Hi mate yere the door is really wide so the door company has made me return it . because the bolts for the door fix in the cavity bit . weird but yere that's why I returned it 👍👍👍👍
@bricklayersworldwithandy6277 o right lol .have never seen that you was on about the cav close stuff lol will have to have a look into some off that stuff for next time never seen it thanks mate 👍👍👍
Great job Mark, it's a shitter when you discover your perps have to be bigger than you like them, but like you say, just got to go with whatever is there.
Im doing a similar job, building inspector wants me to demonstrate the existing walls have full footings or dig it all up. How did you get round building regs for the footings?
We haven't got building regs on this one .just down for alteration.but I have done a few with regs and we had to dig down side and just get the inspection done .and it was fine 👍
@@kingofthetrowel1725 🤣cheers mate .just recently I have started to stick it with expanding foam seems to hold pritty well .if it's a beam with room I will put wood round and screw it .but when it's tight up like this will be I will stick it with expanding foam 👍👍👍
Yere I ditched the powder trying the liquid for the rest it's a lot cheaper doing that way was told it was a little better but who knows 🤣👍👍I hate the stuff
Your not mentally to return the brick work into the inner course because the water tracks into the inside leaf thought you were meant to put in cavity closers
Hi Andy the door company said I had to return it there bolts go into the cavity to hold the door because it's really thick .I put some damp down so hoping that stops it 👍👍👍
Nice one mark . On our farmhouse renovation we’ve put in big lintel instead of a steel . Engineer said yes , lovely and light 😌🧱🧱👍🏼
