Thanks again for these make ahead ideas! I go back to them over and over. I ordered the cookbook today. It’s great! I would love you to add a recipe each year and promote the cook book at the same time. Have a Happy Thanksgiving, praising our a lord and Savior.
I just made this. Unfortunately I did not have any orange juice, so I omitted that ingredient all together. It still turned out delicious! The color is very vibrant, and the thyme wrapped it all together! I love the ease of the recipe and I will be offering to make this for our next family holiday potluck. Thank you for this!
Thankyou Noreen. I usually use butter and brown sugar with a sprinkle of both clove and allspice, trying to duplicate the taste of my great aunts carrots and it's not the same but it is delicious!
Hello Noreen. I came across your recipe this morning for honey glazed carrots so I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I found the delicious recipe, and thank you for sharing it. For my Sunday dinner I made stewed chicken with rice, green beans, and your honey glazed carrots which went very well the other sides. I'm adding your recipe to my collection...!!! 😉
My son and I don’t like carrots but my husband and other son do so I was looking for something that makes them taste better for us and after using this recipe we both or all us us ate the carrots and myself and my son were able to eat then they were so good ty
this recipe is exactly what I have been looking for! I know you grow your own herbs and am just wondering if your thyme is fresh? I have both. I have been going through your recipes like a mad woman, I have learned alot!! thank you Noreen!
Ha wow i just made boiled baby carrots yesterday . yours look awesome . i had mines along side spaghetti noodles and clam sauce lol. Sounds nasty but perfect together.

Just want you to know ! Your videos are wonderful.... I love that you just get to the point ! TY FROM W.V. hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving 2018 !
I don’t eat carrots but I’m making these for Christmas. If I wanted to just boil them, do I just make them fork tender before moving forward with the process in the video?
You can but slowly. If you time everything correctly you will have room in your oven. That turkey should not take that long and can be cooked off first then rested, carved and put in pans. Then there is room in the oven for everything to be heated up that you have prepared in advance. When I spatchcock a turkey it never takes more than two hours to cook.
This is a perfect side for Thanksgiving dinner... I am going to add it to my feast... Have you ever added cranberries to this dish ? What do you think of that idea ?
I said you need to start with steamed carrots. I cooked mine in the pressure cooker but you can cook yours however you like. You just need to start with them steamed, tender crisp.
You would either put them in the microwave with some water, covered with plastic wrap for 5 minutes or you can steam them on the stove with a pot and a steamer rack until tender crisp.

Want to make ahead for Thanksgiving...can I reheat in a pan on top of stove...no room in oven on Turkey Day????

Silly question, Noreen.. Do you use Clover honey for this recipe? Thanks!
Wildflower honey or local honey.
How long do you steam the carrots if you do not have a pressure cooker?
Until they are soft but not mushy
Can you sub out the orange juice for apple juice instead?
Looks lovely and delicious. Hugs Noreen❤️
This is a perfect side for Thanksgiving dinner... I am going to add it to my feast... Have you ever added cranberries to this dish ? What do you think of that idea ?
I never have but I make cranberry sauce so I am pretty sure it would be a nice accompaniment.

I understand how do I steam them without a pressure cooker.

Not trying to be difficult. Thanks for the info.
