I have the p365 XL with the Holosun 507k and even as a woman it conceals very well with the Tulster Oath and Contour. Its shoots amazing and is very accurate. I just purchased the Olight Baldr S for it so I can't wait to install it and try it out.
I’ve been appendix carrying a 229 legion for 6 yrs. For two I carried it to a job every day and no one ever noticed in a old raven concealment holster wasn’t the most comfortable but it concealed it better than anything I’ve tried. These days I’m carrying it in a blackpoint dual point which is way more comfortable but maybe prints a tad sometimes
I have 12 Sig handguns. The three I carry or have carried are the P365, P365XL, and the P229 Legion .40 SA/DA, and with a Blackpoint Tactical IWB holster, the P229 is my favorite carry. It feels comfortable in strong side carry and tucks in nice. It only gets bumped by the P365XL with a JM4 Tactical IWB in lighter clothing weather.
The 226 Legion SAO is incredible.. trigger discipline has to be equally excellent though and must be trained, because under severe duress, that trigger is quick.
As others also noted, it's about personal preference and suitability to your lifestyle. Currently own and EDC SIG P229 Legion. Admittedly heavier than majority, however with suitable belt and holster I find Ican comfortably carry both AIWB & OWB Clothing selection obviously plays a key part in the concealability. In my opinion, the pros of this weapon far outweigh the actual size / weight factor. In Israel, I don't have the luxury of gun ownership rights and choices that the majority of you in the US enjoy. Never take your 2A for granted!
In case no one touched on this: the 365X and 365XL are two different models. They took the standard 365 slide and put it on the XL frame and added the flat trigger. I’m sure you already know this, but I felt the need to offer the info anyway.
As someone who has owned, and loved, the Kahr PM9 & the Walther PPS, I was shocked at how Sig was able to make a double stack pistol feel like a single stack in the P365. Absolutely ingenious!
Sig Sauer P320 M-18 no manual safety w/ Romeo Pro is my go to CCW. Love everything about it! Although the P365 is my carry pistol for summer w/ t-shirt & shorts. Sig makes very reliable firearms. MPX is a H&K MP5 killer! Thanks for the video.
If you take your P365, and swap in a P365XL grip module, and add a Magguts +2 extender kit to 12 round P365x mags, you'll have the smallest 14+1 configured 9mm on the market. Add a Sig flat trigger and it's an actual P365X. The P365X is perfect for large hands. The P365XL is nice, but you can't carry it in your pocket like I do with the P365X. Use it with Underwood's 68 gr. or 90 gr. +P Xtreme Defenders, and you have a self defense EDC combination that's unbeatable.
@@BU1Lander Wanna bet? Not with the OEM 15 round mag. It's like the P365 with a Sig 15 round mad, which is 14mm longer than with a 12 rounder (even with a Magguts +2). i just measured mine.
Great collection! As a natural born German I own only one SIG. I carry it for years every day. It's obsoleta, but it is what it is. I live in South America it is hot most of the time, so I do pocket carry. This is the minimum when I leave the house 9 mm, knife and light. DA only, some kinda semi auto revolver with a dream trigger. I would not carry anything else than DA for safty reasons in my pocket. But to me it does more than a revolver with 6 plus one, plus 8 and a full hand grip. I got large jety hands I shot it one handed. If I have to work I carry beside an adicional CZ P 10 S apendix with laser light combo12 plus one and 21 rounds. I might be the only one who knows the 290 RS, but I will carry it until I die. Desde otro lado del mundo Sudamérica
Kimber Micro 9 offers 8 round magazines. They are made by the same company as Sigs magazines. They are the same dimensions as 938 mags and fit/feed with no problems in it. A semi purist way to get 8 rounds in a 938.
For me I like the P365 with the 12 round magazine. That makes the grip about the same length as the P365xl but with the option to reduce the length with the flush fitting 10 round magazine. Carry appendix style and have never looked back.
I have a p365 and p320 x compact. I changed to the x compact, appendix carry with a tlr1 hl no problems at all. In the summer I might switch back to the 365.
Been looking for a new daily carry gun. Carried a full sized 45 acp for four years. Transitioned to a subcompact. Wasn’t happy at all! Got to looking and there are so many medium sized guns that it is confusing. Carrying a single stack nine. I want more rounds. I also want a full grip. Glock 19 size. The 365 X looks pretty good. Thanks!
