Calecim hair treatment before and after results at six months | With OneSkin update

- In this review I'm sharing my dad's impressive hair regrowth results after using Calecim's Advanced Hair System for six months, including before and after pictures. The at-home hair loss treatment involves microneedling a serum that contains natural growth factors into the scalp to encourage regrowth.
I also bring you an update on a friend's results using Calecim's multi-action cream and my mum's results with OneSkin - another peptide-based treatment.

Claire, I think you just keep getting better and better in your delivery, content and the results that you are providing us.
This one really packs a punch, summing up heaps! 5 stars!
Thank you Kerry. I really appreciate that ❤️
I just love this channel. Clare, you are a beautiful lady and your content is so clear, coherent and definitely humble and of high integrity. In hearing your speak about your family you can really just hear what a good human you are. Thank you from Australia!
Thank you! I really appreciate your kindness and support ❤️
I am 100% with you! There are so many factors that come into play. It is never just one thing that creates change. We all have to figure out what works best for us individually. Thank you!
Btw - something new I have been trying (only for three days so far) is Imi's Bigan Yoga (face yoga). I had seen face yoga before, but her approach is so positive and uplifting. Not only that, but I can actually see results after only three days!!!! Just thought I mention it, since we are all here to support each other in our journeys to healthful, glowing aging :)
Great to hear you’re seeing results from face yoga so quickly! And brilliant that it’s something we can all do that costs nothing.
Your mom is gorgeous! And I'm talking about her before picture, not just the afters.
I couldn't believe she's 79. Great skin for sure. And what a good sport to participate in your venture :)
Great info, thank you, Clare! 🙏🏼 I always look forward to your videos!
So glad you enjoy them!
Another great video! Your dad’s results are very impressive! And your mom is gorgeous
❤️
Brilliant video, always look forward to your content.
Thank you so much ❤️
More Power to you, u excel in this chosen field. Still looking ravishing, hubby must be Happy!
Thank you Maryann! My husband films and edits my videos so he’s too busy to be happy 😆
$350 for a 6 week hair treatment is CRIMINAL.
I agree, unless you hair is truly fulling out but for the rest of us with a little thining 🥴
Didn't she say it lasts for 6 months, not 6 weeks?
@@danosdahmes8681 the results she is showing are of six months treatment, but the treatment cost is $350 every 6 weeks.
It's not every 6 weeks though
@@ScorpionSuerte what do you mean??
very good work clare !
Thanks Mark!
Oh Rhodsy ❤️ she's still so beautiful even after such a loss
What loss you are talking about? Hope she is ok
Love your investigation's. Love from Stirlingshire 🏴
Great to have support from a fellow Scot! ❤️
The stamp alone will create new hair growth!
Hi Clare, That was a great follow up video. I am making good progress with the Calecim hair serum. I can now only use it about once a week so a box should really last about 6 months. Plus I just reordered the Restorative Hydration Cream starter kit using your code. I love that cream. It lasts me actually quite some time as I only use the cream at night and with the added samples I find the value for money better than ordering the full size. Plus I got a free 30ml of the recovery night complex which I have never tried. Calecim are quite good with their free samples I have to say. So I am well pleased. Thanks Clare.
Thanks for the update. Good to hear you’re making progress!
I've been enjoying One-Skin. It's in the price zone I can justify. The Calecim... eh, a little pricey there. About 2x if I understood you correctly. Thanks for reviewing all these for us.
Great information! As an aside, I started back up on fish oil supplements after a video you did about 6 months ago. My nails are now crazy strong and I have to keep cutting them. 🙂
Great to hear!
Your father's results are shockingly good. I would not have predicted that level of regrowth for male pattern baldness that has persisted for so many years prior to treatment. Would like to suggest an expert 'debate' on stem cells for skin rejuvenation and longevity as a future topic. I am very curious to learn more.
That’s an excellent suggestion!
@@thehonestchannelsee if you can get Dr Gary Linkov. He’s brilliant. That would be a fab interview. His UA-cam channel has exploded over the last couple of years.
I am surprised too about his results because when I asked this company about results on Androgenetic Alopecia they said that they trials only covered hair loss by Telogen effluvium or hair loss caused by stress.
Great video as always, Clare. My condolences to you and your Mum on your loss. Your skin is looking great but I do agree, there are so many factors that contribute to looking and feeling good and no overnight miracle cures! Thanks for your dedication and meticulous research in finding out if a product truly works for you or not. I'm interested in the No.7 Renew line so looking forward to your review on that later on. I'm trying out Bluelene Serum Plus and I'll update when I've used it a couple of months. Val xx.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the Bluelene serum Val!
