I am a Christian learning Arabic and I also find Arabic calligraphy to be an uplifting hobby. I write out passages from the Injeel and the Old Testament as a way of getting better at reading Arabic and to meditate on the words. Even though I differ strongly in my faith, I love the connections I’ve been able to make with Muslims through Arabic and Arabic calligraphy. I thank God for my Muslim friends. Lol, ok. I was expecting to find some stereotypical old cliché of a Muslim, but ended up hearing some real advice that far outpace any of those motivational speakers and life/health guru's advice for life. This is the realest it gets, and I will for sure say that your work is admirable and the dedication and passion is for sure something I can see why you, (as in kids and people in general), would look up to you.

I really loved this Q and A and I can relate to you on so many levels. We’re both Muslim moms trying to balance our family life and art life.
