Thanku for watching.
A pity that there was never a Star Trek roleplaying game for singleplayer. The whole franchise is tailormade for a good RPG in the Style of Mass Effect or Baldurs Gate, but nobody really made one.
I vote for King's Quest type of games.
Resurgence came out earlier this year with zero fanfare, and might be one of the best Star Trek games ever made. The developers got Trek right.
Agreed. For me it's the best Star Trek game after 25th Anniversary on PC followed by Star Trek Online.
Klingon Academy will always be my favorite.
This is brilliant LLAP🖖
In short, a good *Star Trek* game is rarer than mid-22nd century dilithium.
I'm not a Star Trek fan at all, but Deep Space 9 The Fallen is my personal favourite.
Starfleet Command was a decent series. Based on tabletop games. Bridge Commander was THE GAME, but suffered bcause a lot of bugs. Those are those i played and enjoyed myself.
Hmm, there have certainly been some I have thoroughly enjoyed.
25th Anniversary
Judgement Rites
Bridge Commanders
Starfleet Command 1, 2 and 3.
Biggest disappointment was Birth of The Federation. Never ran well on the machine I had.
@@winterbas8927 You didn't miss much, it was basically a tedious, micromanagement-heavy slower version of MoO.
I played it on Win10 x64 with a bunch of man-made compatibility patches, the only real issue I had after getting it set up was maybe the videos?
I couldn't get the Starfleet Command games to work yet, unfortunately.
The other games you mentioned are all very good, I got them on GOG back before their sister company CD Projekt RED proved itself multiple kinds of shitty -- despite the hassle my bank caused.
how strange, knowing how today's computers and consoles are powerful , with terabits of ram , multi-cores processors , not to mention GPU
Feels like Star Trek have game identity crisis, because the main purpose of the entire story is about space exploration and life discoveries (friendly or hostile), thats how Klingon and Romulan species appeared as well of many others.
Klingon Academy is still the best Trek game ever made.
Beautiful universe of Star Trek deserves a game like Elite Dangerous...
Totally agree
Definitely!
It is sad that Star Wars fans gets BF2 and Star Trek fans get these silly games. I love both franchise. I just wish they give us a good Star Trek game.
Unpopular opinion: I think any Star Trek video games should go in the same direction both Star Trek elite force and Star Trek invasion and any Star Wars video game right now in the present day getting made
Star Trek 25th NES was my favorite game as a kid. First game I ever finished.
i played so many of these :D
Cool games I like it
good video, but
whats with Star Trek The video game (2013)
Man there have been A LOT of really bad ST games...
I'm missing the 70s Star Trek games on the Commodore PET and other early computers.
Missing the third person shooter one for the xbox 360 and playstation 3.
They should make a Witcher 3 like exploration and discovery kind of Star Trek game
I swear to god the music from the Starship Creator games sounds just like Bells of Laguna Bend, is there a full version of it kicking about somewhere?
The music in Starship Creator is production music by Megatrax
Here's a playlist with all the tracks:

I wanna see King's Quest series style game for Star Trek. Forget about shoot'em up. There are plenty. They should use the vast star trek universe to make some epic Role Playing Games.
I laughed at the StalwartUK call out.
I really would play every single game
Missed one game based on movie franchise by jj Abraham
You forgot Star Trek Phaser Strike for the Microvision I’m 1979
Since i´m a huge fan of Master of Orion, i loved to play Birth of Federation. Elite Force and Armada is stil awesome today 🖖
Oh man, I loved Birth of the Federation!
Space War could be considered a Trek game.
I wish enterprise got its own game instead of tie ins with others
In short:
Star ship combat games are the stronger part of Trek gaming.
I wish there were
a lego Star Trek game, on PS4
Lego would have to get the license to create star trek sets. I for myself hope they will never get the license.
You forgot about the third-person shooter game based on the first JJ Abrams film
Elite force I and II are perfect
Where is Star Trek 2013?
Umm where are sfc2 and Klingon academy the two best st pc games
Klingon Academy was on there
I really like this game
WTF are these giant scorpion things at the end?
Cái này hay nè, cần thân tàu kiểu mới như 2021
Why is the quality of the newer games so bad ?
It's a return to average after the mostly-good MMO -- officially-licensed *Star Trek* games have always been a mixed bag, as shown.
Even *The Kobayashi Maru Alternative* was extremely buggy.
like most other things in life, newer, modern things are mostly inferior in quality but superior in flash.
@@sacamentobob Even in "flash" it's bad. Atleast Star Wars games look good these days.
@@johncarl5505 I just end up trying these newer games but not playing them or not finishing them.
And I have Star Trek online House united
Loved BOTF and Armada 1 and 2! Amazing how far its all come, playing New Horizons mod for Stellaris right now!
Star Trek Ps3