@@thehonestchannel so far so good 🙂
Great round up. I can’t get my dad (92) to try the Calecim! But I’ve almost got my my husband convinced lol with your dad’s pics. 😊
It would be so interesting to see if it could regenerate hair growth in a 92-year-old but your dad has earned the right to say no thank you! 😁 Hopefully your husband gets a great result.
@@thehonestchannel 💜
Great video.I can see a change since you stopped using Adepeau.
Thanks. Maybe I need to start using the Adipeau cream again to plump up my jowls! 😁
A tea made out of rosemary leaves and dabbed on my scalp plus biotin gummies helped me.
Thanks for sharing this!
Thank you for your continued reporting on this! You’ve encouraged me to purchase and try for myself. I am experiencing thinning that is starting to become difficult to hide now. I don’t want to use finasteride or minoxidil because of the side effects. If something else like this can help me, I don’t mind paying.
Thank you and would love to continue getting updates on Calecim! 😊🙏🏻
I cant buy this from Singapore. It says only available in clinics. Can someone help?
@@AmarSingh-uc7px It's manufactured in Singapore actually so should be available there.
@@davidsotir4318 it's only sold at clinics where the clinician must do the treatment so it's very expensive. I just want to buy and apply it myself.
Just found your channel Claire and very much appreciate the content. I've gone through 1 bottle of the OneSkin eye cream 2x a day and will say it has definitely thickened the skin on my eyelids, which at 68 was thinning alarmingly. I really haven't noticed anything in the wrinkles under my eyes, but will try a second bottle to see if that produces an improvement. I'd not heard about bluelene from any other content creator previously, but am curious enough to give it a go. I agree that the time is coming that individualized recommendations will save us from all this trial and error, not to mention the damage to our bank balances. Thanks!
That's good to hear - thanks for sharing your experience.
Would love to see a video on your thoughts on the dental facelift.
Have you ever thought on doing a video on color analysis? Does it really help to wear the right sessional colors for your looks? Just an idea.
Great ideas, and as chance has it I am doing a video on dental facelifts next week!
@@thehonestchannel 😊👍
Thank you for this update! I so wanted to like the Bluelene, but the plant oils, I think the rosemary, geranium, sage, bergamot, etc, make the fragrance way too strong and I cannot tolerate it on my face. I have been trying it on my chest and neck, though. On my face I am using the Renue By Science NAD serum with methylene blue. No fragrance, although it does have some plant oils, too. I look forward to an update on your parents' experience with NAD boosters.
So sorry the Bluelene didn’t work out for you. The Renue by Science product sounds interesting though!
I have the same issue with Bluelene, and I was thinking of trying the Renue products... But for the moment I just ordered some Neogenesis minis, they have stem cells and fibroblasts, so I will see how things go (unfortunately some of these products also contain orange essential oil, I don't know why they do this, because the products don't even smell nice).
@@thehonestchannelwhat is Bluelene?
Has anyone tried the Calecim skin serum? It is supposed to contain the highest amount of stem cells one can get, which may be what I need-but the piece is mighty steep!
What is the red light vibrating pen you use around your eyes, please? I have MGD and wonder if this may help. thank you
My 12 year old daughter went through bone marrow transplant. One chemotherapy drug they used has a history of causing hair loss. The resources for any treatment are very few. This would be an interesting try. She has hair in those areas, it just came back thin. Might give this a try. Thank you!!
So sorry to hear your daughter has been so ill and I do hope she is getting back to full strength again. Hopefully her hair will come back on its own in time - a little red light (just a few minutes per session) may also be useful and a gentler option for someone so young.
Can you do a video on your microneedling please.
Hi. I’m just using the Qure microneedling system at the moment because it’s v easy to use. I reviewed it here ua-cam.com/video/jZM9JG3lQms/v-deo.html
I recently stumbled onto Biologique Recherche and am very impressed. I am 49.Curious to know if you have tried the line?
I haven’t but I will make a note of it. Thanks for flagging!
Hi Claire, after 2 months of using the Omnilux mask, Venus, a more consistent skincare routine (copper peptides, vit. C, retinal) and supplements my skin looks much calmer, clearer and brighter, and I think my eyelids are less hooded... BTW my skin was in very bad shape (exposed to the hot African sun for a couple of months, then some health issues, lack of sleep, some horrible cystic acne breakouts which I suspect were due to taking collagen peptides, unfortunately for a small number of people they seem to have these adverse effects), so I'm very pleased with these results. My neck and chest also look great...
