MW'12 Fun fact: You can automatically recover the tires using reinflate tire upgrade. It is unlockrd by finishing 3rd or higher in any 5 races. (Thank you! :) )
And in MW'12 you actually can swap to reinflate tyres to fix your tyre anywhere then swap back race tyres to escape the cops, or off-road tyres if you off-road.
Gotta point out that in MW2005, you can still drive with the front or rear tires depending if the car is RWD FWD or AWD, so during chase, an AWD car is recommended even if there's only 2 or 3 of them.
I've escaped on all flats in Undercover several times, but I will caution you that it's extremely difficult and time consuming. You'll need skill, familiarity with your car (fwd, awd, or rwd), a lot of patience, and a little luck to find enough pursuit breakers to get the cops off you. It feels rewarding the first 2 or 3 times, but it's just not really worth doing over and over again.
I would agree with you totally, except on the 2 or 3 times as it was literally a hobby i had long ago, to escape the police on undercover (wich i think it has the hardest and most fun police). I've probably done it with literally all my cars from the career
It depends on the Drivetrain of the car. If the front tires popped on a FWD car then it guarantees the death of that run. Same thing applies to the rear tirea on a RWD car.
I managed to escape twice with all 4 tires flat in NFS MW, but in all honesty i think i just got lucky with that, because flat tires is seriously crippling, it already difficult to deal with them with all of your 4 tires not being flat. Eitherway, when your tires popped you're going to feel pretty screwed.
I have also managed to dodge NFS MW 05 cops with all flat tires many years ago and I think I was driving a Viper at that time, it's really difficult but I managed to as I had got rid of many cops already and with luck no other cop car spawned near me.
Fun fact: if you enable speedbreaker in Undercover. The tyres temporarily gets repaired until you turn it off. I didn't know you can permanently repair a Tyre by just changing car damage model lol.
I think drivetrain also has something to do with it. Like what happens if you run over only the front tires or only the rear tires in the Golf in MW05, or an AWD car like the Evo in the same game.
fun fact: in nfs undercover if you turn the damage settings of and then again turn it to maximum or minimum the tires will get fixed alon with the body
Carbon seems to be both realistic and balanced, in a sense of you can't magically reinflate the tires, but it is still quite possible to escape, even though it is much harder and stressful. Next ones are MW2005 and Undercover which are much harder to escape it seems, and the car is just uncontrollable or very slow. I don't know NFS games after MW2012 (cops are stupid easy in this one), but Carbon for me has the best cop chases.
I found chases in Rivals the most intense and cinematic of the series, especially at higher heat levels. And even when you're playing as a cop you feel like things could go wrong at any second
Hitting the spike strip in NFS World also gives a little chance to escape the cops just like Carbon, but it might be kinda unstable. Additional note: In the discontinued NFS Edge, the spike strip became a power item for the players against their opponents.
I love how in Rivals when you get hit by a Spike Strip, and after a few seconds, the tires will automatically reinflate. Especially when you want to head to a gas station to repair your car.
@@alex99x99x It's impossible to escape in MW 2005 when you get hit by a Spike Strip. In Carbon, when you get hit, you have a little time to use the pursuit breakers to wreck those cops and easily find a hiding spot where no backup is around.
Yes, I have once before. No damages on in my setting. My Viper hit the spikes when the cop pushed it sideways and the tyre was flat then I get busted😔😡, then my Viper side piece was gone (one side) and the exhaust also damage (NOS flame should be side but it shoot upward). The damage is permanent and ONLY on these saved files.
in HP2010 : spike strip didnt affect much on gameplay, but it deals a lot of damage, with higher level spike strip ,it can even cost you half your life bar in single hit
i can answer this with my NFS rivals experience: absolutely, if u have the slightest chance, i either use controller or wheel but it's possible either way
The most broken one was in the PS2 Version of NFS Undercover, when you had the Koenigsegg CCX it was in stock already fully upgraded and when I drove through the spikes i was able to evade with still 220-280 Kmh
I'm concerned about the need for speed Carbon you used, because it looks like the Redux version, and i think they changed some stuff in handling, because in the original carbon is not that easy to get speed with all punctured tires or the traction wheels tires punctured. But your effort is undeniable, nice video. i cleaned my keyboard and now it's pressing T over everything. XD
Fun NFS Undercover fact: If your tires are flat, go into the graphics settings menu and select Car Damage Off and get back in the game, and turn the Car Damage On again - ??? - Tires inflated.

In undercover, switching to manual may increase your top speed with flat tires (In some cases). Also is it possible to escape with pursuit breakers (but good luck getting to them)
In NFS UNBOUND it is possible but you need AWD in order to truly get away from the cops, and it doesn’t hurt to evade them on the dirt. Asphalt driving is good ONLY if you get a good uninhibited running start to a Highway where you can gather speed.
NFS Hot pursuit 2010 and Rivals have spike strips as weapon mechanics. so blowing off your tires will always re-inflate after a few seconds. starting from most wanted 2012, and the other open world NFS games with no weapons. tires will always re-inflate at some point Most wanted 2012 is the only nfs that have the tuning upgrade "re-inflatables" which the tires repair themselves much faster than normal this upgrade was somewhat necessary for most wanted races since you need to keep up with a fast opponent and gas repairs are not always available.
Btw people hate it, but my favorite NFS game is undercover due to the crazy ass pursuits wich were more difficult to doge... and yeah i would puncture my tires on porpouse sometimes
I escaped the police once in World with all flat tires and without tires reinflate and instant cool down after I disabled all the cruisers surrounding me with the pursuit breaker and stayed cool down without getting spotted.
on carbor i had 4 tires flattted with aston martin and keeps 97-100 km/h on the highway. on most wanted i think you used the dodger viper which is RWD. i had used i think cobalt ss or somethnig else which was prboably FWD and after flatting 1 of the front tier not even both of them i couldnt even go. car was maxed out as well.

It stops you but it's still possible. Also fun fact, if you manage to do that (happened to me before, no skill pure luck lmao) car tires are not fixed after the police chase. Your only option is jump to garage or enter any race.
In most wanted I escaped the cops with blown front tires cuz I didn’t see the spikes until last minute, carbon I escaped with both right tires blown(with proof), and undercover PS2 I escaped with all 4 blown cuz it was too late when I noticed them..

Just to get a flat and your engine shuts off
I think drivetrain also has something to do with it. Like what happens if you run over only the front tires or only the rear tires in the Golf in MW05, or an AWD car like the Evo in the same game.
One flat in AWD is drivable, but the performance and handling are severely crippled. 150 km/h maximum.
I remember that at one time, in MW, (2005) both wheels on the left side were flat, but despite the struggle, I made it in one piece.
fun fact: in nfs undercover if you turn the damage settings of and then again turn it to maximum or minimum the tires will get fixed alon with the body
I remember one time in NFSC when I managed to escape on all 4 flats. It was extremely difficult, but luck alone has saved me.
I did that twice in Carbon (Viper and Mustang), a combination of skill and sheer luck
Moral of the story: Avoid Spike-Strips. :)
Especially MW'05 ones. If you hit them once, you're done!
in all this games an AWD car handles flats very differently. still easy to control and great speed with any awd.

A tip for undercover, just go to settings and disable/enable damage and the tyres will be back.
nfs mw 2005 handling was one of the reasons why I broke so many wasd keys in my keyboard

Yeah nfs mw handling was too much tight and heavier easy to loose control.
Flat tires do more damage in new game because there are not so many as in old games
10:10 Just give it up. You're running on rims.
All this does is remind me of why MW'05 is still the GOAT.
