    That mausoleum is so cool and love all those railings almost all of them are different. And Dowling, I loved that a special stone for everyone

      Yes the Dowling one is fantastic but who were they 🤔 someone kindly remembered them all, so sweet and it said twin on some of them too how sad ❤️❤️

Mary A apr 15, 1904-Oct 21, 1975 Salford, UK. Joseph C May 17, 1909-1985. Patrick apr 15, 1906-1979. Margaret Maggie Sept 4, 1907-May 28, 1966 Manchester, UK. Bridget Jan 8, 1908-??. James Dec 12, 1912-Dec 23, 1945 Rathangan, Ire. Katherine Mar 25, 1914-1987. Elizabeth Lizzie 1916-1932 Galway. Helen July 1923-July 1923. The mom Bridget died in 1923 as well perhaps childbirth complications ? I didn’t find Eileen or Lawrence

    Nice little cemetry Sue however small or large there all worthy of a visit arnt they and i love how respectfull you are however old they are.its a shame you can't see the writing on them all but i like to see the wethered stone with the lichen on them.hope your feeling a lot better.from someone who's been a sufferer of chest infections since the age of six there not nice.thi luckily ive escaped covid.take care🌹🌻🌹

      I'm going good, looking back I've had breathing problems since I had it, should have probably checked up on it..yes I love the lichen covered headstones too ❤️🥰mind yourself x

    Lovely cemetery. I love all the railing, especially the one with the cherub faces on it. Someone really cared for the Dowling family yo place a marker for each person buried there. The mausoleum was beautiful. Thank you Sue, take care and God Bless ❤

    never seen so many railings in one place it must have made it hard for visiting family to place flowers etc . lovely well kept cemetery and the memorials for the Dowling family was a loving touch . Thank you Serenity Sue another really enjoyable walk ❤️

    Hi Sue! You should have filmed the bridge and edited it in! I've seen those small green metal Celtic crosses in some of your other videos. I'm guessing that in the old days they were made of iron but these days they use a more corrosion-resistant steel. Either way they have an elegant simplicity. Thanks for showing us a very interesting churchyard. 🇦🇺 🇮🇪

      Thanks so much, I was too scared to film the bridge, I had to turn the car around to take the turn, 1st gear all the way over it, room only for one I'll see if I can get the picture of it ❤️❤️

    The Robert Cassidy mausoleum at 14:00 minutes,had odd looking cast iron finials on top of the railings. Looked like a strange face design. Maybe I'm just seeing things! Beautiful little cemetery though. Nicely done Sue and Irish eyes. 😊👍

    Very nice cemetery, Sue, love the angels on the rails. I hope you're starting to feel better! Your overcast sky looks just like ours today here in Michigan. It's 51 degrees F. and raining ⛈️ , supposed to mix with a little snow tonight! Just drank a hot cocoa to warm up!

    Who does the upkeep on your cemeteries? All the ones you show or so well keep. All are so beautiful, you most definitely have some of the best resting places. Great Job Sue... God Bless 🥰

    This is a beautiful place, kept so well but sadly time has erased the writing on most of the older ones. Well done Sue and Irish eyes, bles you both 💕🇦🇺

    Another beautiful tour .sorry but I must ask was this while you were sick or were you ok ? Irish said in his chat you weren’t feeling well hope you were rugged up.Beautiful graves and mausoleums ,maybe just as well they were not accessible,might stop grave robbers,vandals etc,Any way I checked the time difference,Dublin is 10 hours behind us .Have a great day,travel safe and good health to you both,👋👋👋from ballarat in Oz🇦🇺👍

      Yes, I'd been feeling off for a few weeks but tried to ignore it, long covid or so my Dr. Said but I'm on medication now so hopefully back to working order again soon ❤️❤️

      Well take care,I can say I got a chill spent a week in hossie,with bordering on pneumonia not nice ,you and yours look after yourselves and stay well.

    Beautiful cemetery Sue. Cannot believe how many grave have metal railing around it. So sad how many young peopl died I. The early 1900’s.

    Following uprisings and battles, surviving Irish freedom fighters would hide until nightfall, before returning to collect the bodies of the fallen. These would be buried in one grave and covered in earth, to form a mound. I often wonder if the mounds, you come accross, contain the remains of those who died in battles.

      I've wondered tha myself, as it seems strange, I know I've certainly walked many places with very obvious single grave mounds, it's so sad ❤️

    The Cassidy mausoleum and graves are members of the Cassidy family who's whiskey distillery dominated Monasterevin in the 18th and 19th Century. The distillery buildings can still be seen in the town.