I've also started doing facial yoga and gua sha, and now I'm now thinking of getting a radio-frequency or ultrasound device to firm up the skin even more...
This is great to hear. It’s an excellent routine you have there and I’m so glad it’s working for you.
@@thehonestchannel It must be working since I'm 40 and people who don't know me seem to think I'm 26-27 (including a dermatologist I saw recently and a group of teenagers I spent the weekend with...) 😅
What is the Venus? Also, can you plz let us know which device you decided to purchase and how it’s working for you?
Also, what supplements are you taking? Thanks!!!
Hey Claire- we would appreciate any updates on the hair growth journey of your father. I purchased the product and I am three weeks in. I know it takes time for hair growth but I’m remaining hopeful.
Hi. Dad’s results are still holding up though I think he’s probably at a maintenance point rather than adding more. He’s very happy though. It was around 3 weeks that he thought he started to feel a difference and we began to see it around 5/6 weeks in. Fingers crossed for you!
@@thehonestchannel thank you!!
I see different ilumination, on the last pic it has less light so it doesnt show the scalp as much. The first pic has light directly on the scalp.I think its the same, no regrowth.
His hair regrowth is so obvious and dramatic it is beyond doubt for my dad and any of us who know him. I think it’s also very clear in those pics.
do the der peptides also work to just generally improve density in young adults, who never had a lot of hair to begin with and never could grow it over a certain length? Or is there anything which would to target these goals? Not to regain but to ever gain?
It targets existing hair follicles that have become inactive so it’s about regaining rather than totally new growth
About the red light…are you pulsing or steady stream? I remember ones your guests suggested pulsing.
I don’t pulse but use it as an eye mask for 3mins am and as a full face mask for 6mins pm.
Microneedleing is shown by itself to increase hair growth because it stimulates the body's own stem cells so the question is did the liquid do anything or would your father have got the same results just using a microneedling device
It’s a good question. The derma stamp does help open up and stimulate the the hair follicles but the interesting thing is my dad didn’t use the stamp for the first couple of weeks and still saw rapid regrowth.
That’s not to say it wouldn’t be worth trying microneedling on its own for hair regrowth.
Yes! Even if I can maintain my skin health (which isn’t very youthful at 60) my bare minimum expectation is that my age will catch up to my appearance 😂
Love it!
I have blepharitis and very interested in how the red light Venus tool helps keep oil glands from clogging... how does it keep them open? Please more info on this. I’m sure many suffer with clogged eyelid oil glands ❤❤❤
I did a video a while back on the Venus. It’s not intended as a blepharitis tool but I found the mix of heat from the red light and the vibration are ideal for unclogging blocked glands. When I stop using it, as I did recently, it’s trouble!
@@thehonestchannelWow! AMAZING that this works so well for you! My husband travels frequently, and I may suggest this for him, since it’s probably quicker and easier than repeatedly using hot, wet washcloths on his eyelids every morning and night!
@@thehonestchanneldoes the Venus also help under eye wrinkles?
Did your father also use the derma stamp with the serum? Or just the serum alone? 😊
He forgot to use the stamp for the first couple of weeks but has used it ever since.
What is the vibrating red light eye pen called? I have had 3 chalazions in the last year so anything that helps the oil glands around the eye is something I am very interested in. Thanks in advance.
It’s the Venus pen from EvenSkyn. My blepharitis has got worse with age so I feel your pain!
Just added a link in the description.
I like the review of your father and husbands hair and look forward to further updates. However I am skeptical as to whether use would have to use this product for the rest of your life and if you stopped would you lose what you gained?. Other products like minidoxyl work for a while and others like finistride have side effects. So although I am tempted it is a lot of money to part with regardless.
Yes, you're right to consider the long-term cost as this is a long-term treatment. I have talked about that in my previous videos looking at Calecim specifically. My dad and husband now try to use as little as possible to make this affordable. A good starting point though would be to just try microneedling on the scalp.
Thank you for your reply. I have tried micro needling with a roller type but had little success with it even after 6 months using various alleged oils. perhaps my scalp is a little too tough lol!!
