot of people sort of made themselves or at least had their own little head cannons. For example I was an orphan (technically still am. I'm not a necromancer) but my daughter who I primarily got the game for (even though I stole it) has both her parents, thankfully seeing as I'm one of them but there's two very different scenarios there from the exact same family. Ultimately it's in school so I don't think the outside matters as you can just head cannon it. I actually think it's a problem with a few games. Lara Croft for example, I think they're delivering too much into her character to the point she's pretty unlikable. The old Tomb Raider games gave you just enough to like her but were ambiguous enough to fill a lot in. So is Lara lesbian? Is she straight? Is she pan? Well she's all those things if you want. In my mind she's a Liverpool fan. If canonically they made her a Man United or an Everton fan then I'd purposely spend the entire game launching her into deathtraps so sometimes it's best to let the imagination reign supreme in my opinion.
1. A more complete Ravenclaw sidequest. 2. Closure/explanation of what happened with Sebastian and Anne Sallow. 3. Closure/what happened with Poppy and her parents. 4. For completion's sake, a romantic option would be great. My character has a crush on Poppy. We must see it realized. 5. A widened Crossed Wands. Maybe Gobstones.
A way to cure Anne. It's without question the biggest lose end in Hogwarts: Legacy, it NEEDS to be the new story line. Adding prank items to the item wheel through a side quest with Everet Clopton would be a good way to get a Ravenclaw companion quest. Standard requests - point system - companions following - NG+. As a fun bonus i want a way to dress up your creatures. Even if it's only in photomode, a shades on a hippogriff and a top hat on a mooncalf would be great! 🤣
I mean this wasn't a huge team and they were rightfully at some point in fear this wouldn't be super popular, so they trimmed the game down. It's a shame in retrospect, but I also don't see this as malicious. They didn't strip these things out because they were planning to sell them later as a DLC but to meet reasonable release goals. Depending on how much will be in it and how they'll price it, we'll see if this is fair criticism, to complain about them selling it as DLC.
@oq1106 "fear this wouldn't be popular" come on bro.. everyone has wanted this type of game in the Harry potter universe for years. This game was hyped from the moment there was even a rumor.
@@itsmylesfr you forge this fell right into JK going so TERF that people were threatening to boycott it. There was a lot of negative press in the leadup to this games release. Combined with this being the first project of this size by this studio, them tempering down the scope was a pretty solid decision. It's also something the devs have repeatedly said; that they were not expecting this to blow up this much.
This is exactly what I needed to hear after a long, stressful day! I love Hogwarts Legacy and even over a year later, I find myself spending at least half an hour a day in the game, just being in the world. I love this!
The thing about companions is a bit peculiar. After reinstalling the game, like a year after release, and I still had Sebastian as a constant companion. I triple checked: no mod installed (I had the companion mod installed before). Which means that mod inserts no new code, it just activates what's already there and is stored in the vanilla save files.
I just really wanted to feel immersed within the world after the story was over. Being able to roam around the castle during the night as the snow hit the glass with Lumos lighting the way. If you had a follower then depending on whom they are they'll warn against prefects or even suggest going a certain path. Being able to sit in the great hall and over hear npcs talking about classes or what they'll do for break. I really think that they could have also benefited from having radiant quests similar to Elder Scrolls. Going to a professor and they may ask you to help them capture something, create a potion, send a message to another npc, complete a trial (similar to the older Harry Potter classes), and etc. At the very least it could allow people to feel like they're doing extra credit work or class assignments.
I really hope the rumored sequel makes significant gameplay changes. A house point system where we can earn or lose them depending on our actions. I want to have to sneak out of the castle at night while avoiding teachers, Prefects, and Peeves. Flu Flames within the grounds should be doused at night (those outside the castle grounds should remain active though because of how large the map is). I want daily classes to attend. Give us an actual reason like a one in-game day buff. Obviously a DLC can't do all that, but a new spell or two would be nice. Maybe let us hang out with friends whenever, since we already have a follow mechanic.
This makes me so happy. I can't wait. A New Game+ feature is all I want. Please give me. Also, for the Patronus Charm? I think they could do something along the lines of your House. That you can link your Pottermore account and you'll automatically recieve the house you got there, but can still choose a different one in the game if you so desire. You can also get your own Patronus there, so they can just do that, but still allow you to choose a different one if you don't like it.
