you just didn't listen properly and were checking out the chick in the first row. ( Who, incidentally, is unaware of your existence and was too busy listening in class) 🙂
I have to retake my AP exam after a good few weeks and let me tell you this is the best refresher ever! You're easy to follow and understand plus I was entertained and that kept me focused! So glad your videos were recommended to me.
Yo can you pray for me right now? Currently I'm grindin n shinin cause I have a chem test on this. I also have a apush test tomorrow on top of a Japanese test. Pray for me my brother.
Awesome! You really put all the equations and problems into perspective for me! I have a huge final coming up and have been watching your videos to help me study for it! I can't thank you enough for all the help you have given me!! =)
I have been watching your videos it has helped me out incredibly. I am in a Chemical Technician course at the community college.. Stumped on a question: 4. Solid barium phosphate dissolves into its respective ions at 25oC. Given that [Ba2+] = 1.5 x 10-2 M, find the value of Ksp. [ba2+}3 [po43-]2 I don't know how to approach this.
Let S moles of the salt were dissolved.Then Ba++=3S=1.5E(-2) therefore S=0.005.From Ksp expression:Ksp=(Ba++)^3 × (PO4)^2 =(3S)^3 × (2S)^2=108×S^5=108×(0. 005)^5= 3. 375 ×10^-10
On mixing 1 mole of ethyl alcohol with 1 mole of acetic acid at 298 K the equilibrium concentration of ester and water becomes 2/3 moles each. If 3 moles of alcohol is mixed with 1 mole of acid, the concentration of ester in moles at equilibrium will be? Could you please help?
He divided the Ksp by 108, which is basically the same as 1.08x10^2, and if you recall in algebra, when you're dividing exponents: (10^-29)/(10^2) = 10^ (-29-2) = 10^-31 Hope that helped :) Happy studying!
Yes I understand that. But why ? I can memorize this step here no problem. But I really don't understand why we do this. Why its correct if you count the repeating number. looking for THAT explanation. :)
In five minutes, you taught me with such grace and clarity that which my professor couldn't explain in two hours.

@@donegal79you replied after 7 years and he probably didnt read it, whats the point?

that handwriting is satisfying for some reason
that good ol' Canadian "check it out".
lol thank you Chemist Nate great video!
Well explained! I was trying to figure this out for DAYS! :0
super helpful! Thank you :)
I learned about solubility and how algebra is useful
you just earned a subscription !!
You are beautiful thing too. Why aren't you my chemistry teacher???
this is probably the most repitive comment out there for all chem videos. Lol

That was a beautiful explanation my friend, just like you are
I agree with Anh! You explain it so clearly!!!
Thankyou very much
That really simplified it and made it easy to understand

The ending is so wholesome :3
Very informative and concise. Thank you Sir.

chemistNATE for president!!!
I'm going to go out on a limb and say you're much easier to understand than my professor shipped here from Taiwan lol...
Thanks so much! Best video out here that made it so, so simple :)
You're a blessing
Thank you so much, you made it look so easy!
This video was very helpful!!
thank you so much. bless you! I hope i get a good grade on my chem quiz
Thank you so much I'm happy to see you 😍 جميل
Wow, this was explained really well, thank you!! : )

Thanks again, this was really helpful! Do you have a cold? It sounds like your nose is stuffed up.
You are so good! Thank you and bless you too!
Thanks 🙌🏼 it was very helpful
thanks! this solved my problem perfectly!
very clear, perfect video thanks
Really Helpful video... Thank you for uploading! :)
What are the units for this at the end when arriving at 7.13X 10^-7???
is it mol/L at this point?
Just curious Nate are you in grad school or are you working right now?
YOU ARE AMAZING!
Why it's + 3x, I understand where 3 come from but not the + sign in the ice table, help please
+medina lormejuste "+3x" is in the C section of the Ice Chart. C stands for change. The plus indicates that you're adding 3x, as it was Initially 0.
Don't divide by 0.2 instead raise it to the power of 0.2
(1.85x10^-31)^0.2 or (1.85x10^-31)^(1/5)
May I ask. Why did the exponent become -31 from -29?
He divided the Ksp by 108, which is basically the same as 1.08x10^2, and if you recall in algebra, when you're dividing exponents: (10^-29)/(10^2) = 10^ (-29-2) = 10^-31
Hope that helped :)
Happy studying!
Ahhhh I wish you were my gen chem professor
Great video !
very nice. I really get helped.
Would you help me with BaF Ksp 1.7x10^6, please?

Thank you thank you thank you!
You have saved me from the burning flames of... A low GPA.
Thanks for this video.
Awesome videos..... thank you :)
Ooh look at this--algebra's useful!
And why does counting the zeros give you the new power of 7?
7 zeros
Yes I understand that. But why ?
I can memorize this step here no problem. But I really don't understand why we do this. Why its correct if you count the repeating number. looking for THAT explanation. :)
Danielle B you will know when you grow up
