That art teacher coord is making me vibrate straight into space, I love it??? Honestly I'd planned to do an all rainbow coord the instant I ordered my Ice Cream Shoppe dress too, it just kind of asks for it, and having Cotton Candy Feet release the rainbow line as well?? In my heart they were made for each other, how can you not???
I, for one, would totally buy a 'rainbow lor' doll! I think the first co-ord is my favourite, but all of them are beautiful!
The first coord is certainly very busy, very bright, and a little overwhelming, but I think that could be the point! the dress is from a pride-themed line, so I could totally see you wearing it to a pride parade as a statement.
I love the Lisa Frank-level rainbow vomit of the first coordinate especially! I wonder if the rainbow fishnet tights would work better with the shoes and dress if you layered them over solid white tights. That might make them seem a bit more pastel
all these coords are super cute! i would love to see the first coord with a ton of decora accessories piled on, i feel that would help temper the different shades of color as well, but i think it works as-is and does have a very 80s cartoon vibe which i love. also hell yeah la corona rosada, ordered a custom from them awhile back and they were a delight to work with and the headwear is beautifully crafted and comfortable :3
Since you’re into black right now, it would be fun to do an all black or mostly black coord, except sweet instead of gothic! :D Is that even possible? Black sweet lolita? Like licorice? It would probably just end up as sweet-gothic.
There Is a style called bittersweet Lolita that's exactly that, mostly black with pastels

Sweet in black colorways exists lol, just look at btssb’s classic series which often has sweet dresses in black only.
@@smegellimes I don't wear lolita, I just like the art of clothing in general and enjoy Lor's content in particular so there's a lot I don't know. Is classic not a distinct style from sweet? Or is sweet a subset of classic meaning a lot of it can be interchangeable? Or am I way off?
@@quintessence_sailor Ah the word choice was a little confusing there! The series they mean is classic as in "iconic," but sweet in style, because Baby the Stars Shine Bright has certain designs that they regularly bring back that are kind of their staples and are referred to as classics. They are sweet lolita styles, but the designs are considered classics the way iconic old films are classics. The styles are largely considered Old School these days, such as the Karami JSK, and old school tends to lean towards understated sweet lolita. A lot of old school was black and white, but not gothic, and back then the term "elegant gothic lolita" or "EGL" was used as an umbrella term for the whole style even when it wasn't accurate. Classic is indeed a totally separate substyle that Lor does not wear. I hope that clarifies things.
In regards to the other comment, the idea of "bittersweet" is not a very popular one these days, because all it is are sweet prints in their black color variants. They are still 100% sweet styles. People just like to specify that they wear black colorways only or black with "creepy cute" accessories for some reason as though it's a separate style lol. "Bittersweet" is still sweet, so there are lots of all black sweet coords out there!

I love the full rainbow coord! I might be biased as I used to be a decora (I know I know it's sad "used to", I still am occasionally but I usually just stick to my emo-punk ness nowadays) but I think it looks completely wonderful!! The dress is so cute because it's simple but it's also colourful so you can style it in so many ways
I was not expecting to like that the all rainbow look for the exact reasons you gave but I actually really liked it? It gave off big clown vibes to me, in a good way, and reminded me of an old movie I watched a bunch as a kid called… I wanna say little Nemo in slumberland? Something like that? Idk something about the colors and silhouette remind me of it.

the first coord was not for me, but i absolutely LOVE the second coord and the third one. thank god i just started a new job so maybe i can snag that rainbow collection from CCF because that is EXACTLY the vibe i am going for with my lolita style

To answer the question you asked at the end of the video (what pieces or styles we think you should try next), I think it would be cool to either make coords for pieces that you don't wear much, or to do the opposite of this video (an all black coord! With different styles?)
The first one is approaching decora vibes in a way that I really enjoy (Even though it's super far from my personal style lol) just pure rainbow chaos. Just add 80 billion more hairpieces and it'd be perfect lol

If you wanna dip into the rainbow again maybe if your able trying to make different coords with each color...red, orange, yellow and so on. Might be a bit expensive but you can use maybe all the different shades of the colors...sounds like a lot now that I’m thinking about it but it would be a sick banner lol

Could you please do a video about etsy shops that you like? There are so many of them that it's overwhelming. I love Sweet Mildred already, and I know that Fan Plus Friend has an etsy in addition to their regular website, but outside of that I'm totally taking shots in the dark. Rather than gamble on getting bad quality, I'd like to try out the shops that you prefer, especially if you know some Black owned brands! I really need gothic suggestions if you know of some, but any style would still be interesting to see.

If you had socks or leg wear the same as the shirt in the first coord it would an A+ coord. The fish nets do seem a little vibrant still. I loved the other two Coords though.

I absolutely LOVE the dress. When I saw it on your IG I screamed with delight!
I struggle with Cotton Candy Feet. I ordered a pair of pink leather bow shoes (the mahou model) and they were super delayed, then when I asked after them after they were nearly a month late with no communication, they shipped them almost immediately. When I got them it looked like they made them in a rush the day I asked, the quality is not great...one of the heels is glued on at an angle/crooked which hurts when I walk, the bows are not centered and sewed on crooked, and the glue is visible in the seams. I'm not impressed and I so WANTED to be impressed. Does anyone else struggle?
I've heard that CCF can fluctuate in quality ever since they got more popular. Were you able to reach out to them again about the quality control?
@@psychotophatcat I got no reply when I reached out, which I'd read was not uncommon. I was a bit sad that I wasted a not-small amount of money on what ended up being pretty cheap and poorly made shoes that had no real recourse in return or exchange, but I tried something new and hoped for the best. It was a lesson learned.

I really liked how the cotton candy items looked but I have to ask... Does the glitter "shed"? If I left a trail of rainbow glitter like some kind of magical girl dandruff all over the house my husband would be really upset with me. lol
I haven't worn glitter in eons but if I recall & am seeing things correctly that specific type of glitter does not shed because of how it's adhered :} perfectly fine to wear around the house w out magical girl dandruff irritating others lmao
Well it still does shed if you pick at it or bang it up but it is a relatively safe glitter
