As a landrover owner my mind was blown when you stated you were blessed by coils YET somehow added the air bags eeeeekkk. I mean they are tucked inside the coils which wont ever crap out on you. My 2004 disco is in need of some love so im using this & other videos to get the fires roaring. Love the roof rack & tire rack 👌 enjoy & always remember whenever dealing with Landover, they choose Lucas the prince of darkness soooooo yeah know the deal lol ....
People should be saying, "I'm doing it Dirt Life...style" when they make vids in the future. Best offroad channel around, keep the content coming Nate.
Let's be real, everyone should be more like Nate. I feel like he is a pretty wholesome, hardworking dude. The world would more than likely be a better place if we could all be a little more Nate-like.
Episode 97 of the Land Rover build... worth each video. Thanks for the detail Nate, it is sometimes hard to comprehend just how much work goes into a build. If you need a layover in North Idaho as you come by, hit me up.
Thoroughly enjoy your fab videos as much as your offroad videos, that’s saying something as most channels either are good at one or the other, your bring full circle! Thanks Nate!
I was really hoping to see the axle install and all the custom engine components. Can't get enough. Best off-road channel on UA-cam. Yes, to the rear sway bar!
Yes please do the video for the sway bar! You are so good at explaining vehicle components that sharing a video, I'm positive, would be helpful to many! And awesome video! I was looking forward to this! Thank you!
Nice kit love your sharing the how, and why condensed in this vid, that you have done it Nate. At the beginning of this buy n build you obviously had a great vision for the end product. I want to compliment you on smashing through the build, and changes and video editing with sound tracks etc all lots of effort behind the scenes. Thankyou.
Wow! Very nice build and design. Everything is meticulously designed and well build. I’ve been watching all your videos since the start. Very inspirational! Thank you.
I am sure you are more excited about the Land Rover being drivable and able to test it out than any of us ever could be. You have put in so much work into this awesome vehicle!! I am pumped to see what adventures you take this rig on! Can’t wait to see what is next. Awesome video Nate!!
I just have to say that I did the same thing with airbags in my disco 1 about two years ago. Originally I did it as temporary set up until my new springs came in (back ordered after back order damn covid). So I gave up and just left it as is, no issues yet. Love the work, great build.
The roof rack and bumper are just awesome! You’ve really done what anyone who owns a disco or wants to and yearns to wheel it reliably would do. Can’t wait for you to get this on the trail and do some over landing!
Nate, you are a master craftsman. I do not miss any of your video's and anxiously wait for the next one to come out. I don't care what you build and have only positive comments on anything you do. I wouldn't care even if you were build a Yugo. This Land Rover is the "ultimate build"! Keep them coming!
That is definitely how the D2 V8 should sing. Sexy as! Truck looks fantastic cobber, cant wait to get into the build series...... but then you mentioned taking a trip. Going to have to view the shake down trip first :). Cheers for sharing.
I like the way you made the step on the rock slider. The ends of it allow you to go forward or backward and not get locked in with a rock/bolder on the front or back. I think that was a smart design!
I definitely want to see a sway bar video! Just found your channel and now I’ll have to go back and watch everything. I have an 04’ that I’ve had for just about three years. I did a complete engine rebuild on that thing and have been driving it ever since. Your video definitely sparked a lot of inspiration to continue my build and start investing money into anything other the engine. Keep it up man!
Somebody help me out here... When Nate turns on the air compressors, does anyone else here the beginning of an 80's arcade game? Tempest comes to mind, but I'm not sure that's it. Kinda cool actually. Regardless, this is one very cool build Nate, you should be really proud!
Those gull wing Openings using the windows as storage it’s so good. I have a XJ and I Never see through that window and all that space is storage anyway so it makes sense. I will looking into building something similar. Thank you for these awesome videos
AWESOME Build/Work Nate! As ALWAYS! It is so nice to see a regular guy doing it himself (like most of us) and not just buying everything. You BUILD your rigs! Keep it up man! I agree with Logan....... "I'm doing it Dirt Life......style".
I think it would be very interesting to see the sway bar retro fit. part of the reason I like your channel is that I learn different ideas of things I can do for my truck and the wifes jeep (when I get time), I think it would good information on the problems you have to overcome by putting a sway bar on that wasn't designed for it.
Regarding your tire carrier, I don't understand why folks dwell on situations that only take place on 1% of the time. Your spot on with your design. It's very functional and I really don't think you'll be opening the tire carrier where it interferes with traffic. Your a braver soul than me putting your thoughts and ideas out on the interwebs for armchair QBs to criticize. Keep up the great work brother.
I actually watched the roof-rack build, and I came back recently and watched it again. that was a great build. I am more interested in the rack you built for your one ton truck, though; because I want to build one for my truck, so I can put a rooftop tent on the back, and I liked the way you made it to lift in the front, so you can have your toolbox upfront and still access it. I really liked that. I just need to go and buy some square tubing like what you used on that build! Great content, Nate! If there is a playlist in the first video of this series, I overlooked it or maybe you just haven't added it there, but it would be a great idea to put it there if you haven't. I really had a hard time finding all the videos in this series and there is a lot of knowledge in this series to learn from since you shared the failures and success! Awesome job, Nate! I noticed that some people don't like to share the failures. I think that is one of the things I like about your channel. I've mentioned him before, but Karl Fisher's channel, "Make It Kustom" shares the good and the bad and does metal fabrication. I'm wanting to do some panels for my truck door, so I wish I had a bead roller and English Wheel; because Karl gets into shaping metal and repairing metal and all that. I actually need a good sandbag as well and a vinyl hammer to do what I want to do or attempt to do lol watching Brad on Trailrecon led me to watching your how to videos, and watching your videos really interested me more in fabrication, and Make It Kustom started showing up on suggested videos, and I started watching some of his stuff, and that just has so many things to do with shaping metal, fixing metal and all that. I don't know if I would tackle some of the things you have done but it is inspiring and educating, but there are some things that I feel like I could do, and one of them is a rack for my truck and the other is the wiring you done for a second battery using and isolator. That was a great video! I want to add lights to my truck and a second battery, so I can put a frig in the back when I want to go camp, and I can camp a few days and run that frig on a second battery without having to worry about it draining my main battery. Lots of inspiration for so many practical things. I'm even thinking of how I can use some thin gauge metal to enclose my rack, and use the idea you used to remove the window on the back of your Land Rover and make a hatch door in it's place. I could maybe make a wider one that locks and make access to some bens for tools and gear! Great videos, Nate. I'm glad you make the videos!
You should also install solar panels for backup power, and a inverter plug up system for small appliances. And also rebuild the rear bumper into a winch bumper, and add a 360° camera setup so you can see behind you while driving through heavy trail brush or highway use for blind spots
I would really enjoy seeing the sway bar video. Thank you very much! I have an 84 ramcharger, I am working on building her for an overlander and your input is very valuable. Thank you again.
airbags was a smart idea for being able to adjust for a shelf road, especially, when you are leaning. I actually watched the video yesterday when you really needed that on a trail you chose to avoid forest fires that were in the area you actually wanted to be in. Looks like a really tough Land Rover!
Looks super sweet buddy,, i have watched the series as you made them and really looked forward to this video of it being mostly finished .. beautiful craftsmanship…
Great job on wrapping up disco version 1.0. Love the build of something different that will more then serve it purpose. NOW GET ON WITH THE TDI BUILD WILL YA!!! 😁
I absolutely love this thing. By far one of my favorite overland rigs EVER!! keep this kinda shit up man!! Your videos have really pushed me to start my own build project. Hope it looks and is half as functional as your Land Rover!!
As a landrover owner my mind was blown when you stated you were blessed by coils YET somehow added the air bags eeeeekkk. I mean they are tucked inside the coils which wont ever crap out on you. My 2004 disco is in need of some love so im using this & other videos to get the fires roaring. Seeing how to mount a sway bar with some kind of disconnect would be pretty cool
There's a company over in the uk called x-eng that utilises a freewheeling hub & a long halfshaft.
Go see Les Ritchmond automotive discovery 2 with disconnecting swaybars(and other things). It's a really good mod. Cheers
Yeah like a quick disconnect type of pin or something instead of bolt.
The d2 has ace that basically disconnects the swaybar i think
People should be saying, "I'm doing it Dirt Life...style" when they make vids in the future. Best offroad channel around, keep the content coming Nate.
Thank you for the giant compliment! Happy to have you aboard brother 👊
Let's be real, everyone should be more like Nate. I feel like he is a pretty wholesome, hardworking dude. The world would more than likely be a better place if we could all be a little more Nate-like.
TrailRecon, FabRats, Matts Offroad Recovery not to shabby....and many others.
@@DirtLifestyle you got s/duty axles,you need s/duty hydro boost.
@@DirtLifestyle I have a 2000 Nissan Frontier with 509,450 Miles and my KNOCK Sensor put me in limp mode, is this a hard fix?
Absolutely the sickest disco ever. Bravo brother
Such an awesome rig!!!
Absolutely the best looking bubble top disco I’ve seen. Tube work. Stance. It all comes together nicely. Great job 👍
Bubble top?
Great to se the Disco on the road! I'm looking forward to seeing how she does offroad and on the camping trails!
The hulk couldn’t even flex this hard. Good shit man
Lol
Episode 97 of the Land Rover build... worth each video. Thanks for the detail Nate, it is sometimes hard to comprehend just how much work goes into a build. If you need a layover in North Idaho as you come by, hit me up.
Would definitely be interested in a sway bar video, great job on the whole rig!
Thanks!

