Thanks for this tutorial, you made it really easy! Just a hint-you can also rotate the Bitmoji images too if you want her sitting in the opposite direction. Flips the hairstyle if you have a part on one side, but otherwise it works!
You can actually flip your bitmoji so that she sits facing the other way. Since she is already facing the left side, you have to click on the right side of blue border around our bitmoji and drag it across your bitmoji going to the left. It will turn your bitmoji so she is now facing the other side. Hope that makes sense.

So the upload photo feature for the banners this year is weird. Every time I upload a photo it is super zoomed in. If I upload a slide saved as a PNG or jPEG with the banner dimensions it says that it isn't a large enough pixel file. I think google classroom must have changed some things. Any advice?
WHen I change my banner, the buttons also change colour. Id like to keep my theme colours pink, but no matter what colour background I choose for the banner, I cannot seem to get the pink theme back. HELP!

Hello, I created my slide following your directions. However, I went to save as png but then I try and place as my banner, it asks me to crop it. Page set up is on widescreen 16:9 When I change it to pixels 2000x 400 it distorts everything
I would go back to Slides, go to Page Setup under File, and change the image size to 2000 by 400 PIXELS. Change the units to pixels before changing the values because Slides converts when you change the units. Then save as a png again and upload to Classroom. Good luck! Let me know if that works or not.
Art Teacher NC - you can either share the slides with them and ask them to add their own or they can email or text their bitmojis to you for you to add. Otherwise, you can create new bitmoji accounts and make bitmojis for them and use them. If you choose the last method, I find it easier to do that with the app on my phone. Have fun!

I downloaded it then drag it from download at the bottom of the page. The image is very dark.
Unfortunately, that is something that Google does to make sure that you can see the class name overlay. There is nothing you can do about that.

Why is it so much darker when uploaded?

Try remove.bg! It works really well for removing the backgrounds of images.