I would love to see a set of spells dlc especially if they're silly spells like in the lego games, having Rictusempra be a dancing legs charm for example. If they could make like 8 new spells (preferably with quests to earn them) that would be ideal
I want the world to be more alive; more interactions throughout the castle, being able to maybe join the groups standing around and sit with characters. Also some sort of interactions with the companions as well as a companion system more intricate than the mod. Usable beds as well, and a reason to be in your common room. More classes as well. Just general quality of life improvements would make the biggest difference. Curfew too would be nice! There are big chunks missing from the story imo. Like, before the Scriptorium, we should have gone to Ominis' house and gotten a bit of more insight into him and more hints at the seriousness of dark magic. Npcs in Hogsmead discuss his mother rather loudly, and his house is in the files, but we never see her? The jump from everything is great to dark magic actually being used is way too drastic. There needs to be more build up! Also, it almost appeared as though we would have to work with Rookwood to take down Ranrock, but everything cut off so abruptly. I also find it hard to believe Sebastian forgets about Ancient Magic and MC's promise to try and use it for his sister. However, it just jumps. The whole thing is very weird and I would love to see it polished up and play out as the writers originally intended!
Well I think the normal school life and interactions with other students is what needs the most polish! We had way to few classes! We did not parttake in any festivals! And getting to know your schoolmates is almost non existent outside the quests. There also were no story events for the school breaks. Schoolrules only applyed in the story missions, like not leaving the student quaters during night or entering the forbidden department in the library. Also adding more spells is always welcome. Edit: After a smal look into my review I'd also like to ask for some other things: More potions and ingridience. More interaction with the enviroment is needed. Like simply using chairs. For immersions sake, introduce me to my house teacher! Let them escort my to my bedroom at the first night or let them as a trusted student to do so. Also was it just me or did we not get a questline with a Ravenclaw student? Make the Quidditch stadium usable with stairs. Make house points a real thing! Add more options for character creation. Some more long hair versions for example. Or some with plaited hair options (I hope google translator gave me the right word). Also additional voices to choose from.
Thanks for the coverage! I want to see more immersive UI options. I want to be able to turn off block indicators and turn off enemy highlight. I've been able to do this with mods to create the experience I want. There are a lot of UI options already, so it seems to be something the team cares about.
Before they release these new content they need to fix an already existing issue with the game where existing main quests in the story glitch out and you cannot reach the max rank of 40 due to the progress is cut short because the Sylvester Selwyn main quest mission doesn't track towards completion of career to 100%.
Dynamic World Events: Random encounters, quests, and challenges that change over time, encouraging players to explore the world repeatedly. Hidden Secrets and Treasures: More intricate puzzles, riddles, and secret rooms to discover, rewarding players with unique items or lore. Expanded Map: Additional regions to explore, such as Diagon Alley or Ministry of Magic and greyed out areas of the map, with new creatures, challenges, and quests. Deeper Character Relationships: More meaningful interactions with NPCs, including romantic relationships and friendships that evolve over time. Companion System: The ability to recruit and customise companions, who can aid in combat, provide unique dialogue, and offer side quests.
1st - I'd love to be able to invite companions into my Room of Requirement. I decorate it so nice and I'm the only one who sees it. 2nd - it would be nice to have some seasonal side quests using some fun new charms - like how to charm skeletons to dance around Halloween (it's fall) 3rd - love to see more interaction between the houses and perhaps a quest per house.
Dueling Club /Ladder system, More story quest, Quidditch, would all be great additions. This is a FANTASTIC game. Just came back to revisit Cyberpunk and Hogwarts. .
I agree that there should be a full on Azkaban mission in either the DLC up date of Legecy 2 game, and the way you discover the form of your patronize is by completing three side quest before heading to Azkaban that depending on how you complete them shapes your patronize charm
they dont need to do much. 1. a 30-person lobby like in gtao wud b nice 2. pvp duel, summoners court, wiz chess, and broom racing with a ladder system start small. then later maybe global events. group dungeons. customizable dorms, and quidditch
I hope that "director's cut" means they restore what seems to have been the original main story surrounding Sebastian. Not that watered down goblin rebellion crap.
