Hi, Katherine. You said you don't know how to select the portion you want to screenshot when its not a Mac. Simultaneously click windows/shift/S. The screen will become gray and you can place and drag the crossbars across the area you want screenshot. Then click the printscreen key. It saves to your clipboard, which appears in the corner of your screen. Click on that and immediately save it to your pictures. Then continue to follow your "insert" steps on google slides. Thanks for your videos - they are so so helpful!
Please make more videos about how you use bitmoji for remote learning (fun activities, engagement from afar, etc), your live lessons and how you make those engaging and anything else that you do that makes remote learning more tolerable! I find your videos very helpful
Thank you! Another option for students not to click and move what you have created is adding the google slides to your google sites. They are still able to click on links and turn to different slides. Also as you update your slides it also updates on your google site automatically!
Another trick to know if an image has a transparent background is that if in the gallery view it has no grid but when you click on the image there is a grid it means that there is no background.
I have really enjoyed learning from your 'easy to understand' tutorials. I do have a couple of questions and I sure hope that I am clear in asking. 1) Do you use a bitmoji classroom every time you create a lesson? One for each subject? 2) Do you use Brightspace as your platform? If so, how do you upload an interactive bitmoji classroom as a lesson/assignment?
I have a question as I am new to making Bitmoji classroom. So I guess I’m a little confused about all the different slides because I have a bunch of slides that are not my correct Bitmoji they are stuff that I’m kind of saving as I’m going along. Can I just use one slide with my complete Bitmoji scene and just change the video daily but keep the same set up for right now? I’m confused what I will be sending to my students will they see all these slides that I am just saving? I just want to save things in case I do things later but I’m just making one that will be the same one that will be used. So since I haven’t done this before when I do send the link out I just want them to be able to see the one slide with the interaction links that I put there will that work without them seeing my other slides that I have created for just saving things?
Thank you so much for these instructional videos! I wish I'd known about this sooner! I'll be all set though should schools remain closed in the fall! One question - how do I share this with my parents/students if I do not have Google Classroom?
Thanks for the videos. I'm wondering if I can add as a link an assignment from google classroom that is posted as each student will get a copy? And once they access it, if they have to go back to work on it the next day or week will the link still work or will they need to get it from their google drive? Thank you so much for your help.
How do you record your videos where you share your screen while having a little video of your face talking? I love it and thinks kids would like to see this more than just hearing my voice.
Thank you! I have learned so much from your tutorials. I posted a question but please help. How do you make slides accessible for your students? If they want to revisit and do extra reading later on the day do you email or post slides....if yes how?
For WINDOWS, you all have a PrintScreen button right above the number keys. It will copy the screen, then you just Paste and crop it any size you like.
Hi, very helpful video! How do you make the google meet linked to your google classroom and the kids cant log in until you are in the meet? Thank you 😊
Hi Katherine - I love watching your tutorials. You are a great presenter! Could you tell me how/where you post your slides? For instance, do you create an entire slideshow with all of the slides that you just presented, and give students viewing rights so that they can access all of them on one slide show at any time? Hope that makes sense...I am trying to figure out how the best way to use my bitmoji slides in my middle school classroom.
Your videos are great! Thank you! I have a question...Sometimes when I attach a link it (the url) will show up on the picture (in light blue. Why does this happen and how do I get rid of it? Thanks
I know how to add a link. My question is this - if I add a link to a google doc, how can students "turn in". Google Forms just collects the data. What if I have a worksheet linked in my bitmoji classroom and want each student to turn it in without adding a separate link to the assignment under classwork?
Lovely idea to embed UA-cam videos into the Bitmoji room!
You've really got an eye for designing these virtual rooms. Your rooms look gorgeous!!

Thank you so much for sharing this! It so clear and not too fast either. Highly recommended.
Katherine, this is really great. Thank you.
this was the best I needed to know how to insert a video to my class

I use the "Snipping Tool" in Microsoft to pull images/content - similar to screen shot.
Thank you. So clear. Thank you for showing how to remove a background in images.

I learned some great new tips! Thank you!!

I'm wondering the same thing. Have you found an answer to that?

Just purchased through TpT, thank you for sharing. My question is... how did you get those poses for your Bitmoji?

Great tutorial! Do you have blog or FB page?? I’d love to follow you. Thanks!!
How do you record your videos where you share your screen while having a little video of your face talking? I love it and thinks kids would like to see this more than just hearing my voice.
@Alison Waterman Thanks! I just did a thing where I recorded myself on Zoom while sharing my screen. Pretty easy.
Love it thank you for sharing!!
How do you get the slides into your google classroom? I need that tutorial, lol.

Hi, very helpful video! How do you make the google meet linked to your google classroom and the kids cant log in until you are in the meet? Thank you 😊
Thank you! Wonderful!
Use Dualless extension to drag and drop from one window to another at the same time.

I'm also wondering this!
How can I add a Slide link that is editable for each student?
Thanks so much! Silly question here... I have created my scenes but how do I post only one scene instead of all the slides?
This helped so much!!!!!
This awesome. I have got several slides made. My district is requiring us to use itslearning. How would I make these slides available to my students?
I cannot find some basic bitmojis, lke the one that "sits down" . Do you know why is this?
hold down shift+windows+s for snipping tool for Windows 10
Your videos are great! Thank you! I have a question...Sometimes when I attach a link it (the url) will show up on the picture (in light blue. Why does this happen and how do I get rid of it? Thanks
hi there...are you able to tell me how you created the joke submission form in google?
I really like your backgrounds; but can't seem to find any with the wall and floor connected as an "actual room". Can you please help?
Great video!! I love the interactive slides with different activities! 😁
how do u change ur profile pic to ur bitmoji

This was awesome! How can we lock the slides so students don't move things? Thanks
When you add a link, do you add the link to the screenshot slide?

Is there a way to get rid of ads without a Google Classroom acct through a school? I'm a preschool teacher & it doesn't seem available to us...
Sorry- forgot to say that G slides would not let me use the Safe You Tube link I generated...
Pardon the nit-picking: The icon to link is not a paper clip but a chain link.
See what they did there?
So when uploading the slide to google classroom, click “make one for each student” and all google links will be made for each individual student?
I am wondering the same thing
no save as material
Can you share your direction slides with me?
I have created an interactive classroom, but I don't know how to share it with my students so that it works.
She mentioned in the first vid (setting up the room) how to share the set of rooms.
My old teacher used epic!
Can we share google slides with kids without a google account
