    I just don’t know how to thank you enough! You are truly the best teacher ever!!! You give up your time to make really helpful and beneficial videos for us, helping us at the most stressful times of the year. Thank you so much, there’s so much respect for you!

    Thank you so much for all the effort you put into your videos for us! I don't think people realise how much hard work and dedication this takes, especially while you have other things going on. Your videos have helped me a lot and I really appreciate the small tips for exams, if it wasn't for you today's F324 would have gone even worse!

      RubbaDuckZillaKilla That's very kind of you to say so. You're very welcome. By the sounds of it, the whole country found the F324 exam awful so the exam board will hopefully adjust the grade boundaries accordingly. Good luck for F325 on Monday. Thanks again for your comment.

    Will the pH at equivalence be slightly below 7 for any salt, or only for those formed via ammonia?

    • @MaChemGuy
      @MaChemGuy  4 роки тому

      Lucia Hughes only if the salt contains an ion that can donate a proton e.g ammonium ion

    Hi sir,
    there is something I don't understande about titration curves.
    why is it that, that one drop makes the pH rise like that?
    just before that drop, isn't the concentration of acid and alkali nearly equal?
    if it is, why is the pH value so low?
    Thank you so much for your videos though, it helps a lot :)

      really late but i think it has something to do with the fact that pH is a logarithmic scale

    will the equivalence point pH always be 7?

      Strong - strong yes

    so the for strong acid, weak base one, if we wrote HCl + NH3 to just give NH4Cl, would we get penalised? because we can still derive the equilibrium that takes place when NH4 dissociates? thanks

      That would be fine :)