My personal wishlist in no particular order: -Wands where your choice of wood, core, etc. actually matters. -Ability to collect multiple wands Pokemon style -Brooms with different stats -Control the weather/season. I don't care if it's lore accurate, I want it to be Halloween all year. -Fleshed out class system, where you study spells, engage in additional challenged, and unlock bonus perks as a result. Ironically, skyrim has a mod called "spell research" that I think would be the PERFECT template for this game. Basically you collect ingredients, distill them down to their alchemical components, experiment with them, study how their magical properties interact, and then copy them down to learn a new spell. It's incredibly satisfying as, throughout the game, it gives you a reason to be excited for any random ingredient you find, rare or common, because it will directly fuel your alchemical research obsession and help you learn more MAGIC. -Potions lab where you can do a mini game to create potions (potentially tied in to above) -Duelling, summoning, etc. clubs with club-exclusive rewards. -Ravenclaw House quest (like... wtf WB. Come on.) Feel like there are a few others but those are some of the biggest ones.
I know it's too much to ask for. But I want a game for Harry Potter where it's kind of like the Master Chief collection where it takes you through all the games.Well, I want that for the Harry Potter books and it still have the appearance of Hogwarts Legacy. I've never gotten to read the books so it would be extremely cool to get a game to be able to explore all of that in greater detail.
1st, I Honestly have to start by saying yes to your top 3 100%. Then add my other two wants 2nd, a larger house exclusive side mission, the one we got for the 3 out of 4 house were pretty much blink and you'll miss them type of quests, unless you're Ravenclaw and you were done dirty in that regard. 3rd, this isnt huge or game changing but if you could see the other characters you created walking around the school or hogsmead i think itd be a wonderful little touch. Maybe even dual them or use them as companions.
I jumped back into it yesterday and accidentally found out that fireflies react accordingly to each different spell. The details in this game are insane.
For everyone who owns hogwarts legacy this should be a free upgrade. It can be the same price as the standard edition for people who haven't bought the game before.
I honestly wouldn’t buy it. They missed the moment and failed to respond to that. I love what we got but long filled the time. I go back every so often to just wander for a few minutes. But the summer update was absolute BS and the insta pivot to the live service model was an immediate turn off. A second full game would be better, or a substantial dlc and update. But 10-15hrs isn’t gonna do it. And no, y’all need to let Quidditch go
We all need hogwarts legacy 2 to come out soon😢) also why is there a 4th flying mount space if theres no 4th flying mount in the flying mount section 🤔
After I beat the campaign I was left with not much to do. Didn't feel like doing many of the side quests, so I'm hoping this dlc gives me something enticing enough to come back to the game.
I don't think they will many "new" features, I think they will be using the mechanics and visuals etc already in the game. I am thinking of something adding to the keepers story and Idodora would be great and the world is effectively already there. They could also possibly tie that in with an ending that sets up HL2. More duelling club and mini games would be great and should be fairly easy to add/add extra levels. I liked the mysteries of Hogwarts, but disappointed they were only 3 of them
10-15 hours in form of quests is not much, compared to the massive game you could easily spend 40-60 hours in. If all the world is the same, and just new quests... the price gotta have to be cheap.
So it's nearly half of the main game but thats not much to you????? It's true you just can't please people these days that's more than enough content to justify £20 dlc price your demands are ridiculous
Why does the time even matter? Id rather have 10-15 hours which are nothing more than amazing than having 40-60 hours bloated with boring amd tedious stuff or a story that just feels like its pushing longer and longer just for the sake of it. Stop using playtime as a criteria for „good“ or „bad“ content
I agree with all your ideas. Patronus from the website like the wand would be amazing! Also would like to see an option to change the seasons and maybe a harder difficulty with smarter ai?
All I want is more quests specifically tied to Ominis and Gareth Weasley. And I want our dialogue choices to actually matter but that one might be too big of an ask for a DLC.
They need to add polyjuice potion so you can get in the other dorms. I am also a fan of having more with Azkaban and learning the patronus. I also think you are supposed to be a ravenclaw for this game
The main thing I want is a Very Hard Mode. I just want them to make a mode that feels like your a Kid wizard going up against Adult Dark wizards. A playthrough where the boss owns me over and over before I finally triumph. It would be amazing.
The one thing I really want the most is a karma system. I always get thrown off anytime I cast an unforgivable curse with no repercussions. People should be terrified at the fact that I can kill someone easily with the killing curse another thing I want is for them to expand more on the ancient magic I want to hear more about isidora maybe even have a boss battle with her to test your true skills
so about the patronus, you know how you can connect your Wizarding World account to the game, and if you do, it gives you your house on the website right away during the sorting as opposed to having to answer questions. I think the patronus should be the same. connect your account and get the patronus you have on there or have to answer a series of questions like the sorting.
quidditch would be so much better in virtual game form if the field was like half the length. takes like 15 seconds to do a full end to end ride on a broom lol
Everything I've read here such as changing seasons and weather, more mini games, able to replay them, more spells like the patronus charm and more/different enemies! Dementors, giants, etc. in high level areas!
