One of my favorite music producers and songwriters. A legend. And yes, He uses preset sounds. That's why they're there on a keyboard or software synth. Use them. They're preset for you to use.
He is not underrated >> he is already a legend >> Producers back in the day especially where not in the spotlight , unless they where also an artists on the track. Sometimes it was a personal choice - not everyone craves attention but for most part is the contract You are on with the record label. These days there is more freedom since you are not really forced into anything and you dont need to get a devils contracts in order to get access to tools/people in order to make music.
Flako Bravo you think he gets his just dues? Seriously? That man produced some of the past two decades most popular music. YES THE MAN IS GREATLY UNDERRATED. 👍
He is in everyone's top producer category, And hailed as one of the pioneers in multiple categories of music. If you think he's underrated you're the one under rating him.
This man is an absolute REAL ONE. He's talented, smart, he's experienced ups and downs and has come out on top. No many people can say they've done what he's done.
Actually humans are amazing beings. Doesn't have to be an outside supernatural force for people to create amazing things. You don't give people enough credit.
Tom, you’re a Canadian legend man. Truly one of the best interviewers I’ve listened to. Cheers to Scott too. He’s behind a lot more bangers than I realized. That ‘let me love you’ - Mario shout out at the end was Chefs kiss for me. One of those songs I’ve always enjoyed.
There may never be a man that had such an influence on so many others musically in such a positive way regardless of his own lifestyle and what perils it may have had SCOTT THE TORCH SCORCH thank you for blessing the music industry with your natural born skills.
Damn, Dre knew talent when he saw it. He was talent himself. But, Scott was such a massive variable in the evolution of the early sounds of the century. It would be amazing to see Dre and Scott connect again. One LOVE, all forgiven Dre... call Scott.
I started watching this with a good amount of skepticism because of the way he has been portrayed but the media in the past. But I could not have been more wrong. Of course you can never really know someone through a 25 min UA-cam interview, but he comes across as a likable guy and someone who is extremely passionate about his craft. He also seems to be humble and extraordinarily honest, despite some parts of his past that would make it easier to be neither.
I can see why artists would love to visit a show like this. Somebody who asks real questions about their craft and life, has done their homework, is respectful, etc. Strombo made the template for this type of music journalism.
that was a fail on not playing the song he mentioned on the outro. Im happy to see Scott happy. Scotty feeling secure and confident; relaxed doing his thing is guaranteed to generate the foundations that countless hit sounds or entire records are built upon. Those kinds of creations that blow up fast but last and last because they've been built upon a solid foundation, not sand and silt.
Wow, what an interview! Calm atmosphere, microphone gets fixed a coule minutes into the interview so not really a problem... amazing prepared questions by the interviewer and nice, calm and open responses by Scott. Great follow-up questions by the interviewer as well. Really enjoyed watching! Never knew that Scott Storch wrote the still DRE tune, always wondered like: "Damn, the dude that wrote that once upon a time is a legend" and only found out it was Scott today! Lovely!
Was listening to a compilation of Scotts ''best beats'' hear on UA-cam and I thought Let Me Love You was probably the best. What do u know, Scott loves it also👌👌👌🏆🏆
I was like a receiving satellite… exactly my experience when “in the zone” producing. Then when I forget it and listen back 2 months later it’s like, did I make that?
I've heard the name before but I never knew who Scott Storch was what's that song with Erykah Badu by Roots in is one of my favorite chill jams just the chord progressions in off key it just gives me chills I love it. And I'm a pro bassist that plays anything from 70s funk to Korn. I say Scott Storch is definitely underrated, this shows you don't have to be classically trained in music theory to be a musician much respect bro
I feel you but then again every time I listen to the stuff I use to bump, it doesn't hit the same. I can say that some of todays music is trash and gimmicky but there are some creative sounds out there too. The beat game has definitely gotten better.
this man deserves a lot more respect and recognition than what he gets.
One of my favorite music producers and songwriters. A legend. And yes, He uses preset sounds. That's why they're there on a keyboard or software synth. Use them. They're preset for you to use.
Pure Genius producer. Mr.Storch
he can make any tone sound great. he plays melodies that fit the sound, instead of tweaking sounds to fit the melody.
fick youtube losing my comment
@@trs8696 He could make the number 3 button on a touch tone phone slap.
All sounds are preset by nature. We just find them.
Good times.
Absolute legend. I still can’t believe how much he dominated the 2000’s. It really is incredible.
The Great Scott Storch
Scott is family ✡✡✡

You're an idiot if you think hes underrated
