Creative & present are lovely words for your year! I’m also taking a kinder perspective on goal setting this year and have instead listed ‘would like to do’ goals and taking on any when I feel comfortable and excited to, like releasing my first crochet pattern! This year I’m planning on ticking off designing and crocheting a granny square cardigan and top 🧶☺️
I am so proud of you for finally releasing your first pattern! 🥳 You were actually one of the people I thought about regarding "gentle goals"! 🥰 I love following what excites you and I think it's key in your creative journey rather than what we think we "should do".

I didn't realize you live in Canada too. I live in southern Ontario. Its nice to find more vloggers from Canada. I think the jewel tones are definitely the best colours for you. I am also very tall, and know what you mean about jumpsuits being too short in the body. How about the Deer and Doe Sirocco jumpsuit? I haven't made it yet, but it is waiting to be sewn. Apparently it is very comfortable to wear and can be dressy or casual and best of all would look gorgeous on you.
The Deer and Doe Sirocco jumpsuit looks super cosy and dressed up at the same time! I will definitely add it as a potential make - thank you! 🥰
I also always love finding fellow Canadians here on UA-cam - I am in Montreal myself (hence the better fabric selection).
Love the goals! I think I’ve been reflecting on what I want to make too, and realized that the items I wear and make that are my favourites are the ones with interesting details and textures that make me feel the most me wearing them. I often find that the things I’m wearing feel too plain to me, or things I make feel too plain. So I’m done with that! I’m focusing on making more creative things that I’ll be excited to wear. Perhaps the exceptions will be when I’m expanding my skills to make garments that fit me better.

I love the new hair style. It looks great on you. I'm hoping to finally get all my mending done this year, and to work through my UFO pile. I checked it the other day and discovered some things I had totally forgotten. One is almost done, I don't remember why I stopped working on it, but I think it's time I finished it. Not going to start anything new until I finish a few things. Shannon Makes made a really cute vintage inspired jump suit on her channel, I think it was an old pattern, but I don't remember.

@Miss Matti her jumpsuit was made from recycled towels, and she uses it as a warm-up suit before she goes on stage.

Yes. I decided not to enter any quilt shows. This has already taken a lot of pressure off of me.
💜I would probably put a lot of pressure on myself too if I entered one. 😅