We can link our WBGames account & Pottermore account to our Hogwarts Legacy profiles. On Pottermore you can already take the Patronus form quiz. So if they add Expecto Patronum to the game, our Patronus could just take the form we get in our Pottermore profiles. It already works that way for our Hogwarts house & wand traits.
I just started playing this game for the first time about 5 days ago. So this only appeared because I was looking up how to solve a puzzle where you turn a vase into a chess piece. what a pleasant surprise. :D

- Most NPCs having an actual day/night schedule, going to class, leaving, exploring the countryside, etc
- More mini-games
- Being able to continue the duel mini-game as long as we want
Give us the bloody companion system! I want to roam the world with Sebastian and Ominis, even if one at a time!
Also, Ominis deserves his whole quest story. He doesn't deserve to just be a side character of Sebastian's own quest.
Really need more content within the castle, not so much secrets but actually doing stuff in the castle. JK wrote 5 books where they barely left the castle and each story was great. The castle makes the magic
This! I thought we'd get so many interesting quests from ghost but we barely did!
Need more hidden dungeons and school legends.
@@charleshammer7984and secret passageways! I want to see the one with the trick step that harry gets caught on in goblet of fire
Agreed..... n make the protagonist someone others would want as a friend instead of a robot with sociopath vibes.
I'd like the weather to be worse. Apparently storms and blizzards are in the code but so rare you never see anything. Give me a proper British downpour or snowstorm please.
I love playing Skyrim with crazy weather mods. Combat encounters in crazy snowstorms are pretty epic.
As a proper American I like to see what a Brit would consider bad weather 😂
I replayed the game last week and that was the first time I saw hogwarts under the rain and I got the game when it released 😭 Like please give us actual highlands weather
We NEED a Ravenclaw questline. Nati, Sebastian, Poppy and Amit were all characters we met but once again Ravenclaw is the only one without a major character questline
Amit was the ravenclaw quest line
@@ronniesanchez4859 Like any smart and studious character Amit took one look at what the MC does on a daily basis and decided this was not for the sane minded.
Although practically useless, Ravenclaw is the only one that can fly in and out close to the Common Room.
Nah, he is a coward and a wimp. Ravenclaw was disrespected@@oq1106
Amit was a big part of the story he’s the one that translates gobbledygook for us.
I'm so glad that they are considering allowing those who have the game already to buy the add on content instead of having to buy a whole new game because I honestly don't want to pay for a new game but will take dlc to add to my game.
Wouldn't that be ridiculous if they did make you have to rebuy the game tho? I've never had to do that with other games
@@Shyknit honestly don't know. This is the first time I've heard about something like this so I was a little worried I'd have to rebuy it.
YES
The pensieve idea is REALLY good.
Wishlist
Being able to:
-take companions with you throughout the game with added dialogue options and role-paly.
-get caught sneaking into peoples homes and ransacking their belongings. Make stealth fun with the added risk please. (In essence the morality system)
-skip the Alohomora mini-game once I learn the rank 3 spell.
-customize the blink ability to the dark smoky version to accomodate evil playthrough.
-talk (RP) with companions in the common room between missions. You know, like a student? Give us a reason to go back into the common rooms.
You can skip the Alohamora mini-game in story mode! Idk if that’s how you play tho lol
I would like a team quest with Ominis (since he can speak parsaltoung) to explore the chamber of secrets
It would be cool but the whole plot of Chamber of Secrets was that no one had opened the chamber since Slytherin was there
@@ByTexifyit’s never explicitly said. Tom gets in, but that’s all we know. For all we know the Gaunts could have opened it.
@@MadRaptorGaming But they didn't physically walk into the CoS to connect it to the pipes though; so my point stands.
Needs house points and more internal Hogwarts secrets, missions and all that. Less open world more HOGWARTS
That sounds like it be the complete opposite of fun not gonna lie.
@rubysmith765 there's so much mystery of Hogwarts. Yet we only had what 6 secrets of Hogwarts? You might love the open world but Hogwarts itself is an open world. We could have so much more exploring in Hogwarts
@@mericagunsfreedomandlove.8985 while I do agree with you on this. The idea of being cramped in hogwarts all game 😬
- Great Lake exploration via Gillyweed/Bubblehead charm always felt like a no-brainer - they teased us so much with swimming and diving animations alongside mermish statues and the liason outfit!