I never really even considered a Disco until you built this sexy machine. Can't wait to see more videos on this beast!
That airbag setup is 🔥- def. want that. And the exhaust tone is perfect!! Your disco sounds mint!!
Rig looks great, sounds great and there will always be online nerds that tell you what you're doing is wrong. Keep up the great work
Yeah show the sway bar install. I love to learn all I can! I love this channel! Nate you are first class on UA-cam
Great to see the Disco out o the road. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thoroughly enjoy your fab videos as much as your offroad videos, that’s saying something as most channels either are good at one or the other, your bring full circle! Thanks Nate!
Those seats look hella comfortable. That’s a really nice rig!
This has motivated me to build my overland truck the way I want and not settle. Keep up the work its awesome.
Do it! You will be happy you put the time in and made it how you want it 👍
I was really hoping to see the axle install and all the custom engine components. Can't get enough. Best off-road channel on UA-cam. Yes, to the rear sway bar!
You did an exceptional job on that rover. This is just another reason why I was hooked on the dirt lifestyle after my first video. Keep it up man!
I'm got to say, everything fits. It looks like it should. My favorite part is the back. The tire carrier the table set up and all. A big 👍
Much appreciated 🙏
Wow! You packed more content in to your 1 video than many others provide in 3 months! And WHAT A BUILD! Congrats!
Yes please do the video for the sway bar! You are so good at explaining vehicle components that sharing a video, I'm positive, would be helpful to many! And awesome video! I was looking forward to this! Thank you!
Sweet build Nate! Bad ass and one of a kind!!!
One of the raddest rovers I've ever seen
awesome build, one of the best looking and functional ones out there
SHE LIVES! Epic Build Nate! Love the series!