P365 for when I need smaller grip. P365x Romeo most of the time. P320 xcompact/xcarry for going to the city (I live in a great area but it’s only 25 miles from the city that per capita gave Chicago a run for its money with the murder rate in 2021).
I own most of those pistols except the P22? I didn’t catch the number but I do own and carry the P226 Legion and love it and it’s 4.4” barrel. I also have a P238 .380 and I own the P938 Legion and I use both as pocket carry options with a pocket holster. I also own the P365XL (we agree there) great carry pistols; I also have the P320 compact without an optic 3.9” barrel; the P2022 Classic 9mm but I use it as a range gun; I also own and carry infrequently the P365SAS. My most frequent EDC is currently my Kimber Ultra Carry 45ACP 3” but I’ve recently purchased a Sig 1911 XO 5” that I like shooting but I’ll concede it’s larger than I’m likely to carry. The holsters that I’ve gravitated towards now are the BlackPoint Tactical Wing holsters for virtually all my pistols nothing conceals like that holster for me anyway including other models of BlackPoint holsters. I’m 6’5” 210 and in baggy clothes I can carry and conceal a lotta gun(s) plural and I do sometimes just to see if it works. Anyway I think it just depends on personal preference and I have my wife check my conceal as sometimes what I think is good actually isn’t. Anyway, enjoyed the video and actually although I’m basically a new shooter and currently carrying a Kimber Sigs are a definite favorite. I’m thinking I’ll eventually run across and pick up a Sig 1911 Officer sized 45ACP ….until the 😊 🤷🏻♂️
I carried my SIG sp 2022 for a few years as my off duty carry. Until I realized if I had to use it, it might take forever to get it back. I rather lose my cheap glock to evidence, then my German made Sigs.
My winter EDC is the M18. I can conceal it better, and it’s comfortable. The thing i dislike about carrying the M17 and even the 365XL is the extension of the slide past the tip of the grip module. I think I would prefer the 365X over the XL. Same round capacity but through a shorter slide.
I'm going to go all Nostradamus here and predict you're going to get a lot of fanboy comments that will say the best Sig for concealed carry is the Glock 19. 😎
I have the P365XL with the RomeoZero and the Tulster Oath (your recommendation) and I added the 15 round magazines and its my go to. I don't find the 15 rounder to be too big, but I can drop it to 12 if I want it to be smaller. It's a great gun.
Theres a company, I believe called magguts......it turns your 12 round mags into 14, so with a plus one carry you have fifteen total. And it looks like a 12 round mag. I bought it and use it in my 365XL cycles great!
I'm in NC, Folks don't wear 3 layers of clothes. I don't like Polymer Guns, so, for Me, it's Easily the P238. Like it So much, that I bought a Second one with a different Finish!
I carry my m17 sometimes but it’s A little uncomfortable I think an M18 or just any compact size P320 series handgun is a good size if you’re experienced or don’t mind carrying something that’s not subcompact but just compact
I am choosing my very first carry gun and would LOVE to see a comparison head to head of the S&W Sheild Plus and the Sig 365 XL if you get a chance? Both so highly recommended, by both women and men. I have no ranges here that rent guns, so frustrating! So I have to chose this way.
I have the original shield and also have a P365 XL The Shield had a really crappy trigger. Not sure about the Plus model. Hard to beat the 365 XL I also changed the 365XL frame to a Wilson Combat frame for a little better grip feel.......a cheap swap and a better in hand experience.

Do you carry the XL in warm/summer weather? If so, what positions and concealment methods do you use?
Thanks! I'm going to go check these out for my wife 👍🏻
Everything boils down to personal preference. I carry my Sig Sauer M18 everyday i change my positions either strong side 4 o'clock or appendix.
Same here !!!!
I carry m17 but I'm I'm huge guy so it's easy for me
Yep i used to carry a glock 17 iwb all the time. The oberall shape of the 17 made it possible and the 19 was a dream.

For pocket carry, the 938 works well.
I agree. The XL rocks. Slim, very concealable. With Magguts +2 you have 14 rounds. I haven't found anything better.
P938 drops into a pocket very nicely.
I’m thin and the 365XL conceals as well as the 365 appendix carry but is more shootable. The 365XL all day everyday for conceal carry.