- Diagon Alley/Knockturn Alley phased exploration area to spend our excess galleons on, giving us new potions, skin overrides to purchase for the Requirement Room
- Forbidden Forest werewolves, vampires and gytrashes - adding some much needed enemy variety!
Totally agree
let's hope !
I agree with my colleagues here. At the most we need 25-30 hours of content
If they give me 10-15 houres with new area's i can push it to 50 easy. So i thunk its okey haha
Well the price for it will be for the base game + new DLC as a combined package for NEW purchases only.
The seperate DLC for people who already own Hogwarts Legacy would guaranteed be as cheap as can be
@@thebritishvikingfree, free… free, free, free, free. Or I’m walking not to buy another game with the tittle.
Smaller-medium size stuff is the sweet spot without taking away from the story)
3) A "Hogwarts" duelling championship, like the one we essentially had in HP2. Probably add a duelling club with it.
Those are my biggest wishes. But generally more interactions with NPC's and around Hogwarts would be nice.
I think it would be interesting to have a ministry of magic summer internship as a dlc
Noooooo that would be so horrible. They’d have to add way too much content it wouldn’t be good. Maybe include that in a different game but not a DLC
We all want the same thing: The ability to change the weather and seasons manually
This. Yes.
And classes.
And being able to sit down in chairs/sofas/beds
Mod.
Yes definitely that. I love hogwarts legacy in the winter season. But to be able to have the freedom to openly change it is what I think makes hogwarts legacy a game players may not put down.
All I want is a DLC to use the Patronus Spell that is linked to my Wizarding World Account.
I agree. There is no endgame..which is a shame cause everything else is amazing.
I’d agree. I’ve played the game 3-4 times, and it’s more just “Hey I feel like playing” and i pop back in for a playthrough.
@@Redsox4444443 I had fun in my one and only playthrough even with some issues it has, i felt something magical was awesome, but was very boring after to do another
If they do a DLC i hope its not garbage like the starfield DLC
They will not make a dlc, i haven t see this news, but at least they will make the director s cut for next year.
I think it’d be cool to become an animagus but maybe that’s a HL2 thing
@@evelyne1307 It can be like the wands were you pick if u just want the one on your wizarding world account or customize your own
@@yourlocalstranger1533 I'd be cool with that
@@yourlocalstranger1533That was my thought!
But yeah I have no idea why summoners court or dualling club weren't always available, you could only do them 3 times, then they were gone forever =(
summoners court has 5 matches.
1:30 strangest "beard" I've seen in my life.
Dudes "beard" looks like someone drew it on an etch-a-sketch 😂
He's only using it to hide his neck fat. It is not for actual bearded purposes
Homeboy's neck needs a Brazillian 😭😭😭😭😭
I want creepy missions with dementors, ghosts and evil wizards 😊
1. More spells, fiendfyre, grindelwald lightning spell, summon inferi and patronus if they add dementors. 2. More story, expanding on the questline of Slytherin and giving Ravenclaw a proper guestline. 3. companion system with a new companion or companions.
Looking forward to this Director's Cut. Been desperately awaiting new content for Hogwarts Legacy.
4:47 this is actually a rreeaaallyyy good point. Putting that much into a new location and creature just to have the only house to see it be probably the least popular house choice lol. Like cmon now
2:08 this is the exact *wrong* reason to have a release date. God, I hate that aspect of the industry with a burning passion.
It sounds like this has been in the works for quite some time, so I am expecting a fairly large new content release for this game; otherwise, it will be disappointing that they did not stick with just focusing on the sequel instead.
Sounds like around 10-15 hours of new content if the source is correct. So not massive. Would love to see it be more than what they’re thinking.
I hope the story is fully inside hogwarts
I don’t know how a game set in Scotland can have such predictable weather 😂😭
10-15 hours isn’t enough. WB we need a DLC like the Witcher 3’s. Blood and Wine.
Multiplayer duel , hanging out new quests etc…
It's not DLC if they just add the cut content that was supposed to be in the game, anyways, and then call it DLC.
Don't forget charge you like 90$ for content that should've been there in the first place
I'd also love to be able to play games in the common room , chess etc. All cozy by the fire. More potion recipes . We can dream.
