    Thank you for the fantastic video. What in your opinion is the best canvas size to make a physical painting on, for eventually printing larger, say, as a poster of 24 by 36 inches? I am stuck on the concept of size / resizing for bigger printing without losing quality.

    I have found that when photographing with my phone the colours are made a lot more vivid and not really possible to Balance back to normal. On the plus side it does allow for an additional digital only piece that is edited on the computer.

    Hey! Your videos are super helpful! Thank you so much for making them. Do you have any advice on needing to copyright? Or should I have a registered name for my art? Thanks so much

    That was helpful - thank you! Do you have an affordable scanner that you like? I'm just getting started so don't need anything too fancy, but I'd like to make sure I purchase a decent one.

    This was so helpful! Question for you, once I have the photographed image on my phone, what format does it need to be in to print?

    • @WelcomeToVisionCIty
      @WelcomeToVisionCIty  2 роки тому +1

      when printed it should be 300 dpi and it can be a PDF or Jpeg. Those are the formats that printers prefer usually.

    Hi, do you have any info available on how to wind up with the correct file sizes on scans or photographs that have been digitalized? This aspect of things has been driving me crazy. How do I know what size a file has to be to produce a high-quality print, like, 16x20 for instance? And how can I be sure the customer will actually wind up with that size print when they buy the file? I am totally confused and frustrated over this, so any info you can offer would be so much appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi, Melanie! Very usefull video, thank you! How can I adjust the white background on the photo? I paint watercolor flowers and I leave always the background white, but by taking a photo there are some shadows in the cornenrs. Do you have any tipps for that?

      You can use a editing software like photoshop, photo elements or canva to edit. You can even lighten on your phone. Hope this helps!

    Thank you That was a very informative video. I am googling around trying to find out if I can shrink larger canvas (up to 48 inches) painting down to size for a story book, without taking away any of the detail or coloring of the painting, could you hlp me out with some advice? Thanks

      Because of the size, I would suggest photographing it in daylight as I suggest in the video. Make sure it is overhead cover like in a garage or room with large windows. Make sure the camera ot device you use provides the final output size full resolution so it is slear and shoot it directly straight on at a 90 degree angle as best you can. A tripod would help for this if you have one. Next when you have a photo, you can try photoshop express, which is an online free version and you can makes ure you are happy with the color and focus... Next, crop and save it to the size you want and save it as a Jpeg. Yes, it's a lot of steps but because of the size, it is needed to get the best result. Alternatively, you can look up a photo "copying" service locally to provide this service for you... hope this helps.

    I am 67 and my art goes back to my teens, but I have art that is on glass, any tips how I can digitize that?

    • @subream1546
      @subream1546 3 роки тому

      Glass art work is very hard to digitize but if you know someone or somewhere where they have a printer you could use that but if you want to you can try different color saturations and flattening the artwork when its digitalized i hope this helps and have a good day ;)

    Blah blah blah, after six minutes still the only thing she tells is: take a digital photo. My goodness. Oh, and it has to be a good photo, without shadows on it. Wow.
