Thank you for explaining the level of tinting depending on the widow pane making. I did a double size mirror film to a 1950 door with small window type. Came up pretty good.

How would you advise the owner on how to clean the film inside. For example: Could they use a glass cleaner and soft towel on the film?

yes absolutely, just make sure the glass cleaner does not have ammonia in it as the ammonia may damage the tint with long time usage. Sprayaway glass cleaner is a great one and available just about everywhere (supermarkets, home depot, etc)

Very nice thanks. Is the mirror on both sides or does it mirror on the side with more light

this was Silver, so mirror on both sides. Dual Reflective would be the best choice for mirror on the side with more light.

Why is the adhesive side, on the side facing you instead of stick to the glass?

The adhesive side is facing the glass. If it wasn’t, you would know right away, especially when the squeegee hits it.

Could have pulled seals on side for no gap at all.

Does this solar film go on the outsdie of the glass? If not, why is it mirrored on the non-adhesive side? Seems odd to have film on the interior of a window that's mirrored inward.

This film goes on the interior, but the mirror effect will be seen on the side of the stronger light source ... so during the day, thats the sun, so the mirror effect is on the outside, giving the people inside privacy
At night however, when the lights are on inside, and it is dark outside, it will work the opposite way, with the mirror being on the inside, and someone outside being able to clearly see in.
It works the same way when you see a high rise building that during the day looks like a mirror, but at night, you can see into any offices that have the lights on.

Way too much noise in the shop & way too much talking by the tattoo guy