That is one tough looking disco. Great build overview. Yes on the sway bar install. Thanks
I am sure you are more excited about the Land Rover being drivable and able to test it out than any of us ever could be. You have put in so much work into this awesome vehicle!! I am pumped to see what adventures you take this rig on! Can’t wait to see what is next. Awesome video Nate!!
Build looks great. Yes for video of rear swaybar install.
im ready for the low buck diesel truck build to continue !
I just have to say that I did the same thing with airbags in my disco 1 about two years ago. Originally I did it as temporary set up until my new springs came in (back ordered after back order damn covid). So I gave up and just left it as is, no issues yet. Love the work, great build.
Wow. What a fantastic build. Love the way this one turned out
Disco vids are best vids
Best rover I’ve seen in every way, the big foot hanging from the mirror is kind of annoying but that’s it. Stay cool and muddy brother.
The roof rack and bumper are just awesome! You’ve really done what anyone who owns a disco or wants to and yearns to wheel it reliably would do. Can’t wait for you to get this on the trail and do some over landing!
Such a dream build. I’d do it basically all the same. Well done, dude. She looks like such a beaut! 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽
Really excited to see this one on the trail
I watched all of the design, fabrication, and sweat has gone into this rig and I'm still blown away by the finished project. It's beautiful, dude
Seeing how to do a custom sway bar set up would be bad ass. Please make that video
You need to be at Overland Expo with this! Awesome!

I can’t imagine any other better way to do a descriptive video than this one. Outstanding!!! Great content.
I like the way you made the step on the rock slider. The ends of it allow you to go forward or backward and not get locked in with a rock/bolder on the front or back. I think that was a smart design!
I Very much enjoyed this build Thanks Nate. Awesome Channel !!!
love to see the sway bar video any video with customizing and fabing is awsome
I hope you enjoy this thing, it’s a badass build and you did a great job designing and building it.
I did the Barnes tie rod kit after watching your video. Really good quality and not complicated to build!
Nice! I'm happy to hear that. Truly a great company
I love what you did here! Its badass! a rear sway bar build would be something id be interested in too
I definitely want to see a sway bar video!

Thanks!
down to watch a video on the rear sway bar, also I'm thankful for having such an awesome channel to watch and get inspired from

Legit build bro! Thanks for sharing, loving the content
I’m amazed at how much I like this disco. Hated my own so thanks for convincing me I need to try another one 😂🤣😂🤦♂️
I say if you have the items to put one together film it and share it. I think seeing the fabrication work is mesmerizing to watch.
Awesome rig 💪🏻👍
Such a sick Rig!
Really fantastic build. I appreciate how much detail you go into your decision making too as its helped with my build and planning.
I’m so excited for you to see this rig on the road!!! And that axle is gorgeous🔥🙌
I would really enjoy seeing the sway bar video. Thank you very much! I have an 84 ramcharger, I am working on building her for an overlander and your input is very valuable. Thank you again.
I'm always trying to retro fit sway bars to different rigs so, YES!! MAKE A VID!
yes the tires and the wheels look might nice on that land rover.
What an awesome build, Well done!

I love how that turned out enjoyed watching the process.

@@DirtLifestyle I plan on implementing alot of your designs into my land cruiser. Thanks for the videos man

The air bags will also help you level out when setting up camp, for the tent. =D Awesome design dude, you should be all set.
Great build. See you on trail soon!
Such a great job. An inspiration of do it yourself
Great job on wrapping up disco version 1.0. Love the build of something different that will more then serve it purpose. NOW GET ON WITH THE TDI BUILD WILL YA!!! 😁
Love this build! Enjoying the journey with you! Thanks for sharing Nate!
Great work Nate, love the build👍
Everything looks great bro nice rig
Never fails man awesome custom, creative and one bad ass rover ...🤙🏻
I absolutely love this thing. By far one of my favorite overland rigs EVER!! keep this kinda shit up man!! Your videos have really pushed me to start my own build project. Hope it looks and is half as functional as your Land Rover!!
An outstanding build! We've enjoyed watching the progress as we've been building our Discovery.