I feel immersion sort of suffered from the PC being a demigod by mid game. But, I enjoyed it.
Sitting. Sitting is a huge one for RP reasons. I HATE that you can’t just sit down in one of the chairs.
A VR version of the entire game would be the BEST though.
Edit: After a smal look into my review I'd also like to ask for some other things:
More potions and ingridience.
I hope they'll fix the Save Biscuit bug that prevents from completing the quest lol
If I have any complaint with this game it's the lack of consequences for using the curses
That's awesome news! I've been craving more content for this game ever since I completed it 100%. Fingers crossed they add new areas as well!
1st - I'd love to be able to invite companions into my Room of Requirement. I decorate it so nice and I'm the only one who sees it.
2nd - it would be nice to have some seasonal side quests using some fun new charms - like how to charm skeletons to dance around Halloween (it's fall)
3rd - love to see more interaction between the houses and perhaps a quest per house.
I’d love PS VR2 support for Hogwarts Legacy. Imagine wandering around the castle and grounds in VR.
no lockpicking mini game.... only thing i want....
Dueling Club /Ladder system,
More story quest, Quidditch, would all be great additions.
1. a 30-person lobby like in gtao wud b nice
2. pvp duel, summoners court, wiz chess, and broom racing with a ladder system
start small. then later maybe global events. group dungeons. customizable dorms, and quidditch
I hope that "director's cut" means they restore what seems to have been the original main story surrounding Sebastian. Not that watered down goblin rebellion crap.
My personal wishlist in no particular order:
-Wands where your choice of wood, core, etc. actually matters.
-Ability to collect multiple wands Pokemon style
-Brooms with different stats
-Control the weather/season.
-Potions lab where you can do a mini game to create potions (potentially tied in to above)
-Duelling, summoning, etc. clubs with club-exclusive rewards.
-Ravenclaw House quest (like... wtf WB. Come on.)
Feel like there are a few others but those are some of the biggest ones.
Then add my other two wants
2nd, a larger house exclusive side mission, the one we got for the 3 out of 4 house were pretty much blink and you'll miss them type of quests, unless you're Ravenclaw and you were done dirty in that regard.
3rd, this isnt huge or game changing but if you could see the other characters you created walking around the school or hogsmead i think itd be a wonderful little touch. Maybe even dual them or use them as companions.
Fix the broom flying too! It feels so blocky and railroaded, give me the camera freedom to fly one way while looking another
They need to focus on Sebastian. And a few new spells
I jumped back into it yesterday and accidentally found out that fireflies react accordingly to each different spell. The details in this game are insane.
For everyone who owns hogwarts legacy this should be a free upgrade. It can be the same price as the standard edition for people who haven't bought the game before.
Can they actually just fix the Save the Biscuit side quest. Like goodness. 😢😢😢
Can we please use the furniture!?
I honestly wouldn’t buy it. They missed the moment and failed to respond to that. I love what we got but long filled the time. I go back every so often to just wander for a few minutes. But the summer update was absolute BS and the insta pivot to the live service model was an immediate turn off. A second full game would be better, or a substantial dlc and update. But 10-15hrs isn’t gonna do it. And no, y’all need to let Quidditch go
They better let us actual be evil !
Maybe they can fix the existing bugs, like the missing moth in the library.
Creature companions with special abilities would be a great addition.
I'd love to see either DLC or the sequel have the Triwizard's Tournament. It seems like it could be such a great mission.
I liked the mysteries of Hogwarts, but disappointed they were only 3 of them
Yeah I definitely think more story and quests that fit within the current design of everything opposed to new features.
I really want actions and dialogue options to affect the world. Also actual classes. I want to go to wizard school, gosh darn it!!! XD
They should make full remakes of the old games based on all the movies, would be insane with today's gaming technology!
Randomized dungeons so it’s never the same, and meaningful loot/ chest pickups
I think a sandbox mode that you can unlock, by beating the game, that allows you to beable to cast atleast some spells on non-enemy players.
I just want more interactions with our friends and companions 🙏
Gobstones or exploding snap minigames could be a lot of fun.
New Game+ would be great
New mount: flying carpets
I just started playing this game for the first time about 5 days ago. So this only appeared because I was looking up how to solve a puzzle where you turn a vase into a chess piece. what a pleasant surprise. :D
I personally want a game plus to play all houses
And maybe each house has 1 special spell unique to that class but must unlock in a special guest
Would make playing a game plus fun