@@thehonestchannel
I was wondering if you could do a q&a or a video with products on a budget. I have a few issues mainly horrendous skin elasticity all over and my jowls and saggy neck have greatly suffered, yet I'm only in my mid thirties. I think it's due to my ill health/autoimmune issues and long term medication, and it's only getting worse. I can't bare to look in the mirror and I don't want to even go out, I don't recognise the person looking back at me, but unfortunately I don't have the funds to do anything drastic and I can't afford any products you suggest. Is there anything else you would advise? Thank you
I’m really sorry to hear this. The Future Renew serum I mentioned is a lower cost option with proven results. I’ve also featured Geek & Gorgeous products on this channel and highly recommend their retinal but I will aim to do a dedicated video on budget options.
I focus a lot on skincare innovation which does unfortunately often come with a bigger price tag to begin with.
You could also try microneedling.
Why Calecim instead of minoxidal for hair which is many, many times cheaper? Is it because it is more natural?
My husband tried minoxidil and I talked about it in the earlier review. He finds this quicker and only has to use it once a week.
@@thehonestchannel Thanks so much. I will save my pennies🙂.. don't mind the minute it takes.
Can you use on your eyebrows?
I'm not sure it's been tested on eyebrows but might be worth asking Calecim direct as they may have more recent evidence they can share.
Wow that’s impressive! Does it work on women? The hair growth?
I have thick hair so haven’t tried it but there are plenty of positive independent reviews from women. A journalist from The Times newspaper in the UK said her mother’s hair was visibly thicker after 6 weeks of use.
Did your husband try using it on his hairline? I'm mainly interested in growth at my temples. I'm on my second purchase of Calecim but not having any results. If anything, it seems worse than when I started :-(
That’s a real shame you’re not seeing results. We’ve been pretty wowed by it. My husband just uses it at the back and my dad doesn’t take it quite as far as the temples as he hasn’t had hair there in quite a few years. Is your hair loss at the temples fairly recent?
@@thehonestchannel More gradual age-related loss, that everyone gets, I think!
Yeah lots of people are having amazing results with it. Maybe it’s something akin to minoxidil, where a subset of patients just lack the enzyme to convert it in the scalp - so they never see an effect. I dunno.
My one hope is that it’s because all the telogen hairs are ejecting themselves to make way for new growth (this happens with a lot of other medical hair loss treatments), but I may be deluding myself 😂
Oh no! You feel it’s made your hair loss worse? I just ordered my first box. Makes me a little nervous
@@AFndjdj7373 Do let us know how you get on. It’s really frustrating to try something like this and for it not to work.
Do you have an update on this Claire?
I haven't filmed a video update dedicated to the hair regrowth results because I've done a few on this, but I share updates re my skin in my skincare routine videos. My dad is following the maintenance protocol that I described here and still has a fine head of hair : )
@@thehonestchannel hopefully he gets more and more regrowth through continued use. I actually ordered mine today!
been following the science for a whiile on senolytics, stem cells etc. my take is that these things are not yet ready and anything on the market at this point is likely snake oil. sounds depressing, but shouldn't be. once senolytics finally hit the market they are going to provide incredible results. To our skin and to our bodies.
I do agree that much more research is needed until we can pin down what exactly is going to work for our individual regenerative needs, but the results we're seeing with these products mean I don't view them as snake oil. We're watching the future of skin and haircare unfold.
@@thehonestchannel do you really consider them more regenerative than other more traditional products? I found your video because I was interested in this oneskin. I follow regenerative science. This was The first product that was launched for senolytics. Meanwhile there are many biotechs as well as university laboratories that are looking to better understand how to eliminate senescent cells. There are issues such as the fear of creating DNA damage that leads to cancer, or eliminating beneficial senescent cells - apparently not all are bad. I haven't even heard about anyone even guessing a timeline for actual products. So that's why I was suspicious of this product.
Calecim claims 24% increase in follicle cell production and 14 % increase in total number of individual hairs on scalp after 12 weeks usage? Did your dad use it daily for 5 months?
It's not intended for daily use. So he used it twice a week as directed for the initial treatment period of six weeks and then weekly thereafter.
Thank you so much for your reply I'm thinking of starting this but an trying to get all the information first. And would you say your husband is very happy with his results too? Also does hairfall stop?
Thanks

I’m young and calecim did nothing for me unfortunately.. :( if anything, more hair has been lost. Maybe I’m allergic!
Sorry to hear this. Have you experienced hairloss? It's worth flagging that the serum can only restore lost hair - as in awaken dormant hair follicles. It can't create hair where it hasn't been.
